What's your favorite season and why is it fall?

I'm so glad the weather's getting cooler and the evenings are getting darker. It's been more than a month since I had to run the furnace(for the ac) and I hope I get another month before I have to start up the heat.

Winter is my favorite season, but I can relate to the love for autumn as I do love it. Unlike Spring which symbolizes depression for me, autumn is the opposite as the weather is getting nice instead of worse. I love the pretty colors of the trees, the pumpkins, and so much!

Still... Wish it would cool off sooner. Unlike you, I have had to have the the air conditioner on recently, unfortunately. Mid-week we get some nice cool air, but it's been in the 80s lately and looks like it will be after that. What is this, Florida?  I left the south for a reason. lol Climate change needs to go away.

Fall isn’t my favorite season but I do appreciate the cooler temps after a long hot summer and doing work in the heat and humidity. The shorter daylight hours are also a huge plus. I’m not a daylight sort of person so the more nighttime we get the more I like it.

I like fall because it's that nice in-between period from the searing heat of summer and the bitter cold of winter.

It's both Spring and Summer that depresses me, but Spring is a special kind of Hell because it represents the longest amount of time until happiness (late autumn and winter) returns. 

I like flowers and all, but with flowers come so many bad things like bugs, bright sunshine, heat and humidity. Spring is just misery to me. There's no untangling it from that for me. I'm happiest when the trees are bare, the insects are out of sight and the weather is nice or cold. Nature is just so peaceful in the winter. I can't get that peace any other time of the year.

Summer is my fav, followed by fall, winter and spring in that order. 

Spring is last because though it can be refreshing and invigorating, it can also be treacherous and cold. It is the neither here nor there season. 

I like Summer best because being outside presents the fewest problems.

My favorite part is after all of the leaves have fallen, and the bare bone branches and brambles let you see into the woods after the fog has lifted. Calm, quiet, perfect porch weather.

Winter most of all, everything about it. it feels like i'm somewhere else completely, but the fact we can see tiny pieces of ice fall into piles of white beauty is amazing. fall is calm and beautiful. spring because i love to pick flowers and it's pretty. summer is nice but it just gets too hot easily around here.

I love the cold and snow, if i could sleep in it i would(my skin's too sensitive to temperature lol)

Obviously my favorite season is summer because it's warm and mild with lots of sunny days. Autumn, on the other hand, is a little colder, but at least we celebrate Halloween in October!
