While I do like the idea of a Cuite Mark Crusader badge, the name is too long. So stay with Blank Flank.

And as some others said, it wouldn't make much sense when advancing to muffin.

 

And changing muffin to CMC would make less sense.

i personally think it should stay as blank flank because you get out of the rank immediatly. the cmc takes WAY too long to get their cutie marks so i don't think it should be renamed.

Given that this is my very first post anywhere on the forum, and thus I do not understand exactly how everything works, I think being a Blank Flank is an excellent start. Afterall, Applebloom, Sweetie Bell, and Scootaloo were all just "blank flanks" before they decided to create the CMC, just as how new users are "blank flanks" until they can meet new people and form new friendships (and of course, contribute more posts on the forum).

 

I know the CMC are still technically blank flanks, but that title was pretty much put on the backburner as they became more and more ingrained with the title of CMC.
