CGI isn't meant to portray realistic things... For the most part, that is.

I HAD TO FALL TO LOSE IT ALL BUT IN THE END IT DOESN'T EVEN MATTER /WRISTS

The way I see it, animation studios are getting more and more lazy the more they get money. If they want more and more, they're going to cut back on effort on the actual animation just to get a cheap buck.

Either that or CGI is just so overused that it's rotten into our brains on how it's just merely animation, and noting else. I know it has on me.

What has happened to CGI???They look so fake nowadays. Why can't they be realistic like in Jurassic Park,Jurassic Fight Club,Disney's Dinosaur and Dinosaur Revolution???For example, the hydra from the First Percy Jackson Movie was kinda conspicuous

I don't know about those other movies, but I'm pretty sure Jurassic Park used animatronics for the dinosaurs.

It all depends on the movie really. There are some where the CGI is nigh unnoticeable, such as Avatar, or ones where it's blatantly there, like with My Girlfriend Is A Superhero.

Of course, there's always the possibility that no matter how "realistic" it looks as long as you know it's CGI you are going to view it as CGI and it will never meet up to your standards of looking realistic.
