writing Thoughts

Just some thoughts written down. No, I am not depressed. Just lonely ;-;

 

So many people say I need to love myself,

when in fact I already do.

 

I love the way I love,

I love the way my heart works.

 

I may not like some things about me,

but they make me who I am.

 

I want to be with someone,

I want to share my life once more.

 

I am a dependent person,

I need someone to love.

 

Like the song goes,

I just want somebody to love.

 

The lonely pit of sadness in my chest isn't here,

but the loneliness is.

 

I feel truly alone without someone to love,

without someone to care for.

 

I wish the girl I was meant to be with would show her face,

would show that she is real.

 

One day this may happen,

one day I may be happy.

 

One can only hope.

This poem really touched me. I think you did a really great job on it, and really feel an emotional attachment on it. It made me think.. I could relate to the poem at one time, because I was feeling the same way when I was younger. But I know you will find that special someone under a full moon, when the time comes.
