Blaze continued to charge his magical energy. Eventually Blaze hit a wall. It was starting to get increasingly difficult to charge any more magical energy. Blaze had to concentrate more and more until he overcame the wall. Blaze knew that he absolutely had to charge almost all of his energy for this spell or else it wouldn't work. So he continued to concetrate.

He almost had all the energy he needed, if carrick could just buy him a little bit more time, he would have enough energy to pull it off.

Carrick groaned, "Why are you willing to create this? This place of...order was it?"

Ice Star nodded.

"Order has the lack of life. To be stuck without the ability of equninity(sp?). Why bother having life on Equestria? To live where no pony has a right to think for themselves without any type of fear? Would it be worth it?"

Ice Star sighs, "That's nice and all, but who cares about equninity? Only the few who deserve it shall get it. The public has shown that with equninity we have chaos. Discord, Nightmare Moon, and other ponies have shown that having too much...gets to you."

Carrick shook his head, "It isn't the whole group. It isn't everyone, is it even a majority? Why should the whole group fall by a few bad apples?"

"Because those few bad apples are willing to kill to get there ways."

"That shouldn't be enough, the ends doesn't justified the means."

"Well..it does to me."

-------

That's certainly your problem than mine. I'm not here to entertain you. I'm just following orders. If it were up to me, this would end differently. Corpus just continue his shield, holding it strong. Rocks still fly around to keep them distracted. As he continues his defense.

This is it Blaze thought I think I have welled enough MP

"It doesn't matter if the end justify the means or not", Blaze yelled as his body became shrouded in a yellowish orange aura of MP "Because you aren't going to reach your end goal"

If I am right, then this spell will awaken the Element wielders from their trances. No, awaken isn't the word I am looking for. It will reveal to them who their true selves are. And hopefully they will choose to oppose Ice Star once they see who they once were, and who they really are. Blaze thought

"Cleansing light,
open their mind's eyes,
reveal what has been shrouded in the darkness of night
" Blaze chanted the incantation he made up on the spot. Blaze knew that words had power, and that through words, magic had a more powerful medium. Which is why runes work so well. The ancient written language of runes is the most powerful medium. But spoken words would have to do. After all, as far as Blaze knew, there was no rune for this type of spell.

Blaze closed his eyes tight and released his pent up MP energy. A wave of warm light overtook the room and everyone in it.

Blaze felt weightless. He opened his eyes and noticed he was floating in a room of pure white.
Blaze started flailing which caused him to fall to the ground. A pure white ground that felt like concrete. He stood up and looked around. Off in the distance he saw a pony in a blue hood and cloak. He decided he had nothing else to do but approach the hooded figure.

"Who are you? Where am I?" Blaze asked the hooded figure

"Oh, Blaze, you know who I am" Two familiar male voices came from out of under the cloak in unison

"I don't have time to play games" Blaze said as he pulled the cloak off of the pony

Blaze was startled. The pony under the cloak was... well, it was himself. He was looking at a Blaze doppelganger. It was almost a perfect double, except the doppelganger was aesthetically, divided perfectly in half vertical. One side of the doppelganger (the left) was shrouded in flames with a glowing red eye and instead of whites around his irises there was black. The other side (right) had pure bluish white eyes radiating light.

"Impossible... but, you are me" Blaze said

"Yes we are" The doppelganger spoke with the duo voice that was a unison of what sounded like malevolence, and benevolence; lividity, and sadness, hotheadedness, and levelheadedness; and wisdom and buffoonery. All at the same time

"We are the true you, the inner you. We represent all you are, and all you will be."

"But how, what am I doing here" Blaze asked

"We are in a world within your mind as a result of your spell. The spell that reveals the true nature of one's self to those who were within the radius of the spell. It affected everyone in the room." The doppelganger replied

"But I don't get it, why am I here? Shouldn't I be back in the real world? This is a perfect time to attack Ice Star, while he is dazed." Blaze said angrily

As Blaze's voice rose in anger the flames of the half of the doppelganger momentarily consumed a little more than half, almost reaching the light side's eye, before reverting back to half.

"Don't worry, once you awaken, not even a second will have passed. The truth is, we need to talk to you."

"About what?"

"There is a war raging inside of you. The half of us that is light is fighting to save your friends, and the half of us that is fire is desperately scratching at the surface trying to unleash it's rage."

"But I don't get it, right now I have just discovered my ability of light and am using it to fight off Ice Star"

"For now you we safe behind the guise of benevolence, but you have not gotten rid of your destructive malevolent side. We are fighting each other, and sooner or later one side will win. Your flames are stronger than your light, but your light is more resilient than your flames. We are here to tell you that you have lost control of your anger more than once in the past, and that you will lose control of your anger again in the near future. If that were to happen, we will wreak as much havoc as possible. You flames can only be suppressed so long before they break free to taste the burning of flesh." The doppelganger explained

"But that will not happen again, I have gotten a handle on my anger, I WON'T lose control again." Blaze said with confidence

"Maybe not now, and maybe not within the immediate future. But we have come to warn you, you will lose control of your anger again. And next time, it will not be an enemy who is at the receiving end of your wrath"

As soon as the doppelganger said the word "wrath" Blaze awoke from his trance state. He looked around the room at the other ponies who all wore an expression of awe. He felt exceedingly drained, as if every cell in his body were screaming. He could only hope that his spell worked.

As Blaze's spell went off in the other room it almost seemed to bother Hypno and Shadow, but he quickly turned back to Corpus. Hoping that the spell had crossed over to the other room and either distracted Corpus or weakened his shield. He charged up an attack and quickly let it off. At the same time Shadow fired his own powerful spell he had been waiting to use. His book opened towards Corpus as a black ball of energy appeared, growing in size before it abruptly fired, crossing Hypno's attack and tangling in with it before the two spells struck the shield with piercing force and a loud explosion.

A witty rebuttal was his next move, however it seems like Blaze's charged move has finally been unleashed. A blinding light pierces the eyes of the detective. The room became impossible to see. Just pure light, never-ending touch of it. His head felt rattled, screams of pain as it felt as if it was being torn into two. The pain continue to elevate as he felt a head pop out, feeling it's neck and torso rip his head into two. The pain subsided as the detective's eyes open up. He was still alive. He stare at the body in front of him. A mask of red, covering his face while his torso read the same color of red.

"So, yous' think you can win all of this? With all your bullcrap? Color me impress, Sherlock."

His accent and words confused the detective, making a quick comeback, "Maybe, if Blaze's magic was correct then everything went as schedule. I'm not sure what he did..."

"Come on, think about it. You're suppos' to be the smart pony 'round here. Get your head out your ass and think. Who the hell am I?" The pony pushes his forehooves and stands with only his hind legs, forehooves spreading out, showing his whole body.

That's...such a random think to ask. How should I know this pony. It's not like I've seen this mask before. "I don't know."

"It's your Id. Impulses, desires, sex, money, the drive for winning cases, it wants it and it wants it bad." A pony comes forward as it walks past you, right next to the red pony. His mask was blue and it's coat followed the same color.

"You're the Super-Ego." Carrick deduced. Rubbing his chin with his hoof, realize that he was in his subconscious. A familiar, yet foreign place to be in.

"Great deduction, Sherlock." His sarcasms just slips off his tongue. Chuckling at his own remarks.

"Maybe if you weren't busy playing detective, you'd be getting that mare's-"

"Ahem! Now, then. We're here for a good reason. I know we both have a tendency to clash heads, but this is one of the few times we...agree on this. It's the most logical conclusion."

Carrick turned to his Super-Ego, "Okay then, what do you want me to do?"

"Unleash me...unleash all the untapped emotions that have been held up inside you."

"What are you talking about. I don't-"

"Don't be backsassin' me, mister. You don't think I don't know what goes on 'round here? Every time you hold it in, I can feel it. Every time you feel the tinge of anger. The happiness of a case. The smile of that marefriend of yours. I FEEL IT!"

"Fine, fine, but...that isn't me. Even if I DO unlock you, it's not like I can change into some type of alicorn. I'm just a regular earth pony. Nothing speical about me."

A loud WHAP was all Carrick could remember he felt the powerful slap of ID's hoof. Carrick fell to the white floor, feeling it's cold touch...so very cold. "Stop acting so goddamn modest, it's pissing me off! If you were some damn regular earth pony, you wouldn't be in some damn cave, fighting off a bucking demi-god!"

"You're something special kid. You punch a bucking Alicorn to save a pony. You survive the attack of a pony that would live in tartarus with no problems. You live to tell the tale of a pony who can every part of senses gone. You survive it all with only a few scratches.  Not to mention powerful ponies that are willing to help you in every command! Are you saying some bucking regular earth pony can do that?"

Carrick sighs, "I suppose you're right. It's not like I haven't survive all of this, but it's not like releasing my emotions will help me? Wouldn't it just harm me in battle?"

"You should know better to just assume that. Emotions will not only drive you push even harder than before...it will make you stronger. More resilient, maybe just enough to help them all."

"Maybe so, but even if that was enough...what about later? I can't let them overtake me. If let them pour out all the way...I might...I might actual lose my touch."

"No one says you'll have to let little 'ol ID come out and play all day. BUCK man, if I was out there all day....Buck, maybe you'd lose that cold streak of yours."

Superego just shook his head, turning to Carrick. "It's best to let out your emotions, Carrick. Either now or later, they'll pop up. Later might be worst, because if we don't use them now. We might be....yeah."

Carrick had to contemplate it. To unleash Id, might lead to Pandora's box. Even if Super-Ego is right about the improvements in strength. Would it even be close to fend off these beasts? The detective had to think about it. If he pop in just as regular Carrick, he might be able to use the Elements of Harmony, but would he be even close if that happens? What if Blaze's magic does something else to them? It's not like we can do this again, Ice Star seems like he'll kill us after this. It's not like he could use any type of major strategic planning, anyway.

"Id..."

"Yes, sweetheart?"

"If...I'd play your game, would I be able to plan out anything?"

"Well..I can't promise anything, but as long as you don't go full instinct mode. You should be fine."

"Ugh, this is all around...impulsive."

"Welcome to using your Id, I'm your host...Mister Id. We have a wide variety of being bucking impulsive. Now isn't the time to think it through. It's do or die now, Murphy. and I think we can have SUCH a beautiful relationship together!"

Super-ego just walks away. The detective accepts whatever outcome this will take him. All he can do now is...

------------------------------

The blinding light seems dies off. Whatever magic spells that encased Murphy has ceased to hold him any longer. His face struck with a look of awe. Then realize what happened. His mind filled with all emotions that were encased deep into him. Every. Single. One. He wasn't sure what he had accomplished. He didn't remember anything from what happen, but these emotions...these emotions...they were getting to him. All of them begging to be used....to abuse them. Carrick's stagnant face gave a smirk. As if he knew in the back of his mind what to do.

He turned to see the six ponies that were the reason for his demeanor. All of them with looks of questions. How did it become like this. The purple one speaks.

"Detective Murphy!"

"Yes, Sparkle?"

"Hold him off while we get the elements!"

"Today's my lucky day~" The detective chuckle at his own joke, this was going to be hell...

----------------------

Corpus's mind was violated...all those...

The things he's done...

No...

This is....

This is right....

It has to be right...

These ponies.....

His mind sudden wander as the shield weaken, his mental state shattering before his very eyes. He saw the force of two spells come and shattered his shield. The sound was just enough to get him out of his funk, still hitting the ground in high velocity. He was just around the edge of the cave. Corpus got up, adrenaline coursing into his veins. He wasn't going deal with this. His horn glow once again as a room started to grow in temperature....

-----------------------

Ice Star seems to be in a state of shock.

Was he wrong? Could all of this been for naught? He couldn't be. This was his fate. His destiny! He's just being toyed with, he turned to both Blaze and Carrick. "Nice....moves." He grunted as he felt as he ran miles. That spell was still attacking him, but he needed to win. No more games...

"Too bad, I'll kill you for this..."

((Not sure what I'm doing, but here we are.))

Ice Star's facial expression read one of lividity and death. And all of that anger was directed at Blaze.

Oh no, I am really in for it now. Blaze thought I have almost zero magic power left. I definitely can't cast any more spells for a while let alone fight physically. What should I do?

"Heh, I must have really gotten to you. What's wrong Ice colt? Can't take a little introspection?" Blaze taunted.

Blaze resorted to his old answer to problem solving, when in trouble, taunt the antagonist.

Hypno was in the midst of chuckling next to his partner as the two suddenly blacked out from Blaze's spell.

He awoke in his own mind like the rest. But instead of the white lights and encouragement it was a more dark and eerie scene, cracked, destroyed, and completely insane. Carnival music played in the background softly with a slight static noise that went in and out every once in a while. He spun around, noticing three figures, two of them looking rather familiar. One of them was a more normal Hypno, missing his tuffed ears, odd eyes, and all other markings and accessories. This version of himself looked like any other normal pegasus. The other was a more malevolent version of himself. He had longer hair, darker colors, bat wings, and a rather creepy grin as he stared. And the last figured stood right next to the evil Hypno. It was a black wolf-like Diamond Dog, wearing a salvaged pony skull as a mask. It had a assortment of bulky armor, and carried a large jagged claymore strapped to it's back. The character seemed to hold control of the darker Hypno, staring at Hypno with his own glowing red eyes through it's mask.

The Diamond dog started speaking. "Your mind had trouble bringing all your inner personalities here, so it made due by bringing them all as two beings instead." It spoke with a low raspy voice, before it started to fade away into the darkness. Hypno got out a "What do you mean? What is this, and who are you?" But the strange character had already disappeared. Something seemed Familiar about the beast too.

The more twisted looking Hypno spoke first. "We've come a long way here, haven't we?" It asked with a condescending tone. "And seeing we may or may not die pretty soon, what do we have to show for it?" the character continued. "I'd give you a moment to think, but I don't think it's really needed. The answer is nothing." Hypno wanted to reply, but he simply couldn't. "The only thing we almost had walked out on us pretty quick, but then again it wasn't my idea to befriend the highly dangerous enemy mare tied up in a cabin we found, eh? And I thought we got over the emotions of love and friendship already, they're such childish and foolish emotions anyways." The darker Hypno continued with a more hostile tone. "Just look what it's gotten us into now?"

"I-it's not over yet..." Hypno said back, his voice faltering. The Darker Hypno just merely chuckled. "We'll see, now wont we? But I think I already know what's coming." He retorted before he stopped, feeling satisfied. The other Hypno finally spoke up. "Don't believe the Debby Downer over here, nothings happened yet." He said with a calm voice. "Everything can still be fixed, you just have to believe it. This spell that was cast probably just turned the tides in our favor significantly, not we just have to capitalize on that." The whole scene started to disappear while he he was talking. "We're running out of time, just hit him with all you have, we have to defeat him now while his defenses are down." With that being said, Hypno returned to the real world

--------

Hypno opened his eyes once more, turning to Corpus who looked a bit more angered now. At least they finally got through his shield. He looked over to Shadow who had returned himself and had already begun saving up energy for another strong attack. Hypno figured he was going to have to keep Corpus busy in the meantime. He started out by spawning what seemed to by some sort of large spear, using his magic to chuck it towards Corpus with force.

(I'll just do Quickly. Lyth is still bleeding energy into Blaze)

Quickly felt a blinding light explode outwards from Blaze, washing over him and causing his eyes to tear up. He squeezed them shut tightly, until it seemed like the light had calmed down. He opened his eyes and found himself in a library. A library that seemed to have no end.

A foal-like version of himself was sitting at a table with a book of life on the table. He looked grim, and his eyes were puffy from crying. "Quickly... Welcome to the Tablet. Unfortunately for you, you can't study anything right now."

A colt-like Quickly sat on a staircase reading about flight techniques. "As if he'd want to study in here. He's gunna be the second fastest flier in Equestria!"

(*Sigh* The things I do...) A mare version of Quickly stared out a window, "Was that before or after we went back to Wings to, yet again, be rejected? I don't care what his kisses are like; it's like continually flying in a hailstorm. Eventually we're going to hit a pole and die."

An older version appeared, looking like he's done more of his fair share of worrying. "Is it not our experiences that define us?" The younger version of him was snickering at the mare version, saying, "You'd like running into a pole, now wouldn't you?" She tackled him and they roled down a bookshelf corridor. Elder Quickly sighed, and patted him on the shoulder. "This is just a detour; you need your subconscious, which is over there." He pointed to a tunle and walked away. Quickly slowly walked towards the indicated area, before stepping through. He felt like he was falling, and the landed in a bright clearing. He looked up, expecting there to be a sun, and saw a moon instead. The moon doesn't give off this much light...

"Quickly, down here. We need you a moment." A shy-looking, black mare stood next to a stoic, dark-purple stallion.

"It would seem your in a predicament," the stallion says, "A predicament that may seem familiar to you. A cave, friends in danger, and a shared objective."

"Not that you should be scared of this situation," the mare says, "Just maybe... A little cautious. You just have to make sure that you stall Corpus long enough that the Elements can zap him."

"And what of Hypno? He still has problems. I say we redefine the objective. Hypno's got Corpus covered, especially wit Deava and everyone else fighting in this rock. Why don't we go looking for the friend that'll bring real-Hypno back."

"But Snow could be anywhere."

Quickly shook his head, "We're Nighthunters. It's our buisness to go after those lost in darkness."

The shy mare nodded, "Right, then let's go. You've not much time though; Corpus is hacked off. There's a corridor you guys passed on the way in, though it seemed hidden from view. Good bye Quickly."

The two ponies haved and he felt a weight in his gut. He fell through the floor of his subconcious and back into his own body. He put a hoof to his head, reorienting himself. He felt like he'd gotten a full-on flashbang with his eyes wide open. Blaze's discharge was probably like that to him. Of all the times to pull something like that... He shook his head and pulled a 360 turn on his front hoof, thrusting of the ground to fly low and fast. He turned sharply into the corridor he'd heard about in his dreams and performed an aerial brake and recovery. Now to find her... he thought, beginning his search.

Hypno looked over to Quickly as he left. What is he doing?... He thought with a face of confusion and nervousness. He turned back, firing a blast towards the spear, it seemed to catch up, touching the spear and causing it to ignite with magical energy speeding it up surprising fast and causing it to explode on the first thing it touches. He grinned, hoping he could finally damage Corpus.

Ice Star gave a chuckle, "Introspection? Well, now maybe I did..."

"But that still doesn't matter. You're a dead colt." He growled at him. Not bothering to even show any restrain on his voice.

Carrick chuckle, "Well now, looks like everyone has joined the crazy train today." He walk over to Ice Star then right next to Blaze. He still felt the pain of Ice Star's attack and his own hoof smashed into the cracked rune. "Stop blathering on about going to do something and do it. You scarey colt."

Ice Star gritted his teeth, his horn started to glow once again. The cold weather started to appear once more....

-------------------

Corpus magic started to appear as he was behind Hypno. Do you really think your magic would actually be able to do anything? I-I maybe have been....violated in my mind, but I know for sure I won't die by the likes of you.

Corpus was more intent on attacking Hypno, not really caring for what Quickly's actions were. Corpus horn glowed again as he started to make a rune....

Hypno sighed, looking a little frustrated. "Well, lately I haven't been too keen on living anymore so I decided why not?" He said with a slight chuckle. My attacks are even weaker than I had hoped... He thought as he simply charged up another attack and fired, not really caring much anymore. He braced himself, knowing there wasn't much he could do at this point.

Shadow let go of the attack he had been saving up knowing he had no time to waste when Corpus was about to attack himself. He shot it straight at Corpus's chest, hoping to at least knock his spell out of balance.

Quickly found himself at the end of a well-furnished hall of a cave. Not really much different then anywhere else, other than lacking evidence of a fight. He knocked on the door, recalling how similar it looked to the one in the tower, which reminded him of his cookies, which made him frown with distaste. Sorry grandma, your cookies are healthy but so, so bad. "Snow?" he whispered to the door, Äre you in there?"

By now, the fatigue from using that spell wore so heavily on Blaze that he started feeling faint. His eyes grew heavy, his every cell screamed in soreness from over exertion.

"gunna... we... you... beat... star ice" Blaze tried to form a coherent sentence, but at this point even his brain was starting to falter. He could hardly stay standing, and he knew that if he were to lay down, he wouldn't be getting back up for a while.

  • 3 weeks later...

Ice Star chuckle at his foe. Barley able to produce any type of attack or defense. At his breaking point, only staying up by will only. He continue his attack. As the clip clop of Carrick hoofs were heard. "That's cute, trying to beat down a weaken pony. Sounds like someone who can defeat ANYONE." A faint hmph came across Carrick's lips. Hearing the whispers of the six pastel ponies getting ready for there classic attack...

"Are you here to try to fight me?" Ice Star asked, his attention turning to Carrick. "That's cute, your attacks aren't close to defeating me."

"What makes you say that, because I'm a earth pony?"

A simple grunt comes from him, as the cold weather continue to freeze the cave. Carrick body was able to withstand the cold, but he starting to feel the chills.

-----

Corpus grunted as he leap around the blast, his rune wasn't finish yet. He turned to him, a pony that's mind continues to falter. He needs to continue his work taking a stance in the defensive.

---------------

"What do you want?" Were the only words that echo near Quickly.

Hypno chuckled as he fired off a few more blasts. "C'mon fight back!" He yelled as he attacked.

Shadow figured Corpus was going to dodge again, and to take him by surprise he fired off his charged blast in the spot he thought he was going to evade Hypno's attack to.

Ah! His mind scattered in a million thoughts, he couldn't of react to the next beam. Taking the hit head on, the mysterious general has fell on the ground. Pain, a feeling he hasn't felt in such a long time. Had shocked him onto the ground. His powerful strength, defeated by his own mind and by these ponies. Unable to get himself up, he laid on the ground. Too many thoughts in his head. .....If you want to help your friends, you better leave now before....my mind comes back.

"yeah.. das... thats... good. I'll just leave it.... leave it.. .to you" Blaze murmered as he fell to the ground as the mixture of fatigue and cold took it's toll. As Blaze passed out, he could only hope that Carrick could stop this madpony by himself. And with that fleeting thought, Blaze collapsed into an unconscious state.

Hypno looked at Corpus rather confused, then looked over to Shadow for a moment, it didn't feel right just to finish him off, so he let the rest of the group decide. "Go help Phoenixtear, I have something else in mind for now." Before he turned around, going in the direction Quickly had left to. Shadow had merely nodded, going towards the room where Ice Star was. As Hypno walked he figured that they had won a bit too easy, and knew that they probably hadn't seen the last of Corpus quite yet. But for now he needed to figure out what Quickly was doing, he tried to guess where he had gone by scent and just luck for now.

The sounds of Blaze falling straight to ground was just enough for him to startled Ice Star. Carrick, taking his chance. Went on the attack as he was in just enough of range to use his right forehoof and hook Ice Star.

The sucker-punch made Ice Star fall on the ground. His concentration unable to hold as the room started to clear up. The detective was sure that would be just enough...right? He was unsure of what his next plan of action was. The detective gave a soft chuckle. "Never get distracted, sweetheart."

The detective heard the steps of another pony coming towards this cave. As Ice Star got himself up, he knew he'll need all the help he can mustered. I mean...How long does it take to put on the elements of harmony? Geez!

Hypno continued walking, feeling rather lost in the seemingly endless hallways of the cave. He sat down, taking a few breaths before he sighed, feeling rather tired, but mostly hungry. He looked around, figuring now that he probably should of just followed Shadow at this rate.

Shadow walked down carefully. "The general for now has been taken down. What's the plan here?" He asked rather plainly.

Carrick turns to see Shadow asking a interesting question. "That's a good question, Shadow. it's time to play distraction~" The detective quick glance at the six ponies as they start to get their elements on. Took them long enough. Carrick thought as Ice Star finally got himself.

"Okay, now...I'm pissed" Ice Star ready a spell...

Shadow merely shrugged. "I suppose it's not entirely my forte, but I can try." He said as he fired off a few light blasts to conserve his energy. He knew there was going to be something coming so he used the rest of his excess energy to shield Carrick and himself.

Hypno tried getting up, but the injuries he had received earlier and his lack of energy in general started to catch up with him and didn't allow him to do so. So he painfully cringed and say back down on the brink of passing out, chuckling a few times before he actually did, falling into a light sleep.

Ice Star was prepared for such a move as he shield himself with his magic. Just after blasting a wave of energy at Carrick and Shadow. Carrick turns to see the elements are finally ready to take him down. As they started to float around the room...

"Looks like we don't have to wait for too long, that's good." Carrick muttered to himself. Magic pulsated into the room. Ice Star, turning around to see that his plan...was about to fail. A ironic twist at that. Unable to do anything, he accept his fate...A beam of light takes him....leaving him....alive. Nothing seem to have affected him, least...he wasn't turned in stone himself.

Ice Star didn't smile nor chuckle...he felt his energy zapped out of him. His horn just disappear. As if it was never there.

"Shadow!" Carrick shouted, "Now's the time for an all-out attack!" Using Ice Star's shattered mind now. Carrick sprinted forward. All of his pains and aches were gone in the wind. Nothing, but pure anger and strength was going to hit him....Carrick winded up his hoof as he jump into the air...

"That's more like it." He commented as he teleported to the side, making sure no to hit anyone else. His floating book seemed to open up, spinning around before a black shape appeared out from it, growing larger and larger as it seemed to unfold into a star-like shape. He used the rest of his energy for his best spell. A small black ball seemed to absorb particles around it as it grew in side, making a screech noise as it charged up and then a large bang as it fired a quick beam at Ice Star before exploding on contact.

His hoof made contact as Ice Star hit the other side of the cave. Nothing was said as Shadow's attack went and contacted Ice Star. Carrick held himself together from the shockwave of the attack. As he turns to see the charred fur of Ice Star. He was unable to finish or attempt any type of counterattack. He just laid there, unable to think...just breath small breaths.

"He's a resilient one...." Carrick said, turning to Shadow. Carrick walk over to Ice Star as says "You're under arrest...."

(That's it for now. Calling it a night)
