After a breif nap, he reliezed tonight, he wasn't going to get anymore sleep; He opened his eyes and walked out of his make-shift den. He looked at the stars, first to admire them, then to find the northern direction. He then looked towards the moonrise, and sent a private prayer to Luna for safety. Then he snapped out his wings, simaltaniously eating the seals meat. It seemed to burn in his stomache, providing energy. He felt like he was soaking in moonrays. Celestia might be their godess, but it was Luna who they favored. Luna brought the protection of darkness, where a nighthunter could stalk his foes or hide, equally. He jumped off the cliff.

 

The thing about cold climates that most Earth and Pegasi don't know is that the air is dryer, and thinner. This means that when it meets the relatively wet, warmer thermals, it makes a nice updraft. He rode that to get a good height, then set his angle slightly downwards. This made him go forward and stay high optimally. He watched the moon reflections of the ocean, his wings flying him towards him while he thought about other things. namely, Wings. I wonder, is he still at the cabin where we left him? Half of me hopes he is, the other half is positive that he's not. That half thinks that he got captured waiting. Oh, what to do... I think that's the mountain... It wouldn't be that far out of the way...

Clocks looked over to Midnight. "So, what's up with the guards?" He asked as he adjusted himself in the couch.

"Just protection, i didn't expect us to stay at a mansion when you said we were going to be fighting" He chuckled

Zerrif replied with the saying that only Ice Star's Generals knew "Ice Star is everything, he is the start of the finish. And he begins where all things end. We are Ningues Devoto, we are the beginning of the end."

A good three hours and a thundercloud mishap later, Quickly landed on the shores. He was exahsted, but otherwise unhurt; his weather gear had protected him. He shook himself free and ate the rest of the seal. For energy, this isn't half bad. If it hadn't come from a living creature, I would've suggested it to the board for overnight missions. Thank you Luna, please, protect and guide me to my next objective. And like a signal, he looked up, seeing the moon directly behind a mountain. He was speechless, "*Choking noises* Uh, er, uh, thank you Luna!" he says happily, jogging towards the mountain.

"I hope you choke on those words as we end your pitiful life you mindless monkey" Blood said as response. "And I hope you personally give word to piano boy back there that he has made me take time out of my day to walk around all of Equestria just to see to it that your new beginning never happens."

Zerrif gave a hearty laugh and turned away from Blood and began to walk back to the tower "You were only a means to an end, we got what we wanted out of you even if you yourself are not aware of it. Enjoy what life you have left Blood, because it is not much" Zerrif said in passing as he walked towards the tower exiting the oasis.

Blood would of left, but what Zerrif said caused him to look back towards him with a snort. "And tell me, what have you gotten out of me, Monkey?" He asked with a grin as he teleported over to him. "You seem to have also missed the fact that i said we will end you."

Zerrif stopped, he could of easily continued to walk but he decided to indulge Blood for a bit "Hmm... oh that, yeah well with help from what we got from you... lets just say the entire reality you know will no longer exist. Try using the term "we" when you and your entire blood line is non existent. Everything you know, and have known will be irrelevant. Ice Star is going to rewrite history. And I have it from the head honcho himself that you are not going to be part of it." Zerrif said.

We will begin to wipe your little camps one by one, after all i know where most of them are now." Blood spat back.

Zerrif began to laugh uncontrollably. "You- you really think YOU played US?" Zerrif began to laugh again tears coming to the corners of his eyes "It is quite the opposite. Did you not realize it the moment you picked up your little novelty item? The runic circle mister 'Rune Master' put your toy on was not to repair it. It was to copy it. It was a SS class spell that completely and utterly copied everything within the circle. Did you honestly think it would really take a whole week to fix that crummy relic? No! It was going to take a whole week because he not only copied your piece of spit, but he was going to fix both of them so you would not be suspicious. Obviously plans changed a bit. But we got what we wanted." He wiped the laughter tears from the corner of his eyes. "You are useless to us now. And there is no room in history for you or your species" Zerrif said.

Wings yawned, he was asleep for a decent amount of time. It was something that he hasn't done, a amenity he couldn't get when he was in the fleet of Ice Star. He comfy bed was something he enjoyed quite well. He wonder what happened to those ponies. He didn't have much information over on these mountains. All he knew was the bed was comfy and right now that's all he cared for...

When i fused it with my blood it became to bonded to me only. There is no spell in the entire planet that could make it useful to you without my help." He said as he started to laugh. "The only thing you have done is doubled my power you monkey! And now you have angered me..."

Not even the likes of you could compare to a triple S class spell. Ice Star is the most powerful magi of all time, he is a god, no, he IS god. You know nothing. You are over a thousand years old and yet you are not wise like princess Celestia or Luna or Ice Star. No you have your head buried in your sands. You have fooled yourself into thinking that there is no way for you to be trumped. You are not only wrong, you are stupid"

He blinked some of the frost from his lashes. Wow, just like when I first saw the group. The tracks have snowwed over a bit. Urrg, my mind hurts. I feel like I should be remembering something, but I... can't. He gallops up to the cabin; the place had been frozen into his mind. He took a deep breath, and knocked on the door.

"You see, the only thing that will do is corrupt himself. In fact, he will fail at doing so anyways. He cant seeing i have full control over it. It's a blood pact, and without my own consent it cannot be unbound or rebound to another." He chuckled "You cannot get rid of me either. The sand is a item of time itself, and cannot be unwritten." He then started to chuckle louder, as if he knew something else.

 

"Beat's me, probably a hour or so by my guess" The ferret said.

The sound of the door, he groaned as he didn't know who or what would be outside the door. Wings got up, he rubbed his wing. Wings twitched as the pain course on his wing. Still hurts, what a world. Wings continued to trot along. As he opened the door, he saw the figure and his eyes widen, he gave a smile, "Well, it's good to see you again, Sweetie."

"To answer your question monkey. Yes, i do think i played you." he said as he grinned "When i walked in there i'm sure someone noticed that the sand inside my hourglass was normal colored. It's called blood sand for a reason. I only wanted you to fix the glass. And since i didn't trust you whatsoever. I kept the sand to myself, seeing i physically had to. Zerrif, does it really matter if he thinks he has one up us? It's better that way anyway. Can you stop talking with him? We have more problems to worry about than a stupid vampire. Take Starbolt and come back here. A voice sounded in Zerrif as the one of Corpus. It didn't go to Blood or any of the other ponies close by. He didn't bother to play with him anymore. In case you haven't notice, time is starting to become more of a factor. Let's not waste it by trash like him.

All I have been doing is furthering Ice Star's malevolence. HE IS MAIN ANTOGONIST not blood. Sorry if it messed with your future plans, but Ice Star is the guy everypony should be worried about not Blood.)

 

"You have no-" Zerrif was about to go on another spiel spilling all of Ice Star's plans but Corpus's voice stopped him. He tilted his head up to the sky sniffed a bit, twitched his ears and then said "You are right Corpus. Hah see you in the funny papers bat boy" Zerrif said as he sprinted off in the direction of the tower.

(Blood didn't have any plans, nor was he going to be an full antagonist. But the only thing it did was screw with the original design of the blood sand. And make me have Blood fight Ice Star now even though he originally was supposed to be allied with them. Also now i have to make plans i didn't expect to have to make in the first place)

 

"You have nothing against me i'm afraid." Blood chuckled as he teleported out of sight.

Corpus was a bit peeved when he said the word Corpus. However the energy started overflow once again, Corpus took a deep breath and relaxed once more. That unicorn should of not have spilled that name. It really has become more of a problem than anything. Corpus energy went back to his horn. He closed his eyes and concentrated...

Snow felt a chill down her spine, she wonder if it was really that cold in here. Snow sat down and talk to the ferret, "an hour? Well, that's lovely. Now, I guess I'll just get some sleep again." She said more to herself than the ferret.

(Sure, that would be fine. It's totally okay though. I'm cool with it being copied. But in order for Ice Star to 'find' the sand itself is something you should be informed about seeing it's complicated.)

 

Hypno looked to Blaze wondering how long he was going to have to stay here. he wished he could go back to his home to check on snow

 

The ferret nodded "Sure, help yourself, there are plenty of begs and comfy chairs around here" He said as he looked at the long way down from the counter. It did something rather unexpected next as it began to grow to the size of a filly and jumped down safely.

"So is that all the information you have for me then young one?" Celestia asked

 

"Um... well we have reason to believe he was behind the destruction of Filly." Blaze said

 

Celestia's expression turned to sorrow. "What happened in filly was tragic. I wish there was a way to prevent it. But I am glad to here that you know who the culprit is. Is there anything else?"

 

"Well princess, we are currently planning an attack on the tower that is inside the crater that was once Filly. I am sure you know about the tower already. I was wondering if you could spare some soldiers or guards to help me in the final battle" Blaze asked

 

"Well I would normally say yes without hesitation but as I am sure you have heard, monster attacks have increased drastically during the few weeks you have been on your assignment. The gates of tartarus have been opened and thousands of nightmarish creatures have entered Equestria. I am afraid I can't spare anyone, I can hardly spare you with your magic talents we could have used you on the front lines but what is done is done. I am sorry. I can not help you in that way."

 

"I see..." Blaze said disappointed.

 

"But perhaps I can aid you in a different way." Celestia levitated a cloak and from behind her and set it in front of Blaze "This is not an ordinary cloak. It is made from angel hair and it is infused with phoenix tears. It allows the wearer to be immune from fall damage. No matter how high you fall you will be fine. It also serves as a magic shield, because it is infused with phoenix tears it protects the wearer from most spells. It is known as Ariel's Embrace. I want you to have it." Celestia said

 

"Uh- but.." Blaze was flabbergasted, this was the first time he was ever given a present by anyone besides his family member's. Let alone such a priceless artifact. "Are- are you sure?"

 

"As sure as I will ever be child. Use it in good health" Celestia said

 

"Th-thank you Celestia" Blaze said with a tear in his eyes.

 

"Think nothing of it, I also have something of yours." She whistled a high pitch whistle and held out her hoof. A phoenix flew in and landed in her hoof. "I believe she belongs to you right? She came here a week ago and has been keeping Philomena company since" Celestia said

 

"YUKI?! Is that really you" Blaze said astonished as the bird came flying at him landing on his outstretched hoof. "Thank you so much princess, I honestly can't think of a way to repay you"

 

"I can, bring the criminal Ice Star to justice. And with that I bid you a farewell, Manehatten is under attack by a 600 foot tall hydragon, it was originally thought to be just a hydra, until it shot flames from its mouth and grew wings. I have to go deal with this before to many ponies get harmed." Celestia said as she flew off out the open sky light window.

 

"Thank you Celestia! Be safe." Blaze said as he watched her fly off.

 

"Let's get back to the manor and try out that Astral Projection ability you were talking about" Blaze said and they walked back to the Winter's manor. Blaze retired back to the office quarters allowing Hypno time and space to meditate.
