Here is an IRL pony photo while I was at this wedding. It just came to me when I first heard that I'm invited to it. :3

@Adam & XraYZPony: To be candid, I did kinda use some shading in this. Just throwing it out there.

Okay, for a good in real life picture, you want to add shading to specific areas of the vector; good areas to shade are: Under the mane, back legs, under objects, outlining certain edges, and everywhere other than the edges (If light source is coming from the rear). Also, you should add shadows to the vector, adding another sense of realism to the final project. Also, it's good to blur a few parts of the vector so that it isn't too crisp.

 

Also, you want to size the distances from them. I see how you shrunk Scootaloo to add a sense of distance, but she should be positioned a bit more up.

Give it some shadows below them and it'll look a lot more realistic.
