What Program do you use.

So latley i have been trying to draw usuing paint.net, but Paint.Net is not coroperating with me so i need a new program to use, does anyone have any suggestions?

Personally I use Photoshop, because it's got everything, and you can make anything with it.

But, there's also Paint Tool SAI which is a program for drawing only. Then there's GIMP, which is more or less a copy of Photoshop, but free. And lastly, there's also SketchBook Pro.

Use GIMP if you're not willing to spend money, or to pirate Photoshop. It's more or less the same thing, but with a little bit less features.

I d have photoshop but i find it difficult to use with my style of drawing so i dont use it, but i will try Gimp for the heck of it, i am interested in Sketchbook Pro though, I'll check it out.

Photoshop ain't that hard to draw with, really. You can use the 'R' key to rotate the canvas, if that's the reason you're having trouble with it

Its the curved line tool that i find difficult, it doesn't corroperate, im downloading gimp now, god i hate it when they are al like Download this and support this and toolbars and such.

Yeah, those things are really annoying, but they're there because it's a freeware. Good thing is, though, that you don't need to get them :DD

Paint Tool SAI and Photoshop are the best I guess. But you said they don't fit for your ways of drawing? Hm try MyPaint GIMP is similar to Photoshop. Photoshop has just 10000000000000 more features.

 

I forgot to say, I use Photoshop and Paint.NET myself. For vectoring I use Inkscape.

Usually it's Illustrator and Photoshop for me. And occasionally I give Corel Painter a go just for the lulz.

Okay, i was gone but while i was gone i drew this in PaintTool SIA, i think its pretty good but the colors are really messed up and it looks like a 6 yearold colored it in, and to be honest i was looking at an image from the internet so i did have a refrence and this wasn;t free draw.
