gaming Alternate Reality Games.

So I'm a fan of the web show known as Extra Credits, and recently they discussed Alternate Reality Games, or ARG for short.

This got me very intrigued and I wanted to participate in one. The only issue is knowing what or when they're going on. So I thought I'd make a thread where previous players can discuss their past adventures and newbies like me can learn of new games to participate it.

I've thought about doing an online one on the forums, but I don't think I'd have time, with all my other obligations and whatnot :/

The idea is pretty interesting, but it sounds like WAY too much work. It also sounds like new players would be joining the game half way in which isn't necessarily always fun. Also, I live behind my computer. My everyday life is on the computer... an ARG probably wouldn't be interesting to me if say I needed to find the flash drive at the Nine Inch Nails concert when I don't even know who they are. Or they might turn into the whole slender man documentary series thing where they just dragged it out for so long that I just straight up lost interest.

I've always been interested but so many of these "ARGs" or so outlandish with thinking outside of the box that I never bother.
