Bumble jumped back in surprise as Quip appeared out of seemingly nowhere. "Oh, hi! Nice to see you again. Say, have you ever been to a party like this? It's huge, but I haven't found much to do." Bumble looked around and found herself and Quip in the banquet room. "We should move somewhere else, I think we're blocking the path between those ponies and the food."

"Oh, yeah" he walked with Bumble back into the ball room, "There's alot of ponies here, every room or yard is pretty much filled, iv'e never seen anything quite like it" he looked into Bumbles eyes for a second and smiled, "Would you care to dance? i mean were here and we don't have anypony else to dance with" he held a blank expression, not knowing how she would answer.

Bumble was actually quite jubilant when he had asked, but she tried to keep her expression normal and sanely replied, "Sure, why not?" She was led to the dance floor and they started dancing.

Quip smiled and watched the way Bumble danced, Im... im actually dancing with a mare, he just went along with it and danced with her, having the most likely best time of his life, "You're a pretty good dancer Bumble, and cute" he didn't care what she thought of him now, it didn't matter.

Esme was a bit surprised about what Yavolin had told him, but she didn't show it. "Oh, that's ok. We don't have to go and meet Celestia, if you don't want to." She suddenly felt something more than what she had been feeling before, and she leaned in close to him, and kissed him full on the lips.

"Thank you, you're pretty good yourself." She was liking the pony in front of her more and more, and as much as she tried not showing it, she just couldn't help it. She moved to the rhythm in a smooth fashion, smiling.

Yavolin was surprised by the kiss but he was happy.He began to kiss Esme back, he wished that this could never end.Yavolin stopped kissing Esme to tell her something."Esme, I was wondering if you would like to live with me in my cottage".

"Um, Well, if it's alright with Eldrich... I mean, if she CAN live with us... It's fine by me." Esme nuzzled Yavolin and leaned closer to him. "I love you." she whispered as she fell asleep.

Yavolin smiled at Esme , but he didn't know if a dragon could stay with them but it would give him something to take care of for awhile but he would have to keep an eye out for the dragon because he didn't want his cottage burned down.

Quip was worried if she didn't hear what he said after that, but it didn't really matter all that much, "So...you know how we don't have special someponies? well... maybe... you could be mine? and... i could be yours? im trying not to go too fast but, you understand right?" Quip looked into Bumbles eyes in anticipation.

Bumble was filled with adrenaline as Quip asked if she could be his special somepony and he could be hers. Nothing was holding her back, he she practically squealed quietly, an odd mix, "Yes!" Bumble leaned in and hugged him, though she was smaller.

Quip didn't think she would react this way, he smiled and hugged her back, "Well lets not keep from having fun now" he continued to dance with her, This has probably been the best day ever.

"Not like we're not having fun right now," she replied. All the dancing was beginning to have an effect on her stomach. "Do you want to move to the banquet and get a table, if possible?"

"Oh sure, i'm a bit hungry myself" he grabbed Bumbles hand and walked over to the room where multiple round tables were laid out and one big table to hold all the food, he walked to the food table and grabbed a plate, putting whatever looked good onto it.

Bumble followed Quip as he placed delicious foods on his plate. It all looked fantastic, and she couldn't wait to try the exotic foods in front of her. She filled her plate and filled her wine glass with red wine and brought the plate and glass to the table where a candle was lit, like every other table in the room.

Quip sat down on the opposite side of the table and placed down his plate and drink, he wasn't a drinker so he had to go where all the light drinks or regular juices were and got white grape juice, not fancy or anything but it was his favorite. Quip chomped down into his food and tried not to stuff his face or make himself look like a pig, "Sorry if im a bit sloppy, but this food is really good"

After sometime of partying Sky had gotten table with Rosey and they began to relax a bit from all the partying. Their personal waiter arrived with the menu, he heard that they were professionals from a restaurant in Prance and that they served some of the best food in the world.

 

"Bonjour là, mon bon monsieur. Mon nom est Sky et c'est mon Rosey date très spéciale."

 

"Vous parlez français?!"

 

"Oui. Maintenant que je peux commander l'apéritif spécial du soir."

 

"Bien sûr! Il sera fait tout de suite Sky Monsieur."

 

The waiter seem excited to meet somepony who spoke french and treated Sky with the utmost respect and diligence for it...

 

 

Translation:

"Hello there my good sir. My name is Sky and this is my very special date Rosey."

 

"You speak french?!"

 

"Yes. Now may I order the tonight's special appetizer."

 

"Of course! It will be done right away Mister Sky."

"It's okay, the food really does taste great." She ate her food slowly, wiping her face after every few bites. The food she was eating was truly delicious, mashed potatoes, roasted carrots, and even fried chicken. She felt bad to eat other animals from the same planet, but when life gave you food, you eat it. It was a simple survival phrase, and it helped her get over eating meat.

Quip finished up his plate abnormally quickly, he wiped his face off with a napkin and hadn't noticed how much food was actually on his face, "Oh gosh, i must have looked like a pig" he hung his head down, he looked at his plate and then back to Bumble, "I'm not usually like this around other ponies, i guess your just... special, i feel like you won't judge me if i do something wrong"

"I never knew you knew French Sky, that's so awesome! What else can you do?" she asked as she looked at Sky.

 

Rosey was a little bit thirsty so she quickly went over to take some punch from the table.

"Nah, I guess it's okay, but you should work on it," Bumble replied. She was actually quite...disturbed by the scene, but she thought that Quip could change it if he focused. "I think we should move away from here for now, should we head outside to the garden?"

After Rosey came back from the punch bowl, he answered.

 

"That is for me to know and you to find out."

 

Sky said with a big grin on his face, but he was quite happy about how well everything was going so far...

"Sure, i needed some fresh air anyway" he got up from his seat and slightly bit on his lower lip, Perfect, i probably screwed up everything, good going brain, eat everything as fast as you can, that's a perfect idea! Quip sighed and swayed his head lightly, "Look, i don't blame you if you think i'm weird, cause i know i am. I'm a total screw up and its inexcusable"

Rosey took a sip of punch and said "I can't wait to find out.." as she gently placed the cup on the table.

 

"Do you have any plans for tomorrow? Maybe we can have some coffee together.." she said confidently hoping he'd say yes.

"Like I said, all you need to do is fix it and you'll be fine. Really, it's no big problem, and there is no need to make a fuss about it." Bumble looked over the balcony, and the sight made her catch her breath. The scenery across the part of Equestria she could see from where she stood was quite astonishing, and Princess Luna had managed quite well with setting up the night.
