Worst Pony? (Most Evil)

So, I know that one of the more common questions between bronies and pegasisters alike is the obligatory: "Who's the best pony?" I however thought that perhaps the reverse should be considered as well. So my question to you is who is the worst, most evil, most diabolical pony (or nonpony) in all of Equestria? Tell us why your antagonist (or protagonist!) is the most evil of all!

I personally hate snips and snails. They aren't really evil, but their fanboy-ness irritates me. Also, they brought that ursa major in ponyville

Trixie, because overblown egos make Bluebell want to punch the person (or pony) in question. Made even worse by bronies worshiping her for her ego. She is not a pleasant or nice pony to be around!

Evil because see seem like the tip that would use her dads money to hurt others and I hate her becuase she that lieing tip of pony that walks around with a snoby look on her face.I hate SNOBY!!

Flim and Flam. They deliberately tried to take over the cider that was produced in the town (and many towns previously and future ones) which would inherently be akin to taking over the apple industry in due time and thus destroying Applejack's family business. Monopolization is one of the biggest evils to ever grace the lives of people today.

Well to me, worst pony and most evil are 2 totally different things- Snips and Snails are absolute worst ponies, and Chrysalis is most evil(yet she's a totally awesome 'pony' imo).

I think I woul go with silver spoon, I mean diamond tiara in bad, but silver spoon blindly follows her arround whilst being just as stuck up as she is.

 

She never once thinks for herself, at least diamond tiara almost successfully ran the school paper !

I see your point, but don't you think it's kind of a good thing becuase the opposite of that is people with no opinion,also i can see Flim and Flam being evil because industry is corrupt like that.

Point taken. But many of the opinion feel like someone is just sniveling that "Pony A is so much better than Pony B because....." or "Pony A is worst pony since I don't like the character" it doesn't really feel like a legitimate opinion but someone just spouting off hate on a character. I'm not saying they don't have the right nor should they be quiet; by all means say what you will. I just dislike the bickering it usually produces more often than when people spout out "worst pony is (Fill in character you hate/despise)"

Indeed I did find that many people interpreted worst to refer their least favorite of the ponies, instead of what I had originally intended which which was more of a who's your favorite bad guy type thread. However, I don't necessarily see this as a bad thing. While it does create some pointless bickering, I find that it allows us to introduce viewpoints and aspects of characters' personalities that may not have been taken into consideration. Many people are hesitant to acknowledge their favorite character's shortcomings or their least favorite character's accomplishments. I find that when you keep an open mind, theses kinds of threads can help us to appreciate our beloved ponies from alternate perspectives and enjoy their carefully crafted personalities to new depths. Personally, I hate when shows create characters that don't have a good balance of strengths and flaws, as they often come across as flat and uninteresting. "Perfect heroes" are unable to be related to and are unable to develop over the course of the story, while completely evil villains with no redeeming qualities seem very two-dimensional and prevent a certain level of immersion in the plot. More moderate characters who the audience can identify with and understand tend to be more compelling and better overall. Edited August 10, 2012 by flutterbreeze

I know this thread is for worst "pony" I guess I would have to choose (*diamond tiara*) on impulse... But for me the only character of the show that I detested was Gilda (Sorry to any gilda fans) At first I loved her design, I meant a eagle/lion mix how awesome is that! But as the episode with her continued... I became feed up with her personality. I enjoyed mostly all the other characters of the show except for her.

Alrighty I'm gonna rate all the antagonists from most evil to least.

 

1) Gilda: she's just a big bitchy bird. Hands down. Theres no reason behind it, she's a bully, and that's just awful. I know it isn't as earth shaking as the other antagonist's actions were, but it's just a fact that she doesn't have any damn reason, and I can't even think of one for her. Im sure if she had the same amount of power Nightmare Moon or another antagonist had, the world would be in ruins.

2) Chrysalis: is second because her actions were taken in orde to help her subjects survive, I suppose. But she's still pretty damn evil. And did some effed up things by disguising as Cadence.

3) Discord: I put him third because I almost see him as a child trapped in an ancient creature's body, and that makes me feel sorry for him. I feel like maybe there was a part of his childhood that was missing (friendship?) and that's why he became a God of anti-harmony.

4) Trixie: she's just full of herself, but I think it could just be due to her own insecurities.

5) The Diamond Dogs: not so much evil as they just have a really bad approach on things. They sort of just wanted to get their job done. It didn't seem like they HATED Rarity though.

6) Nightmare Moon: it's just a sad story. If your sibling you grew up with and loved dearly didn't understand your dreams and sent you to the moon for a thousand years for it, you'd turn into a monster too. She was more misunderstood than anything, I think

 

Edit: Diamond Tiara is either up there with Gilda or where Trixie is. But yet again, she's still only a filly.
