writing Autumn

--READ WINTER FIRST--

A plump grape falls, she let's out an "oomph!" as she hits the dirt. She is shocked by the sudden change in scenery. She was pleasantly napping when her stem suddenly snapped. She blinks several times with the dirt in her eyes. Being a grape, she couldn't rub her eyes to get out the dirt. "Autuuuumn!" comes a shout from above. It was Autumn's mother, worried for her daughter.

"Mom!" yells Autumn. But it was before her mother could reply when Autumn was swept away.

Autumn falls unconscious.

 

When she awakes, she's on small platform.

By surveying her surroundings, Autumn sees a red apple, and a yellow banana beside her on the platform.

Autumn starts to cry.

She has been taken away from her mother, the only family she has known, and she dosen't have any hope for returning.

"Uwa!" comes a shout from an apple beside her.

Autumn blinks suddenly then looks to the apple.

"Ohauah, hi..I'm Autumn.."

"And I'm March. " replies the apple.

"B-b-but...Where are we?" Autumn looks around her again, shaken by the new surroundings.

"I-i don't know...I'm worried about my son, Winter...He's only 3 months old.."

Autumn notices his sad face, and thinks about trying to cheer him up...But she knows something is going to happen to prevent anyone from returning home..

A...thing walks into the room.

The...thing has white...specks? Upon it's head. It has a strange thing in it's hand.

Autumn attempts to roll off the platform, but it would be suicide. But she can't risk her life with the thing. She forces herself to roll of the platform, but the thing grabs her.

It pumps the metallic tool into her.

The thing throws Autumn down onto the platform. Autumn feels like she could explode. Perhaps that's what she was doing.

It didn't matter anymore, I'll never see my mom again, she thinks to herself.

As her eyesight fades, Autumn sees the apple being picked up by the strange metallic tool.

Then the bannana, rudely awakened starts shouting profanities. They are ignored by the thing.

Her eyesight fades, and she can barely move.

"Mom.....!"

"Please, god above, if you're real, like mom always said, please, help me!"

Her voice is unable to move anymore. Her eyes close.

"Mom..."

Inb4 these stories are the works of a troll, who wants to evoke our mixed reactions, and then sit back and watch as we all argue over whose interpretation is accurate, when really there's no intented symbolism at all!

 

Winter was written with no real intended symbolism, but Autumn was written because my friends like the bitter ending and asked me to write a sequel, so I kept the depressing ending but made it ten times more depressing.

Autumn is just sorta my least favorite thing ever.

Summer is my favorite because it's not as depressing.
