ooc The Chambers (The living prison)

Far in the future, the great Chamber prison was created to house the worst the world had to offer.

'The Chambers' was the first of its kind; a living prison, capable of changing itself to contain the criminals inside. Indestructible, the inside of the prison remained untouched by the passage of time, but the world outside continued to be a mystery to all those inside.

The large metal walls and twisting corridors proved impossible to escape from. The convict numbers grew, and so did their power.

The prisoners grew restless, tore at the walls and attacked the guards. They never stood a chance.

The AI, in a last ditch effort, permanently sealed all exits, condemning all those inside to an eternity of solitude.

With no guards to regulate them, the convicts started their own brand of law and order. Executions were regular punishments, and gangs ran much of the 'government' (Dark Knight Rises style, for reference).

In this world it is a daily struggle for supplies, power, and survival.

You are one of these convicts; trapped in here until the end of time, or are you?

Based far in the future, can you survive my prison?

 

(This is the beginning of the Wasteland world, and is an experiment on how I'm going to be running this show. I will be playing as 'The Chamber' AI, meaning I can change your world to make your life easier or harder; it all depends on how you play the game.)

 

Factions:

The Gangers (The various gangs that run The Chamber. They don't have a lot of supplies and are constantly in danger from other gangs, but they have a lot of persuasion with the Runners and a lot of firepower.)

The Yard (The general population of the prison. No distinguishing bonuses, but dangerous when upset.)

Runners (The traders of the prison and know a lot about the layout. They have extensive knowledge of the prison layout and good supply flow, but earning their respect can be tough and can make you be seen as a kiss-ass by most of the Yard [Which is very dangerous])

Red (A single, quiet, non-violent man. He's known to be able to get things that even most runners can't get, he's viewed in high-regard by most, but he's hated by the Runners and has a very strict no-nonsense policy.)

Peace-giver (+5 Yard respect, -10 Ganger respect, +0 Runner respect, +15 Red respect.)

Mobster [Automatically start in a gang.] (+0 Yard respect, +15 Ganger respect, +5 Runner respect, -5 Red respect.)

Trader (-10 Yard respect, +0 Ganger respect, +15 Runner respect, +0 Red respect.)

Tunnel Rat (-5 Yard respect, -5 Ganger respect, +10 Runner respect, +10 Red respect.)

Rules:

#1: No Spamming, obviously.

#2: You can communicate and interact with other players, but they have to agree to it first.

#3: You can die, the choices you make will decide if/when/how.

#4: You cannot retake choices once they're made.

#5: What I say as the AI isn't against you, it's just me being the character.

#6: This is a pony based RP, you should also include your race and a link to your character's thread (For conveniences sake.)

#7: Have fun.

Yes, that is correct. Just remember to be careful with your choices, they can prove to be dangerous if wrong.

What a shame too, I was really looking forward to this. D'Oh well, I guess that's that.

I cant garantee anything but i'll try my best. Great idea by the way. I want my caracter to be a mobster but will he be the leader of the gang? I also want his skills to be Speach, small guns and hacking.

 

No, you start off as a small-time lacky, then work your way up if you really want to be a big shot in the Gangs.

And please do your best to help, the things I have planned are quite wonderful.

hey, Writer before you start this roleplay make sure that DJ-DASH3 and Krylonguard still wanna be in it. It has been a while since they signed up for this roleplay?

 

Krylon is still wanting to go (He said so in the Message I sent out), but I have yet to receive word from DJ-Dash3, so that's why I'm still looking for that last person (At least 5 to start).

 

Thus begins the painful wait for that last person so I can get this fucking SHOW ON THE ROAD!

Im a little confused is the wastelands in or outside of the prison? Can you also give me am example of what you mean by diffrent worlds.

 

The different setting that the Wasteland has affected.

Cold Northern countries, the big-cities of Manehattan, etc.

The Prison is just part of the Wasteland world, a single setting in this big, scary universe.

 

I will totally try to get into this if I have time, because it makes me think of "I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream", which makes me a very happy panda.

Huh, I really like that observation. Maybe I should apply more of that into the story...

Nevertheless, I'm hoping you do eventually decide to pop into the Wasteland world.
