Medical staff immediately came to escort the ponies to a room which they can stay at for the moment. Before the doctors took Octavinyl to the Intensive Care Unit she hugged Lapis and started crying, "Thank you so much for carrying me all the way here Lapis." she said to him as she gave him a warm smile. She blushed and looked down, "Well I have something that I've wanted to say to you earlier so here it goes... Lapis I think that I really like y-" she was cut off when the medical staff carried her to the Intensive Care Unit.

Take my knifes, Said Flame taking the stick out of his mouth, holding out his two curved daggers and Taking a quick rest before flying one of the ponies to the ground, We need to go so your first. he said Grabbing on to the unicorn and flying him to the ground, he grimaced at the pain but as soon as the landed he flew up to get the other pony.

He hugged around the pony's waists and flew to the ground, the second Flames feet touched the earht he collapsed.

"Your welcome." Lapis said, blushing fiercely. He took a deep breath and recomposed himself once more. Whatever she had meant by that, they'd have to talk about it later. Meanwhile, Misty walked up the the desk full of herself. "Did you guys see that? I knocked their faces in!" Lapis frowned at the cocky mare. When the medical staff came to bring to where her leg could be examine, she didn't resist. The satisfaction of victory distracted her and she let them take her away. Lapis let out a sigh. Yesterday had started out normal. Now strange ponies were roaming the streets of Ponyville. He'd seen them with his own eyes when Misty was fighting them.

''Okay.. Now the damn place is packed.'' Splinter said. ''Stab. Stab. Stab.'' Splinter said while killing a nurse silently. ''That nurse didn't give me my lollipop.'' Splinter whispered harshly.

Fae arrived at Starbolt's house. She saw one of the mutated ponies climbing the window. She used her magic and several roots pulled the pony back out of the window. The roots dragged the pony into the bushes.

Starbolt turned around to see the disfigured pony get pulled out. She knew Fae was there. "Thanks Fae." She called out.

Starbolt and Fae left the house. Starbolt brought with her her saddlebag of potions and a knife. As they walked outside Starbolt saw a Flame Dancer from yesterday carry a pony down and collapse. Starbolt also saw another of the creatures run at the three ponies. Starbolt fired a blast of frost magic and the disfigured mutated pony was frozen solid. Starbolt ran up next to them. "You ponies okay?" She asked the group.

Fae trailed behind Starbolt making sure none of those things attacked from behind.

[The Razor Wing 879]

As the day went on Razor stayed by Diehards side. He had to sedate him so he would stop screaming. Oh man how could this happen? And what were those things? I hope everyone else is safe. As he looks at his brother he sees his leg is healing its self. What in the world is going on here? Diehard was in a state of fever and was sweating but his body was so cold. Computer. Show me whats going on outside. Right away Razor. As he looks at the screens he sees some of those things that bit his brother and some of the others. He sends out a message on the radios in town. This is razor wing. I am in a safe house outside of ponyvill. It is safe here. I have food, meds,and weapons. If there is anyone out there looking for shelter i can help you. Be careful my friends. I think this is only the beginning.

 

Back in Canterlot Surge heard the transmission Razor put out. Ok the boys are safe at home. I just hope he put the house on lock down.

Flame came too, he looked up and saw a pony standing above him, S-Startbolt ? He said slowly sitting up, Ugg. He groaned and put his hoof on his shoulder, Almost immediately he pulled his hoof away and look at the wound, It was very deep and still a very bad gash but hurt much less and it had stopped bleeding as much as it was before.

How strange. He said.

"Are you alright?" She asked him seeing his wound. Several infected started take notice of them and moved in their direction. "We should get moving, those things are coming." She said seeing the infected move closer.

'Ugh...My head...and legs...and just about everywhere........Where?....Wha...?'

Emerald Blaze lay on his back,

'I appear to be quite badly injured'

He noted with a sigh, eventually looking a his legs.

Large patches of fur were discoloured with blood,

'That'll be my why it hurt then....'

Just above his left back hoof, there was a deep gash, slowly bleeding out. He tried to look around, noticing that his vision grew blurry whenever he moved to much,

'I should probably do something about that cut....'

He pulled a couple of plastic sandwich wraps out of his jacket with his magic, then, wincing slightly, bound the cut in them tightly.

Feeling a bit better now his blood was no longer pouring out of his body, Emerald sat up, noticing a various array of small scratches all over him.

"Heh, I bet I look just like that corps-y dude right now...Uh? Is that...Yeah, my good ol' Buck-Knife, Oh...That's not so good.."

He could now see he was still in the park, shrouded in fairly thick fog, surrounded by multiple figures, all dragging themselves around. He picked up the tiny blade next to him and tried to assess the situation so he could get back to the main part of town unnoticed....

After a short minute contemplating deep, thoughtful things,

"You know what, to hay with this! If I just....got it!"

He surrounded himself in a greenish aura and charged straight through the crowd, sending several flying out of the way, stunning and winding them, they soon began to chase though.....

Uh y-yea, I just... never mind lets get moving. He said slowly standing up, We need to get to the hospital so we can help everyone get to that safe house. Flame picked up a long stick from the ground and used it as a crutch. Lets go. He said limping towards the hospital.

Starbolt followed Flame Dance. One of the infected tried to attack them, but Starbolt fired a bolt of electricity stunning the infected long enough for them to get some distance.

 

Fae cast a spell and several spore pods grew behind them as they walked.

Thanks. said flame turning to look at Starbolt, His eyes widened. What...who is that ? He said pointing at Fae. Wait, Is-is that Fae ? the one you were talking about yesterday, who saw all these monsters before they came into pony ville ?

With the many ponies heading towards the Ponyville Hospital so did the infected, following them so they may hunt them down.

Meanwhile after a few hours Octavinyl was fully bandaged up, though due to the strange regeneration the doctors said that the stitches may cause the wound to be unable to heal correctly. They just bandaged her up instead and they had her put in a bedroom for patients in the time being. Due to the current disaster, anyone may visit Octavinyl.

'Now is the time', thought the mutated Air Opal, now closing in on Ponyville after the others. He looked around and spotted a pony. His horn glowed as he forced wind to push her towards him, and there was no escape. As she drew closer, he jumped and smothered her in pony blood. And that was only one...

 

Earth heard the chaos above him, and boy was he scared. Cowered in the the corner, where he could not be seen, he silently continued to dig.

Starbolt nodded. "Yes this is Fae." She said to Flame Dancer. Another infected came from behind, the infected stumbled on one of Fae's spore pods. The pod exploded releasing a cloud of pollen. The infected pony walked around in circles then collapsed. "We better hurry before more show up." She said.

Finally arriving at the town square, breathing hard after his little run and the exertion of magic, Emerald slumped against a building nearby,

"Phew, those guys sure aren't friendly, they still after me?"

He checked behind him, noticing that the diseased creatures were no longer following, he let out a sigh of slight-rejoice.

Looking across the street he noticed the town hospital, in front of it, swarms of the beasts were massing outside, blocking off the doors.

He could see several ponies inside that seemed to be fairly normal...

"The one day I could do with actually getting in there, it's being overrun by creeps, typical..."

Noticing a pony next to him that didn't appear to be infected, he called out to it....Then a blur whipped past it, leaving it on the floor, dead and slowly rising...

"My li'l knife is gonna be sooo useful here!"

He said sarcastically, aiming it at one of the higher up windows on the hospital..

"Heh, this is gonna be epic..."

He smiled slightly and shot the blade forward, getting it lodged in the window, not shattering it.

He proceeded to create a small, thin line of pure aura and began to pull himself up it, over the masses.'

Earth Opal watched in horror as a thing appeared in his hole. He knew he had his magic, but it was not good for killing purposes. An idea then dawned. He backed up as far and fast as he could as his horn went into action. Part of the ground in front of him started to glow as it lifted rapidly below the monster. He huffed then cringed in disgust as the sound from the mutant's body was crushed between earth. It was time to get out. Digging as quickly as he could, he appeared onto the flat surface of Ponyville. Luckily non of the strange evil ponies seemed to be focused on him, so he galloped toward a group of a few ponies, at least two, and stopped in front of them. He needed to be with other ponies if he was to be safe.

The hospital came into view. There were multiple infected blocking the entrance door to the hospital. Starbolt noticed a pony climbing up to one of the windows with what looks like a magical rope. She knew he wasn't infected and made sure to leave him out of the radius of her next spell. Starbolt concentrated and etched a runic symbol on the ground a few meters away from the infected. The rune was faint and if you didn't know it was there it would be unnoticeable. She knew this rune marking somewhat well, it stood for 'freeze'. "Stand back." She told Flame Dancer as she threw a rock at the group of infected. "Hey! Over here!" She yelled at them. The infected turned and began to run towards Starbolt.

 

Fae saw a unicorn stop next to Starbolt, he was dangerously close to the rune she cast. Fae summoned an vine and pulled Earth Opal back away from the rune and the incoming infected.

Earth was immediately surrounded by a vine as he was pulled away. Perhaps these were also mutants? But then he realized he had been pulled away from something on the ground, a type of symbol, perhaps some kind of spell?

Starbolt was still to busy with her spell to notice the pony Fae pulled back with a vine. The infected came shambling into the rune. The rune activated and a white flash surrounded most of the infected. The flash cleared and the ones that were hit were now frozen solid. There were a few stragglers and began to run towards Starbolt. "Uh... Fae stop them, the rune took a lot of my magic." She said.

 

Fae released Earth Opal and several roots held the rest of the infected in place. Slowly the roots pulled the infected ponies into the earth and in a few seconds they were completely underground.

Its nice to meet you Fae. Flame said to the little fairy.

What Are You Doing ? He asked Starbolt in an exasperated voice. That will lead them right a-. He noticed the rune. Ooooh, I get it. He said watching the monsters slowly walk onto the rune.

Earth Opal used a little more of his magic to harden to soil that the monsters were buried in. It never hurt to make sure they stayed. Turning to the small fairy that had pulled him away from the rune, he thanked her and turned toward the remaining mutants in sight.

"Okay...I din't think this through properly."

Emerald was hanging outside a window, quite high up on the hospital building, above a large group of infected beings.

"Hmm...Actually.....good thing I'm half-decent at levitation."

He lifted one of the beings from the floor, noticing the fact that it seemed to be frozen.

"And this is why I don't buy nice things!"

He grunted as he jumped up slightly, throwing the being through the window, completely shattering it and lacerating the body so badly it resembled a piece of cheese....Grated...

"Well that wasn't the best solution ever, guess it worked though."

He said as he collapsed the aura rope and swung into the room beyond, carefully moving around the infected and kicking it back out where it had come from.

"Hey! You, out there!"

He called out to a group of ponies standing near some pretty complex looking runes, occasionally freezing or zapping a beast if it got too close,

"Get up here!"

He shouted, throwing a bundle of ropes that were hanging nearby to the stranded ponies.
