Starbolt realized she fell a sleep. She got up, she felt better her magic seemed to be returning. She remembered about her saddlebag. She pulled out a potion Fae made and drank it. Starbolt felt a rush of magic as she drank half of the potion. She looked around and there was nopony nearby. Fae was by the window looking out for any of the infected. "Fae, where did they go." She asked her.

Fae turned. 'Somewhere in the hospital.' She replied.

Starbolt turned and walked down the corridor looking for anypony.

(OOC: First, sorry for just an OOC post but I don't have time for anything else right now, I will edit this post later. I was just meaning to ask if you guys could maybe wait until Ruby arrives at the hospital before doing anything big? If not, that is fine with me. I have a hard time keeping up with this RP but I think it is really fun so I want to try!)

 

Ruby quickly made her way over the rooftops of the city, using her wings to make it easier for her to jump. Yes, she was not good at flying, but she still had wings. The fog had made the material on the roofs quite slippery, but she managed to keep her balance fairly well. It wasn't long before she could see the hospital emerging from the fog. She made a relieved sigh, but don't say hi before you crossed the river.

 

Suddenly before her, a creature made of grotesque, rotten parts stood before her. It turned its head just the moment she landed on the roof, and made a wicked grin against her and jumped towards her. With her eyes widened in shock, her heart in her throat and adrenaline pumping through her veins, Ruby swung the spear-like decoration she was holding in her mouth to try to stop the monster for approaching her. She barely did any damage, but she managed to get the creature to stop attacking - but it had caused a wound over the left part on her face. With another hit, aimed at its legs, Ruby managed to get the creature to fall of the building with a roar. Hoping no pony were down there, Ruby continued in a hurry to get to the hospital, the blood slipping from her wound.

"Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, OW! Uhh....Stupid stairs..."

Emerald Blaze lay at the bottom of a flight of steps, each one had a slight indentation where he had hit them as he fell.

"Why? Why have stairs....In a hospital, full of ponies and things, that Can't walk!?"

He pulled himself to his hooves,

'Huh, I better go find someone who works here....That li'l cut on my leg has gone a bit of an odd colour....'

He began to walk forward, trying to find something that was living, although not trying to eat him,

He turned towards a passageway, seeing two, roughly pony-shaped silhouettes standing in the flickering light,

'They appear to be talking...Monstery things can't talk...Can they..? I'll see if they're friendly....'

Pulling the tiny blade from in his jacket with his teeth, slowly advancing....

 

(OOC: I should be nearing Drizzle and Flame now...I think...)

After Octavinyl found a map of Ponyville that included all of the landmarks, she made scavenging missions for certain buildings and estimated the safety of the mission by seeing how far the building was from the hospital. She then saw Lapis and and Misty come in, "Oh hey L-Lapis, hey Misty how are you guys? What? Splinter didn't do anything to us, why?" she replied as she continued back to her work.

Starbolt walked through the corridor. She saw two ponies talking. She walked towards them. "Hello?" She called out.

 

Fae saw a bunch of infected walking around outside the hospital. They didn't take notice of the ponies in the hospital yet.

Flame turned around and saw Starbolt walking towards them. Shhhh. He said gesturing for Starbolt to walk over. I just heard the sound of hoofs or something coming from down the hall, I just want to be careful in case its one of those things. He quietly said to Starbolt.

Starbolt nodded as she prepared a frost spell. "Don't worry, I'll freeze it if it attacks us." She reassured Flame Dancer. She recognized Drizzle as the pony she bumped into in the town square. "Drizzle. It's me Starbolt." She said hoping he remembered her.

As Earth Opal gathered as much energy as possible during his rest, he now stood up to hear Flame Dancer speaking of something, possibly one of those monsters, might be trotting around downstairs. The things were now rally getting on his nerves, and he just nodded his head to the news even though Starbolt and Flame Dancer weren't really paying attention to him.

"I was just worry about you two." Lapis began whispering again. "I don't trust Splinter. He did kill those ponies. Best we keep an eye on him." Misty waved a hoof in front of Splinter's face. "Hey you, wake up. Why the hay are you staring into space?" she said angrily. Lapis looked over at Misty then back to the mares. "I thought Misty could prove useful. She's not very cooperative, and she will most likely leave us to die if given the option, but she seems like a fighter. If Splinter tries anything, Misty would end up tackling him. I think it's because she'd take any opportunity to get in a fight. Do you think it was a bad idea?" he asked, not sure if it was his best of plans.

 

(SilverHeart, if you want, you should control Octavinyl. Or we could just wait for Octavinyl to get back.))

Shock went over Octavinyl's face, "Did you say that Splinter killed ponies?! Are you saying he actually killed innocent ponies?!" she asked as she started to panic, seeming that a serial killer was in the room with them she nearly fell out of her wheelchair.

"Well, for the time being, he seems like he isn't going to do anything. It would best if we left him here." Lapis realized that he had inadvertently upset the two mares and thought it best they leave the Main Office. Misty wasn't paying attention, completely focused on trying to get Splinter to react. Lapis sighed when he realized that she was being an odd pony. Well, Misty seemed contained at the very least. He'd might as well just leave her here. "I don't feel safe here anyway. We should really look for supplies. Food, weapons, and medical stuff."

"If nopony minds then I'll be in charge temporarily until the election starts." Octavinyl replied to Lapis after trying to calm down from how dangerous Splinter can be in this situation. She wheeled back to the desk and turned on the microphone. She began talking into the speaker, "Can everypony that is not injured and available please go to the main lobby. I repeat, can everypony that is not injured and available please go to the main lobby." she then turned it off and wheeled off to the door. Octavinyl turned back to Silver Heart and Lapis, "I think we should be heading to the lobby now." she added as she winked at Lapis and opened the door.

Silver Heart set the scalpels and bleach back into her saddlebags and carried them with her as she followed Lapis and Octavinyl through the door, making sure to keep her distance from Splinter. Silently she followed them down to the main floors lobby.

 

(OOC: I have to go register for my classes, if I'm not back by the time the voting begans just have Silver Heart vote for Octavinyl.)

Starbolt heard the announcement and headed to the main lobby. She waited for the rest of the ponies. Starbolt still saw Fae looking out the window. "Fae, what's happening outside?" She called her.

Fae flew towards Starbolt. 'The infected are gathering outside, I think they know we are in here.' Fae replied to Starbolt's question.

"I see." Starbolt said as she turned to see if any other ponies have arrived.

Lapis followed after Octavinyl, casting a backwards glance at Misty. The aggressive mare hadn't moved. Satisfied that things were under control for the moment, he headed for the lobby. Once there, he sat in one of the chair, looking around. The front door didn't seem barricaded well enough. Hopeful if those mutants attacked again, the fortifications would hold. It was perhaps not that bright an idea to lead the crazy mare who'd been doing an adequate job of guarding the entrance away from the lobby. Unlike Misty, Lapis wasn't confident in his abilities as a fighter. Lapis silently prayed that his decision to pit Misty against Splinter hadn't been a foolish one.

Octavinyl used the elevator to quickly get down to the main lobby. As she wheeled out of the elevator, she went straight to the center of the main lobby. "As far as I know I can see the current danger that we are in. We are safe inside this hospital for now, but we have to keep it safe ourselves. I've planned out some assignments that will help us fortify ourselves inside this hospital easier. I need one volunteer to be on lookout at the top of the roof." She said to everypony in the lobby.

Starbolt looked at Fae.

'Fine Starbolt, I can do that.' She replied.

"Fae could do the lookout on the roof. She could also warn me telepathically so it will be be easy to warn if the infected attack." She replied to Octavinyl.

Starbolt noticed a worried look on Lapis' face. "Lapis right? You seemed worried, are you okay?" She asked him rather concerned.

"Alright then I'll put you two in charge of lookout and security organization. I'll need you to manage putting barricades and putting up defenses okay? Silver Heart can you be my second in command if anything goes wrong? We may also need you to be in charge of taking care of the wounded. And Lapis can I put you in charge of scavenging for materials and useful items?" She said to them as she handed them her plans and assignments for the hospital. She then turned to Starbolt as she handed her a map of Ponyville, "I need you to notify me of any monsters in each direction of the hospital so our scavenging team may move around safely. Please have some ponies build barricades in and out of the hospital, but leave a few ways out for emergency and for supplies." she requested as she turned back to Lapis. "Listen Lapis, we are in this terrible mess and I shouldn't be telling you to do this, but can you take 5 ponies with you and grab plenty of walkie talkies and batteries at the electronics store west of this hospital? Take anything you need before you go." She said to him as she made eye contact with him for a few seconds. Octavinyl finally turned to Silver Heart and gave her the assignments for second in command, "You know more about this hospital than me so we'll have to stock up on any supllies we have here."

EDIT: (Wow. People don't seems to care about high-powered rifles around here...) Suddenly, an extremely loud shot rings out. It sounds like a sniper rifle, and it's coming from the roof. Soon after, everyone on the top floor hears: "AHAHAHAHA! Keep your head down next time! Oh, zere von't be a next time. Never mind."

Lapis nodded. He understood what had to be done. Lapis liked how Octavinyl was taking charge. "Now, I'm going to need volunteers. It should be easy to get Misty to help, maybe. But I'll still need 4 more ponies. Who'd like to help?" He looked around to see if anypony raised a hoof. It might end up being a suicide mission, but he had to try. They'd probably need those electronics.

"Barricades? What kind? I could provide some magical defense, but I'm not skilled in construction." She replied to Octavinyl. Starbolt took a potion made by Fae and drank the other half of the potion. She should be able to cast several runes. "Fae, go and set some spores around the perimeter." She told Fae.

Fae flew out of the window and started using her magic to spout several spore pods around the key entrances of the hospital.

Starbolt turned to Lapis. "Don't worry I'll make sure they won't get inside." She reassured him.

"Alright then I'll put Silver Heart in charge, worry abouy the safety of the hospital Starbolt. Let's start fortifying the hospital with any furniture on the main floor. Let's hurry everypony, move like you want to survive!" She said to them as she then turned back to Lapis. "I think this scavenging mission seems like a death sentence for you to go out there with some ponies, but I will only accept volunteers to go. I won't force you to go on this mission if you don't want to go." Octavinyl added as she started looking out the window. She nearly threw up at the sight of all the undead coming towards the hospital. She had the thought of being brutally attack again by those monsters and she felt a surge in her heart just thinking about it. As she started breathing heavily she remembered if she doesn't stay calm then she may put everypony's life at risk. Afterwards she slapped herself to pull herself together as she went back to work.

Starbolt turned to Octavinyl. "Fae and I volunteer for the scavenging operation, we can keep the infected away from the group." She told Octavinyl.

"I could use my magic to make several runes around the hospital." She added.

 

Fae flew a little to close to an infected pony. The pony tried to grab Fae as she flew by. Fae dodged the pony's grab and a spore pod that she just grew released it's contents. The infected pony stumbled and fell to the ground unconscious.
