Yeah,but I don't want his hair to look similar to certain anime characters,either.

I'm no good at art, so I can't do all that much to help you. Just think about what sort of personality your OC has. If he/she is neat and orderly, then their hair will most likely be the same. If he/she is a bit of a slob, then his/her hair will be messy and unkempt.
