Was thinking more "let me entertain you" but sure; its one of the better known songs from The Police; been a LOT of years since I listened to/thought of them though.

I’ve seen Infinity War and Engame along with some Spider-Man movies. I’ve also seen Ant Man and the Wasp but not the original. I’ve also seen Black Panther but I forgot if that’s Marvel or DC.

Black Panther is Marvel silly  . After all they’re in Infinity War/Endgame  . They’re epic movies. Wish I was more into it from the start, although maybe I don’t care that much anymore about them  . I suppose if I wanted to start watching a bunch I’d start with finishing Iron Man then the Thor movies.

Mostly chapter books, but there are a number of web comics I follow too. The Peter Grant books by Aaronovitch got me back into more supernatural novels; John Logsdon's aren't as good, but there are a LOT more of them, so kept me busy for a while, and then there is more classic Scifi like McCaffery or Cherryh...

Anyone else here say romance is their least favorite genre? I feel like most portrayal of couples are really dumb and unrealistic. It’s hard to find a couple in media like books or TV that I actually sympathize with if they’re in a purely romantic setting.

Picked up some new books in a new (to me) genre - paranormal cozy mysteries - and it seems like they are firmly aimed at the mature female market - every last one has a romantic subplot with a ruggedly handsome character as the foil to the smart and talented female murder-solving sluth...

Ok, I get it - if it were an action movie, it would just be reversed, but I would really welcome at least ONE where the formula isn't like a steel cage around the plot....

Indeed. Anime and its fanservice is worse though.

Hard to find anything that doesn't have at least a romantic subplot and/or characters hooking up though. Even MLP has several, and an explicit pretty-princess normie wedding at the end of S2

That seems to happen a lot with drama shows, too. Eventually, all the characters start dating somebody

then there is paranormal/superpower scope creep - in any show/story/bookseries with a mix of humans and "supers", all the humans eventually become "supers" or were always "supers" but didn't know it....
