BUAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Thanks for reminding me why I put up with you mortals.

You make me laugh.

Not all minds can cope well with eternal life. Few mortals, if made immortal, will keep their minds over the aeons.

Pfft, sanity is overrated! Besides I've been doing rather well, and I'm immortal!

It's okay, Questioner. This is a safe place, don't be afraid to tell us what you really feel!

I don't just mean descending into insanity, but as in totally degading the mind, until there isn't enough left to be insane.

You are an exception.

That only happens to the weak! People who are strong do fine! Besides, most people only need a few... adjustments, and they stay sane. Mostly sane. Sane enough.

I don't like adjusting minds, there are side effects too often.

Besides, if I were with one person for all eternity.... I'd get bored.

And can change the person too much. I prefer to leave it at that.

No idea, and yes, we are. But nothing lasts forever, except me.

You're spouting a lot of horsecrap today.  We both know that omnipotence only goes so far. Someday, you'll eventually run into someone more omnipotent then you are. I ran into you, for instance.

Perhaps I will.

Doesn't mean that being will kill me, just as I have not killed you.

In an infinite multi-universe, there are an infinite number of beings. The probability that one of those beings has both the means and desire to kill you is 100%, since there are an infinite number of beings. And, since you are immortal, you have an infinite amount of time in which to encounter this being. So, the probability that you will eventually encounter something that can and will kill you is 100%. Immortality is a pipe dream.

Yep. Them's the breaks. Immortality is only a guarantee that time won't be the thing to destroy you.

See, that infinite number of beings doesn't mean that you will encounter a more powerful being, infinity is too big.

And it's not actually infinite at all.

After attempting to ruin the relationship of the new couple, he turned to an old friend; a lonely Dalek who had been exiled from his own world for understanding friendship.

The Dalek quickly went to work, setting up traps to destroy the actor, but spare the lady.

After several attempts to destroy the stunt double man, Q's heart grew cold once more. Frost grew in his wounded heart and chilled it to its core.

Q had finally realized that he had so much power, and that his power wasn't enough to win his love back.

He disappeared for many years after that, clearly heartbroken and still reeling from his defeat.

You lie. You've already said that you will die someday.

He has already died once before. He may not remember or even know about it, but I am the reason he is alive today. Well, at least in this timeline

Exactly. Infinity is too big. Remember, since you're immortal, you have an infinite amount of time to encounter something that can and will kill you. An infinite amount of time means it will happen, eventually.

And it's not actually infinite at all.

Don't be silly! Of course it is!

A grand act, a grand scheme.

All for a few moments of amusement

Don't be silly! Of course it is!

Infinity is no more than a concept. Nothing is infinite, merely large enough to be impossible to comprehend.

So, am I going to be the quickest one of us to "expire"?

No. I'll put my money on Wilfre dying first.

Now you're just trying to win the argument.  :toldya: The multi-universe isby definition, infinite. You know this as well as I
