There's been enough of that, lately. A squabble with another member is hardly a reason to bail when there's so many other members around.

I'm sorry that I seem extremely fake to you. I brought up the assumption that you're jealous because, nothing forced you to rant about me, so what else am I to blame it on, did I force you to rant about me?

I am genuine toward everything in what I write, I seem over exaggerated because I actually am that way, I'm not fake, I'm being the person I really am.

 

And I just said, "I'm that type of person," because I am and that was a way of implying that I'm not fake. Right now I'm not typing all bubbly and giddy-like because I'm slightly agitated by your assumptions. Which insult me. This truly makes me feel like...leaving the site, I mean, who knows the next time I'm going to annoy you. Or make you mad. I apologize.

 

Doing anything on any website that has other users puts you up for chance of making people upset. It just happens. Again, don't go letting one person out of the billions on the planet affect you. Also, I guess I kind of channeled my anger towards you because, well, I just don't understand you. At all. (not that I really understand anyone) I've been not so happy recently (which is really weird in itself) and you were just an innocent victim, really. So for that, I'm going to apologise. I don't even understand what in the heck got into me. What Crispy said, though, is right. I kind of took out the "art" in this "art thread". So again, my apologies for that.

I'm happy to see that the argument that took place in this thread has been resolved peaceably. It greatly saddens me to see members attacking other members of this site. We are all members of the same community, and we should always extend the benefit of the doubt before we assume bad intentions and try to drag others into the dirt. With that said, I would like to address a few things.

In the future, if you have questions for another member, please send them via private message. But before you write a harsh post or private message, please remember to love and tolerate. The purpose of art threads is to allow members to receive feedback on their art, not for them to receive unprompted attacks.

 

Furthermore, the way that an artist chooses to respond to the feedback that they receive is completely and totally inconsequential so long as it does not break the rules. Everyone on this site is welcome to create an art thread, exhibit their work, and respond to comments in their own way. If you don't like the way that a member does something, then you are welcome to avoid their threads.

On behalf of of everyone in the staff, I apologize that you had to endure this attack. However, do not feel as though you need to leave this site to avoid the conflicts. You have tools that you can use in this kind of situation to keep things from escalating. In the future, if a member attacks you like this please make a report immediately.

 

It doesn't matter whether the attack occurs in a private message or in a thread - you can report their member profile as well as a post. We actually have a really nice guide on reporting that you can read to pick up on how the system works. If someone is harassing you in any way, then make a report so that we know about the issues and can deal with it. Don't feel as though you have to personally respond to those that attack you. That is what the staff is here for. Let us take care of it.

 

You should always report rather than respond to attacks. You don't need to worry about getting others in trouble when they might've just been having a bad day. The staff will carefully weigh everything that has happened before deciding on a course of action. In other words, we always reach for the pen and paper before we reach for the hammer.

 

When one member attacks another, it is just like the entire community is beating itself. No one benefits and everyone that comes across the conflict is upset. Just reading through the posts in this thread, I found myself actually becoming quite saddened. Let's all work together in the future to not let things spiral out of control like this. The report button exists for a reason and the staff is not the Big Bad Wolf. We are here to help.

I'm rather fond of the color choice and mane design on Honey Lemon, I must say; the eye color contrasts very nicely with that of the hair and mane. I'm also quite fond of the cutiemark, though I honestly have no idea what special talent it is meant to represent.

I loved her! They're both adorable and awesome! Maybe too cute! Okay seriously though, nice job, I love what you did with the hair and the fact that the horn on lemon is twisted. I don't think any of the unicorns on show have their horn twisted like that. Over all you made her look not only cute but stylish, it's pretty awesome. XD

Honey Puff's efforts of trying to get help are ultimately futile as Honey Lemon comes off as a very sweet and innocent mare, effectively manipulating other ponies into believing so, and doubles her efforts of making her younger sister's life a living hell afterwards.
