Maven grunted an affirmation; she had thought he'd stay for a breakfast-type meal. She poured herself a cup of coffee and thought for a while, eventually deciding that she would, in fact, eat breakfast. She got a box of doughnuts down, when she found them, and ate.

Nightfall got to the station, and saw that his saddlebag was near the entrance, along with his holster and guns. Still, he saw the air vent was open. He climbed through to the armory, and grabbed a couple of swords and some machine guns. Then he went back and grabbed a couple of captain's uniforms and some undercover clothes. He got back to his saddlebag (with an extra saddlebag), stuffed all of it in, put on the gear, and ran back to Delphina's house.

Wits once gain made a call on his radio.

"Captain Nightfall, come in. I need back up immediately. I am facing two entities of extradimensional origin and unknown power. In other words, two big 'uns." He slowly approached the door, loading his gun and carefully approaching, trying to suss out as much information as possible without alerting them to his presence.

Nightfall was almost back when he got the radio. The saddlebags, extra guns, and swords gave him a big momentum, so it took him a bit to stop.

"Roger. Location needed. I've got some things that may help..."

He looked around him. Wits could be in any of these buildings...

Delphina was eatting the highly nutritional breakfast of doughnuts and and coffee and staring at an empty seat. Part of her wanted to jump out the window and do her job. The other part was hoping for another knock on the door. She was confused and didn't know what to do.

"We are living it up in the Hotel Coltifornia," Wits said, quietly and backing away. "I'll need that help as soon as possible, I'll meet you in the lobby." He started to head down the stairs quickly and went towards the lobby, looking for his support once there.

"Is it a lovely place?" He joked. He looked around for some hotel like the one Wits had just mentioned. He traveled only a bit before seeing a wrecked sign that said Hotel Coltiforn--. Nightfall suspected the other two letters had been knock off somehow, so he went into the lobby, his machine guns hitting his sides.

"If only I knew Delphina's phone number..."

"I smell pony." Rugby said, sniffing the air.

 

"Then we should leave." Said Seiryu.

 

 

 

"And who do you suggest that we pay off?" The unicorn asked, "what pony responds to money and not fear?" He shifted through the dirt for no particular reason when he spoke, making little eye contact.

"Ponies are much more willing and correspondent, makes it all the bunch easier to make allies" he said, still holding out his hoof, he smelled something nearby, and no, it wasn't the stinky garbage coming from the alley way. This smell was very... pony like, but there was also a small hint of gunpowder... "We need to hurry this up, i smell guns..."

"Yeah, but we're all out of wine," said Wits, and beckoned him up the stairs.

 

"I followed the trail here. There is a TON of power, leaking out everywhere. They used a spell earlier, and I'm getting the hang of their aural patterns. Given time, I can probably lock them down, but I'm not strong enough to distract them for that long. I just need you to fight them off until I can stop them."

 

((I hope this works. We have too many villains and not enough heroes.))

On the table in front of her was a radio; this was what she'd been looking at for the last 30 minutes or so. She turned it over in her hooves and pressed on of the buttons,"Does this thing work?" She asked into the receiver. Maybe Nightfall had been planning on coming back, but had been attacked or something...

Cherry Blossom wiped the tears off of her face and smiled at Den, but she pointed the gun back at Den as she recovered. "Just get out of my face." she said to him as she started flying back to where Wits End was at. Sour Blossom was feeling eager to start fighting somepony, but Cherry Blossom had gone into a silent stage at the moment.

Rugby bounded down the stairs toward the Hotel loby. He recognized Wits speaking to Nightfall on the stairs, and he held his football above his head. "Cheating the Demon World, penalty one death!" The giant attempted to throw the ball, but before he could do anything, he was covered in a sheet of ice.

 

"He didn't deserve the pleasure of ending your life." Seiryu said. He walked behind Rugby and kicked him, causing the frozen beast to shatter into dozens of chunks of ice and flesh. "That pleasure is reserved for Rando."

"Fine then, we will leave." The unicorn agreed, "You lead the way, as I do not know this city well." He was not truly afraid of ponies and guns, they could not harm him, but he did want to see where the wolf would lead him. He had yet to be impressed by Manehattan, but there was still many places to see.

He nodded and started to walk back to his apartment, being careful of any ponies near them. "The safest place currently would be my apartment, nopony other than my roommate know where i live" he looked around the corner and continued on, so far nopony had confronted them, they were about half a block away from the unused hotel by now.

Cherry Blossom came back to her senses and looked back at Den. "I'm so sorry Den, I just wanted to shoot you so badly and I just couldn't take control of it." she implied as a gulty look went over her face, but she put on the tactical goggles so he wouldn't see.

Den started to say, "It's okay," and then what she said registered. "Wait, you really DID want to shoot me? What'd I do? Is it my staying at your house?" His head was spinning, trying to think of what he'd done wrong. He thought it might be that he'd woke up on her bed, "Was it this morning? I really am sorry I woke up in your bed, but it was just so... Soft."

"Yeah, it works. I'm busy right now.. did you expect me to come right back, because if you did, I'm sorry... Wits called..."

He then swung on of the machine guns at the demon.

"Another one? I was hoping they were all gone. We got rid of some of your friends, and I would hate to have to kill you too. Get out of this world."

She squeed, forgetting to turn off the radio, "I finally got my own! Woops!" She took her hoof off the button and clipped it onto her cloak. She grinned excited and jumped out the window. She didn't have to go to far; just follow the sound of gunshots to Nightfall and criminals.

"No, me and Sour Blossom are just one pony, but that pony is me... It was my body and I should've been able to control it. I wanted to shoot you, but I didn't want to shoot you. Do you get it or not?" Cherry Blossom replied to him as she turned around and kept flying away to the destination.

Den shook his head, "You are two ponies in one body. You were one once, but because of jerks in school, you became two to protect yourself. That's how I understand it. Anyways, try not to think about it to much. We'll work though Sour Blossom's anger at a different time."

"That about sums it all up." She said shyly as she kept flying, but she turned around again and thought about his foreleg she had just shot. "Well... When Sour Blossom pulled out the gun on you, it felt like I was controlling it willingly to shoot you, but I'm not sure what's happening... Nightfall turned to Wits.

"Was that so bad? I'm out, man."

He jumped out into the streets. He felt like running everywhere solving crime. And he ran through the streets, looking for stuff to do. With all the empty buildings, he burst through many doors. Closer to Delphina's apartment, he burst through a door to find some criminals with guns. He shot at all of them with his machine gun. Turns out, quickly he had downed them all.
