"I had to suspend Den for unnecessary force after the demon thing, and now Cherry Blossom is running amuck. We need somebody on the scene, but we're stretched a little thing. You busy? There's a... wolf pony... in the police station, and I don't really trust him."

 

He was looking at Magneus. "Yeah. He's a bad 'un. There's gonna be a fight. Let me get the coordinates for Blossom."

"Seriously, please stop insulting me. Honestly, I've done something I completely regret already this week, and your insults make me feel worse about what I've done. So, to get this straight, I must train more?"

He was confused, hurt both physically and emotionally, and tired.

 

(Jack is slightly based off of a character that said things like that to motivate her pupils. Nightfall isn't supposed to take it seriously)

 

"There are plenty of ponies like Rando in this city who will make you stronger." Jack said, "But for today, I want to go over a few basics. Hopefully, I can show you something before we're interrupted. Hold out one hoof in front of your face."

Cherry was getting too close to those foals for Patches' comfort. He formed two blue energy bombs in his front hoofs and jumped at Cherry with all of his anger. "Grizzly Claw Double, you monster!"

Cherry Blossom immediately turned around and stopped his attack with her tooves. She growled at her attacker and her hooves were bleeding from the blue energy bombs. Though she tried to push him off balance with all of her strength, but after that, she would rip out his heart, just like the others.

Den cursed, and made his auric bindings grab Patches and set him down away from Cherry. He had his aura brush Patches enough to send him a message; "Don't kill her."

 

 

Maven nodded and went inside. Normally she would've said something about the talk of death, but she was honestly tired, and wrapped up in her own thoughts. She went inside, into the kitchen for some odd reason. She new she wasn't the best cook, but she still flipped through the food in there.

 

Sapphire stood from behind her desk, "Uh, Wits, sir, I can go! I have a ton of brownies, and I've eaten and slept, so my magic is ready to go. And there's nothing going around in here. Not even a party. Seriously," she looked around frowning, "It's all gloomy in here. No life at all."

Wits frowned. "I'd be happier sending you with a partner... but all right. Just try and hold her off 'til Nightfall can get to the scene. If he hasn't arrived within the hour, radio me and I'll come down and assist. This is a magical malady, and you need to treat it as such. Get her back her, knocked out, and we'll isolate her and see what we can do about it. Until then, do not dispatch her, and above all BE CAREFUL." He handed her a gun. "And take this. These are hard times."

Magneus looked over at the detective and sighed, how long is this going to take... "Hey uh, if something is going on i can help, not like i have anything to do otherwise" he raised a paw to draw attention. "Honestly i don't see how they count me as a villain, i'm more of a... Discord, i do what i want because its fun"

Wits looked at him. "Discord was a dark eldritch god of such powerful magic that not even Celestia could touch him. You are a pony who can turn into a wolf. I could take myself. But have you even done any crimes? Just fill out the forms and we can get you registered. Heck, get registered as a vigilante and have some fun taking down villains, and then you can have a support team when some criminal shoots you on your flank." Wits started typing on the computer. "Here, I'll pull up the forms right now."

Patches did not know that it was Den who was trying to stop him. All he knew was that if someone was trying to protect Cherry after what she'd just done, that pony was a monster too. He recharged his hoofs and went in for another attack. The only thing he could think about was the doctor. And that hatred made him stronger.

It was weird that Patches was trying to attack Cherry Blossom while they were in a delicate room. Though that didn't bother Cherry Blossom one bit and she continued her assault against Patches. She tried to hold him and then smash him into the ground. After that, she would try to pull out his organs after opening his torso.

Sapphire grinned and magically took the gun, skipping out into the streets, humming. She angled towards the hospital, skipping as fast as she could.

 

Den cursed again, Patches was still attacking. He turned the bindings on Cherry, tightening them and restricting her movement. When Patches touched one Den sent another message; "Killing her would not look good to the officer who's at the front door."

It was time for Patches To try something new. He placed one of his lower legs on Cherry's chest and created the same energy effect as the Grizzly Claw. If anything, it should at least push her out of the room. If he was lucky, the fight would end then. This time he was thinking about Den. His anger at him was almost as bad as the doctor. How dare he abandon the hospital after it was attacked! He left these foals for dead!

Magneus raised a brow and sighed, "I meant Discord as in... agh nevermind, i'll just fill out the forms..." he walked over to the computer and changed back into a pony, starting to fill out the forms himself. "Okay so, what now. Do i carry the form around with me, or do i get some sort of licence?"

Wits looked over. "Not usually filled out in crayon... but it works." He looked up. "There's a small training session, stressing mild ethics and teaching you how to avoid lethal force when possible. I'll see if we can allocate an officer, to it. Hang out here for just a bit longer."

Cherry Blossomwas pushed out of the room, but she quickly got up and ran back into Patches with full speed. She was beginning to get even angrier at this pony and she was determined to make sure he dies. Cherry Blossom jumped and did a flip as she tried to pounce him.

Sapphire walked into the hospital and gasped. There was blood everywhere. She loaded the gun and holstered it just in case and went to the security room. She could see where the demonized form of Cherry was fighting... Oh no. She tried to block what she saw from Den, but it was too late. He'd seen it through her own eyes in his spirit state; he hadn't known how bad it was. In his apartment, he opened a safe. Inside was a bone necklace with a matching crown. He tenderly put on the armament of his ancestors, making sure to properly apply the warpaint. Sapphire was trying desperately to reason with him, using his job as a beating stick, but he was on his way already. He pocketed a note on his door for later, breifly reading the contents. His expression hardened, Wits or Nightfall were going to see this.

If cherry Blossom hadn't chosen to increase the amount of time she was in the air by flipping like a show pony, Patches would have been in trouble. Instead, he was given just enough time to turn around and buck at her face with his powered up hind legs.

Cherry Blossom fell to the floor when she was bucked in the face by Patches. She got back and started flying back at him again, but she was going to tackle from below him. The beast-like mare roared as she approached her enemy, or rather, her little prey.

Patches tried to block with his front hoofs. The Grizzly Claw was taking a lot of his energy. Even with the enhancements the doctor had given him, he was getting tired. However, he refused to allow himself to die in such a manner. He showed no sign of the exhaustion he was feeling.

Cherry Blossom then tried to push him down with her hooves, by grabbing his and forcing them down. She kept growling as she tried to pushed him down, but it seemed that Patches was very sturdy and balance. Nothing motivated her more than fresh blood smeared along the walls of the hospital.

Sapphire realized she couldn't disuay hime in person, so she teleported him to her. To late did she realize how bad of an idea that was. After a few moments of disorrientation, Den ran into the hospital with a strong sense of deja vu. He saw Cherry Blossom trying to overpower Patches and tackled her. "Cherry Blossom, this isn't you!" he yelled at her, holding her down. His bone necklace rattled and his facepaint made him look slightly like a ghost. His eyes turn blue as he tapped into his spirit energy. His voice layered with a kind of magic called mesmer (Artemis Fowl. Same princaple) "You do not want to hurt anypony. You do not want to eat hearts. Your name is Cherry Blossom. You are an officer in the police force. You have a life that does not include killing."

Just when he thought his will was broken, an enormous wave of blue energy shot from the base of his Grizzly Claw. He didn't know what it was, and he didn't like it, because if it didn't kill Cherry, it would leave him completely draned of magical energy. "What... The hell was that?"

"I'm not fighting in the pain I'm in. No way. Honestly, it is getting hard to stand. Maybe later, but I will not fight right now."

Nightfall started limping back into the cottage, thinking about resting, taking pain killers, and Maven. He hoped that he would be fine tomorrow, but was conflicted about the battle he had blacked out in.

Cherry Blossom was smashed against the floor when Den and Patches counterattacked at the same time. Her eyes brightly shined red and she growled at Den and headbutted him. She was extremely furious at Den, but this time she pushed him back and tried to choke him to death again.

Maven sighed, having made some coffee and sat down. She watched Nightfall come in, limping. "Hey, you okay?" she asked, getting to her hooves and walking slowly to his side, "Where does it hurt?"

 

Den growled back and his features shimmered a bit. He brought his back foot up and got back on top, and started trying to choke her back. Blue mist started bleeding off of him, and he looked up at Patches, his eyes still blue, "Go, leave now."

 

Sapphire raced after Den, hoping to settle down the action. She walked in and saw Den choking Cherry. Should would've been shocked if she hadn't known his intentions.
