A very interesting, er, thing. You say you don't want to multirole? Makes sense, but you may want to use him as a backup character. I mean, if your character that you are planning on using dies, you can use this one instead.

I would like to roleplay as him. But do u mind if i change most of his bio? I have some great ideas for him.

And as for your other oc, he's much better i find. But knowing Equestrian scholar i think you might need to add a bit more detail.

Hello everyone I have read through everything that has been posted and I must say there has been some interesting comments and I even saw a few good ideas. Liked a lot of what was said involving the Cult of Laughter, though like always the biggest reveal of all will be that the Laughing Mare.

On Bios I have approved Descant's OCs and will be going over SonicAlicorn's OC and TheMaster's OC. Silverpoint345 will also be looked over though I can already say the OC will need a proper pony name.

I personally doubt that some forms of the units in each section will be playable. For example, the Cadaver Carousels, the Smiling Dolls and the Hydras from Everfree, just to list some offhand. They just seem OP. I bet that Scholar will control such units.

The Laughing Dead are zombies, and essentially mindless bodies given 'life' and controlled by necromancers. The Smiling Dolls I think are actually still very much alive, but are being 'punished' by having their eyes taken out and replaced by button eyes. Their body is physically altered and their mouths sewn shut... likely a very painful thing indeed. Perhaps it can even be said it is partly because they are in great physical (and psychological) pain and agony that they seek out others for comfort. They want to have somepony to be close to them but they see any pony they hug hurt... I would call it a fate worst then death and they are likely kept alive by the same magic used to bring about the Laughing Dead.

Poucher is more of a profession and not a pony name, it would be like giving Applejack the name Farmer, or giving a pony the name Librarian, Builder, Guard, exc.

TheSonicAlicorn, I enjoyed reading your bio. You did well and you created amazing and believable reasoning for Jade to hate the Cult of Laughter. Though a small thing to note is that for Jade's mother to have become a Smiling Doll... she would have had to be a member of the Cult of Laughter or at least working closely with them and at one point tried to turn away from or betraying the cult. Those are the conditions for a pony to be made into a Smiling Doll, being a traitor. Which also bring into question Jade's father, of though he may not have been a member he would possibly have had a connection with the cult. Lastly, Jade was lucky to get out of her house alive... even more so with so little injures. By all accounts she should have died or at least been badly injured as Smiling Dolls are fast, if I remember correctly faster then most ponies.

 

Also, Jade isn't exactly a pony name, or more not by itself... for one because no pony has only a single syllable making up their name. They normally have three syllables in their name, sometimes two or four syllable. Not only that but from what I have seen ponies normally have a name that connects to their Special Talent, skills, interest, or even appearance. The name isn't a big thing though, and all in all I can't really see much to complain or worry about when it comes to your OC. Though one question is which of the Houses does your character even loosely support, or is she without a House? (P.S. None-unicorns can join House Moon and Star, and while pegasus and earth ponies are often treated as lesser not all the unicorns of the House would treat them badly.)

(I know only a bit about the Master when he made an appearance during the time the tenth Doctor first discovered him. There there was the whole plotline of 'taking over the world'. The Drums of War.

I understand that it's not exactly the best pony name, but don't some people have strange names too? I don't want to argue, but I like her name, and I'd rather not change it, if that's okay with you. If I must change it though, then I will, but I'd like to be sure I can't keep it the same first. What if I added a last name? And am I the only person who finds it bizarre that the parents name their kids based on their cutie mark when nobody knows what the cutie mark going to be?

 

I thought Mythos was based on The Master because of their source of power; The Master found a pocketwatch at a young age, and it cursed him with images reminding him of what he was - A Timelord. Also, they both lost the only accepting woman of them in their state of insanity, but it was for different reasons, and The Master didn't care.

Smiling Dolls have buttons for eyes. I'm not sure they can see at all.

 

You might make it more of a disinterest at being treated as simply a lower class citizen as to why she's not in Moon and Star, or have circumastances dictate which House she goes to, rather than just choosing and traveling. Descant, for example, had no intention for joining House Whitegold originally. He was going to join the rebels in Baltimare. And Rose Petal was kidnapped into the Everfree.

 

A last name would work perfectly in my opinion. That's how names work, really. Usually they're two words.

Remember Matilda is the Smiling Doll, trapped in agony and pain, going insane because of becoming one. I was simply thinking that part of her still recognized Jade, and she was both moving forward to seek comfort and holding herself back knowing she could hurt her daughter.

A word of warning, if Jade ever meets her mother again the Smiling Doll will attack without hesitation as at that point her mother would be completely lost in her endless pain and suffering. If any of the ponies I will be controlling are there with Jade when this happens they will likely tell her to kill the Smiling Doll that was once her mother... or tell her that they will do it if she doesn't.
