You know your posts don't always have to be long. In a simple conversation they can be short. There is a reason why they made the min char limit here to 75 instead of 100.

Actually I believe they do have to be long, and that being why it's an Advanced Roleplay as from what I saw you need at least 800 characters to make a post.

 

If 800 characters per post is too much I am sure I can talk to a moderator and get the roleplay moved.

800 characters really? Hmm... I suppose its fine for now i didn't know that was a rule. Sorry. It aint too much trouble for me though. I'm sure i can handle it.

You must have weird Chrome settings... Or different from mine. Sometimes it works for me on Chrome, other times, the limit doesn't appear.

You actually are able to see the limit? Do you know how? I've always wonder why it doesn't appear, yet in IE9 it is always there. And the number always appear on Youtube and stuff. Just not here.

... yet I am using Chrome myself and I can see the characters just fine. Though when i went to the roleplay I did have to go to Full Reply/Editor mode to get what I saw before: "Your post contains only 0 (I hadn't typed anything) characters, this board has a minimum of 800 characters per post."

Try using Chrome Cannary. Latest beta builds, they usually work better ot do not work at all. I use Cannary.

Anyhow, might i ask if iany sorts of humour is applied to the rp? Like well, slapstick or i dunno - gender bending.

I'm still waiting for someone to come outside with me. I know my OC isn't really the social type but i need to talk with someone. I was hoping Star would come out so we can meet with Twi. The front of the Castle is where Twi was gonna meet with us. And that includes Silver Swirl since in my latest post i said i wasn't the only one waiting there.

Yeah, I did find that a bit weird as I wasn't even aware of this guy's existence up until now. Seriously, who comes into a private and ADVANCED RP they've never even seen before and just posts? Some people eh?

Stuff like this happens. It's just new people, haven't read rules yet and considering how often we post for advanced RP, it's probably quite a curious thing. Nevertheless, i must wonder, how you people doing @*nickname*? I can't remember how to do that.

 

And i think i will reply to AnonBrony later, when Silver Swirl arrives... don't want to spam loads of massages left right and center. Because i can do that, i can post like 10-20 times a day if needed... Or alliteratively, we could just do a chat in PM and when just make one huge post... it's just, i really dont want to have loads of stuff for people to read. 

 

I'm kind of curious in the whole alicorn thing now. Veeeeery curious.

 

Also, the aura if you can feel it around Spell isn't just dark. It's cold, it's kind of alien. Through not sure if the last one can even be picked up, considering how alien magic can be.

I actually would have approved Selene, as I found her to be a very interesting character. It is admittingly a bit late now but if for whatever reason you wish to retire Spell Shock or she is killed (as is possible) you can bring in Selene. Or, another option, once we get started and we build momentum you may have her as a second character.

I reported the post to be removed as well as PMed the one that made it explaining what the problem was and what they would need to do if they wished to join.

 

Well that would actually work out, as it would be interesting and fun to have interaction between multiple characters. I will get together a post so we can continue.

 

On alicorns (more so lesser alicorn), the only reason they were approved is because they were detailed, reasonable,andnot over powered.

I hope Spell wont die. Why? Because she is still my staple character and well, how can i do SCIENCE with Selene? She's mute. But we will see, i wouldn't mind having her as second character, i flushed every problem with her since we last talked about her. 

 

And one thing about me, i always hated the "Alicorns are op" talk. You can play GOD and not be OP, if you good at RPing. As an example. I always found balanced alicorn characters to be interesting. I will watch closely.

 

And RPing large conversations via PM would be most convenient i think. One post is easier to find, when to scroll through pages, when it makes it to the RP itself.

That's the thing with Eternity. Magic doesn't "behave" the same way around him. Normal ponies probably wouldn't have sense scourge inside you. But things like that Eternity can feel naturally. Oh if Eternity and Tondrak were to ever meet Eternity would freak the hell out. All that Dark necromancy magic swirling around him.

 

As for the mention thing. the way i always do it is that you highlight the persons text you want to mention, then a box appears, you click "Mention" and then this little blurb of codin' appears. That's what makes the mention thing. You can copy and paste that and move if and stuff. That's how i always did it. I don't know any other way besides memorizing and typing what makes the mention thing.
