Yeah (if you don't see it theres discolouration on the wing tips)

So does anypony know a way to fix this?

Oh that stinks. I have heard good things about using a mister clean magic eraser to get rid of it. Try that first. Since it is only on the wings you can use some nail polish remover to get it off though be careful to not touch the cutie mark or eyes or hair with it. It will ruin them but the plastic body should be fine, just rinse it off after doing a few dabs with the remover. Good luck.

Edit: Ok I just looked up some cleaning methods and if the magic eraser doesnt work try acne cream with benzoyl peroxide after that. Leave it on for a few minutes then scrub and rinse. It may take one or two applications to get it off.

Thanks I'll try a couple of these to see if they work if not I'll just use dusty's suggestion and simply paint over it.

Going to look very weird to the staff of Sainsbury's (not sure if I spelled that correctly) to see a 15 year old boy buying nail polish remover.

Not sure where to get this magic eraser though.

From the Sainsburys mention, I'm guessing you're in the UK...? You can get the Magic Eraser from places like Poundland (presumably quite cheap, then), Poundstretcher, Wilkinsons and some supermarkets. I've seen them before, but I'd never considered using them for something like this...nice idea, StarStep. :)

I've always used nail polish remover for things like this (usually on WWE figures I've bought loose/cheap on eBay, which showed up with weird dirty marks). I was very wary of it at first (I thought I was being trolled by the people recommending it, and imagined all the paint would strip off), but it worked really well. You couldn't even tell any marks had ever been there...they look good as new.

Good luck! :)

ACETONE. ACETONE NOT NAILPOLISH REMOVER! I put this in caps because it is VERY not good to use plain nail polish remover. It one. Doesn't really work. And 2: damages the plastic because of the additives they put in nail polish removers. Acetone however will remove just about any surface stain that hasn't had time to sink in for a long time.

YES to the magic eraser, though usually this is best for surface dirt. Honestly, it's the pony collector's go-to tool for cleaning ponies, because they are eye and cutie mark safe! Make sure you use the REGULAR strength though, as there has been SOME contestation about whether the extra strength ones pull off symbols and eyes.

If neither of these two methods work, wrap her hair in tinfoil (since you want to protect it from fading) and scotch tape foil over her eyes and cutie mark, and leave her in your sunny sunny window for a few weeks. This will fade stains out of her plastic parts. This process is called "Sun Fading" in the collector community. Though acetone usually works. And no one's trolling when we say that the paint WILL STRIP OFF if you use it: cutie marks, eyes, WILL come off/smear if they come in contact with acetone, so make sure you use a q-tip or other EXTREMELY ABSORBENT media, like a paper towel to clean your problem areas. Drips are doom.

Good luck cleaning her!
