I'm writing a fanfic, I'm new to writing stories so can i get some help? mainly what i need to know is, do i start a new line when someone speaks?

What I would do to make sure is to look at the style of how other popular fan fic's are written and copy them

 

Although everyone's style is different, by doing this you make sure that your style fit's nicely and will be easily read by people and not confuse them
