Yup, that's what I've been doing this entire time… Preparing a long post! Yep! That's it exactly. I was definitely not clowning around in the Random Chat Thread and re-watching old episodes of Law and Order. Nope. Definitely not!

Okay, Trixie is in. I could only get her up to the door though. I hope that isn't a problem. I kind of wanted her to come into the front door like every other pony had done. Besides, I couldn't quite figure out a way to write her past Magicon and into the mansion without giving him a chance to react.

 

Also, sorry for the delay everyone. I kind of had a case of cold feet. What can I say, trying to think like Trixie isn't exactly second nature to me. I actually think that my Trixie post starts off a little rough before finally settling down a bit towards the middle. It really did take me a few moments to find my “voice”. No worries though, now that I'm in contact with my inner Trixie, the next Trixie post will not be so delayed.

Yeah, at the moment people should be at least acknowledging your presence. However, the fact people are ignoring you in favor of Trixie is somewhat of a good thing in this particular setting. Since we all know Trixie is going to be murdered, this gives you a good reason to start disliking her if she is stealing all the attention away from Clarity. Even if you end up not being the murderer, it will end up spicing up the story a bit.

 

As for acknowledgement that your character exists... I can edit my post a bit, as I had forgotten you were the one to burst in first, mostly because everyone else seemed to neglect that. (Also, this headache is really frustrating, and I'm not thinking too well still. ><) I'll go ahead and edit my post a bit to change that up to concur with your posts.

Just keep up with what you've got going on and you'll do just fine. :3

 

Also, it never hurts to add more to your OC if you wish. Give them a more unique personality that is distinct from the rest. I, for one, completely revamped my first OC, Klopp, with a complete re-write of his personality and backstory. Worked out for the better, as he is now at least ten times sillier than before. :3

 

I would say the only thing your OC needs right now is some proper art. She actually doesn't look bad at all for your average General Zoi's Pony Creator Pony, but it's always better to have an original drawing to separate the best OCs from the rest. :3

I suppose I should write more about Clarity. I gave her plenty of flaws so that she would have lots of character development in roleplays. But since I'm not good at art much, and the only thing I've drawn so far for MLP is an unfinished Applejack drawing which I pretty much just dumped now, I don't know how I'll get a good image for her. I'm still trying, though!

Naw, you'll get acknowledged later on. It's just your character is currently in a situation where everyone else is distracted by a rather boisterous and annoying performance pony. :3

 

The best way to get some interaction with others is to simply have your character go up and talk to them. They pretty much have to speak with yours, unless they want to make themselves look rather stupid and/or their characters look rude by not responding.

Oh no, no. The roleplayers here ain't so pro. Most of them are worse off than you as writers. For a first timer, you are doing extraordinarily well! Scatcoal, the owner of this RP, is also a newbie. It's just this RP is significantly more advanced than the others in RP World, so it may seem like everyone's really good or it's difficult.

 

Anyways, if you want, I'll give you some character art. I've done Electrobolt, Pearl, Bones... those are some samples of my work. (Ha, me getting myself into more requests! I'm too nice.)

 

I'll be posting after I eat dinner. Too hungry. @_@ Sorry it's taken me a while.

 

Also, will have Pearl interactions with Clarity and other new guests. Just haven't posted yet, that's why I haven't interacted. She always greets herself to everypony. She IS the host.
