Lightning Flicker looked at them both. Then she just turned back to the statue and closed her eyes. The time is coming, Chaos will reign as it should. And Celestia will have power over Equestria no longer! There was a hatred of Celestia behind her last sentence and it was obvious.

"Hmm i don't know i just want to check out a book for something." Despite Fluttershy being relaxed something was still chipping away at her.

 

 

Just then the shock from Rainbow Dash's Sonic Rainboom frightened Fluttershy "EEEP!" She said as she flew up into the air only to have her wings stiffen up again from fright and fall back into the hot tub. "Oh was that Rainbow Dash?" she questioned but knew the answer to it anyway i mean who else could unleash such a magnitude of that force "Maybe we should go see her first". she agreed.

"Hi Rainbo- bye Rainbow!" Pinkie waved eagerly as Rainbow passed, followed hotly by some unknown stallion. Twilight raised an eyebrow, wondering who it was who would be following her. She didn't recognize a pony that looked like that in town...

 

"Hey, who was that stallion that was following Rainbow? Do you know, Pinkie?"

 

"I don't know, that's the weird thing... Normally I know every new pony in town! I should go introduce myself!"

 

"Should we go after her?" Pinkie was already bouncing eager circles around Twilight, so that question was essentially answered already. Twilight sighed and smiled to herself. "I'm guessing that's a yes..."

 

"Of course it's a yes! Comeon Twilight, last one there's a bad cupcake!"

 

"Don't do that teleporty thing you usually do to catch up to ponies!" Twilight ignored the fact that she could also teleport, and the two mares trotted steadily in the direction they had seen Rainbow and her pursuer vanish. As they got back into town, they passed back by Twilight's library, where they happened upon Applejack.

Chaos Beaker sighed. He usually preferred staying anomynous until there was no other options. "Yeah, yeah.... I am Chaos Breaker. And yes, I did... 100,00 years ago. And..." He turned towards Lightning Flicker, "I would like it very much if you don't refer to my sister that way. Yes, she is a snob at times, but she is still a key force in balance. Which I am here to make sure stays even." He scowled. They wouldn't like whats coning next... "I cannot let Discord reign supreme over Equestria. It would upset the balance of the world and unleash the ancient demons that my sisters and I spent so long putting into Tartarus. I'm sorry, but... balance is balance." He prepared himself for retaliation from numerous locations.

Lightning Flicker went over the edge at that. "Celestia doesn't care about us! No one knows about anything. She sweeps all tragedy under the rug! Many, many ponies have gone missing and I've been the only one to notice! No one has been told to look into it! And when my brother and I were attacked by a creature and he died, no one heard about that! She doesn't care about any of it! She claims we have such wonderful peace and harmony! I have no peace! My back aches every day and at night, I dream about that incident every night! Every single night! Where's my peace?!"

"Ok lets go check out Rainbow Dash now!" Fluttershy said running out of the spa place. She and Rarity went out in search of the cyan pegasus starting in the general direction she and the mysterious stallion were racing over. While they walking they saw a weird thundercloud with a bunch of lightning streaks showing on the outside. It was defiantly an odd event she and Rarity were witnessing and it was scarring her "Wow that looks scary." Fluttershy said trembling.

Twilight wasn't a botanist- if anything, Applejack should have been the one to have that sort of information. "Why do you ask, AJ?"

 

"Ooooh!" Pinkie interrupted buoyantly. "I bet the trees have mad tree disease, or they're being scared by a tree thief, or Bloomburg's going through tree puberty and bullying the other trees, or-" Pinkie rambled on for a bit while Twilight sought out Applejack's gaze and rolled her eyes. Sometimes Pinkie could be a handful. "- And then I said oat-? Oh wait, I know! I bet it has something to do with my new Pinkie Sense!" Twilight nodded to herself. Now that was a sensible thought.

"Well I got this really really big one this morning, and I'm sure it means something important is about to happen. What if it's Nightmare Moon again? Spoooky!" Pinkie yelped suddenly and somehow managed to literally bury her head into the ground, quivering. Twilight stared blankly for a moment before putting her own thoughts into Applejack's problem.

 

"Well... between your trees and Pinkie's intuition I really wouldn't be surprised if something's amiss. The only problem is, we have to find what." Twilight ran through some scenarios in her head, a mere microsecond of thought spared to thoroughly consider them, but she couldn't come up with any satisfactory conclusions. "I think we'll have to do this the hard way, just hoof it and figure it out as we go along. Right?"

Rainbow Dash struted out of the hospital, police following her.

 

"Rainbow Dash! Get your flank in here now!" One yelled.

I'm not sure how well she would take the fact that you are unleashing Discord, unbalancing the world and... wait a minute......." He narrowed his eyes, gasped, and turned to face the Discord statue. It had cracks spreading from its center, and moving rapidly. The statue was reanimating, and that meant... he took three steps back. "Discord is a demon, even if he doesn't recognize me. You lured me here, where he could feed of my energy which means..." He growled and stepped back. Discord, you are gathering quite the sneaky following.

Even just having the Elements in the vicinity added to his strength, the hatred and bitterness in their hearts so deliciously poignant he could practically taste it. He growled and faced the elements. "Why are you siding with Chaos, anyways? And I don't want to hear your reason, Lightning. I've had enough of your tragic backstory."
