The sides of Goldie. On the left is who he is now: The heroic, confidant, and cunning soldier who we all know. Always a chipper lad and always willing to help his friends. On the right is who he could be....suffering from "Shell Shock" his mind is slowly going. The wars, the death, the blood. It's only a matter of time before he loses himself completely.

The Very Last One

post-8319-0-25777200-1411741145_thumb.jpg

"...When was it killed, the very last dodo bird

And was she aware she was the very last one

So I wonder this as life billows smoke inside my head

This little game where nothing is sure, oh,

Why would you play by the rules

Who did, you did, you

Who did, you did, you

You say who did, you did, you..."

Excerpt from Dave Matthews "Dodo"

I've been away for quite some time, and I'm very happy to see that you're still here Dimitri! How has life been treating you?

Very well actually! I have gotten married, and have inherited enough money to finally move to Iceland as my spouse and I have always wanted.

How you? :D

Really?!? That's awesome! You'll have to post pictures of Iceland when you get a chance. Sounds like you've hit the jackpot. :)

As for me, I'm doing fairly well. College is going smoothly (or as smoothly as one can hope for), and I'm just about done building a 3D printer. I'm currently waiting on a replacement part (which I should get this evening), but after that I should be in business

Everyone asking me that

I heard about those "3-D" printers. They sound strange.

Hah, I bet. It's a place that not a lot of people travel to, but everyone loves to look at.

And I've never heard anyone say that exactly, but I guess it could be considered strange. It's a wonderful machine for prototyping, making stuff, and creating useful stuff in general.

I'll post a thread when I'm all done and ready to print, and I'll probably take some requests/do some time lapse video.

So are you already in Iceland, or are you preparing to move there?

Well, is very interesting sounding! :D

I still in Alaska. We been prepping for several months for moving. I already have house picked out in Reykjavik. We just need to pack everything, hire the moving company to help travel overseas, and get my brother along with us.

Ah, I see. I'm pretty sure Reyjavik is the only place in Iceland that I've actually heard of before. :P Is your brother moving there too, or is he joining you just for the moving process?

I know couple more places, but Reykjavik is place that is best. Has all the basics, water, electrify, and all that my brother and Daniel need haha. :P

My brother is moving with us. I not want to leave him behind while we leave because he the reason I came to America in the first place. If it was not for my brother I would never have gotten married either, so I said he can live with us in the house. He very excited for it. :)

Dimitri as Talion the Gondorian ranger from the game "Middle-Earth: Shadows of Mordor" which is TOTALLY AWESOME GAME! I not a big video game player so this not much coming from me I guess, but this game is super fantastic and so much fun.

*Ahem*

Back to the piece, I spent really long time on this one. As with all of them, I think it could be better but that okay. I still think it look very good for how bad I am at art. Personally, I love the random engraved thing on his belt a lot, and I like the White Tree of Gondor I did. Hope is good enough :P
