Shadow kept running (skating?] until he got to the throne room. "This looks like the place." he says entering the room only to find Eggman with the princess. "Eggman!?" he says surprised. "Well fancy meeting you here. Now just what are you planning, and don't play games with me, Metal Sonic isn't here to save you this time." he said as his hands glowed with a green aura as if he was getting ready for a Chaos Spear.

Discord saw that Shadow was gonna use a chaos spear. He decided to mess with him "Uh-uh-uh, Shadow!" He said, snapping his fingers in his statue. Shadow's chaos energy disappeared, charging Discord up even more. He would still need the other emeralds to get free, but at least Shadow would be drained of his powers.

"What the hell?" Shadow says taking out his Chaos Emerald. "Dammit my emeralds been drained. Just what's going on here Eggman?" Shadow asks.

 

As Metal Sonic get close to the castle he sees Shadow through on of the windows. "So Shadow is here. Excellent." he says.

"What's happened? Oh my dear Shadow, that should be obvious. I drained you and your emerald of power!" A hologram of Discord appeared. "Now I can appear visually with your added power! So anyways, my name is Discord, the god of chaos. And I am here to help Sonic take over Equestria!" Discord laughed quietly to himself, knowing he was taking heat off the doctor. He turns to Tia and the Doctor. "Oh you two, do you really think you can stop me? DISCORD RULES! CELESTIA DROOLS!" Discord snapped his fingers, and his hologram disappeared.

"What, but that's not true! Sonic is a good guy. Robotnik is the one who's evil. Ask this metal guy, He said that him and a 'Metal Sonic' were built by Robotnik," Spike yelled at Celestia as the hologram dissapeared. "Besides, if Shadow was a bad guy he wouldn't have bothered meeting the princess!"

Sonic and RD moved about the ruined city looking for any ponies needing help. "You see anyone, RD?" Sonic asked to Rainbow Dash. "No, nothing yet. They gotta be underneath the rubble or something." Rainbow Dash said to Sonic.

 

Manic started looking around for some surviving ponys... As he was looking around he saw a diamond shop that was partly blown up... He couldn't resist so he went to the shop and picked up all the diamonds he could hold...

 

Manic: hahaha looks like Iv hit the jackpot!

 

Sonic heard his voice and looked to his right out of curiosity as he saw his brother standing there with a two handfuls of diamonds. "Oh, for the love of... Hang on, RD." Sonic said to Rainbow before dashing off to Manic. "Manic, we don't have time for that right now and besides, you know that's not yours, man." Sonic said to Manic in a very condoning tone. "What the hay are you doing?!" Rainbow exclaimed from behind and was speeding her way to Manic. Sonic stopped her in her tracks. "Whoa, chill RD. I got this, all right? He's my brother." Sonic said quickly to Rainbow Dash. Before Sonic could continue further, he heard some screams over in a crumbling building across to his right. "Sounds like someone is in mando trouble in there. Come on, guys. It's Juice and Jam time!" Sonic told the group around him before boosting off to the aid of the distressed with Rainbow Dash right behind Sonic.

Eggman was very elated at the turn of events that had just transpired, though it didn't show on his face.

 

"Little dragon... Please understand, I'm sure Sonic and his comrades seem like their good now. But it's only a front," Eggman walked towards Shadow. "And this one... He's possibly even more dangerous then the Sonic himself, allow me to show you his true nature..." He then brought up videos from the past showing Shadow using Chaos control to destroy human military opposition, and his race with Sonic to the ARK cannon, a weapon primed and ready to be fired at Möbius.

 

~Discord, tell Metal not to come here, it's far too hot to just show up with the Master Emerald, besides, that Emerald is for the main event, no need to show our firecrackers to the neighbors so soon. Also, it would be a wise Idea for him to take off with your statue prison as well, considering you just reveled that your are a part of this, I'd hate to see you resealed before you even get a chance to, spread your wings.~

 

"As you can see..." Eggman started, "This Hedgehog *points to Shadow* is obsessed with destruction, not ruling, letting him go would be a mistake, dear Princess, you can overpower him with your magic! I already have a special cell designed for him. We could also interrogate him, find out where Sonic plans to strike next, their obviously working together if they've come to try and discredit me..." He said while patting Spike's head. His glasses gleamed as he looked back at Shadow.

 

"Your path of destruction ends here, VILLIAN!" He points an accusatory finger at Shadow, "You will not hurt this land as you did Möbius!"

Celestia stood up, and, with a spell, restrained Shadow.

She turned to Robotnik. "Go.. get this cell ready."

Turning back to Shadow, she asked him,

"Why have you come here? I find it easier to think when both sides of the story are told..."

Luna was flying over Fillydelphia... a tear slid down her face. How could anyone this cruel? Destroying cities, killing ponies... Tia had told her evil like this had existed, but she didn't... she couldn't have... believed her. Until now. But... what's this? There were several figures on the ground, all with interesting shapes... and a flash of cyan blue... Rainbow Dash! She landed nearby. What was Rainbow Dash doing with the villains who did this? Discord connected to Metal Sonic's radio. "Metal Sonic, Discord here, abort the plan! The castle is too hot to bring the emerald in. Hide the Master Emerald, and lay low!" Discord communicated with Eggman through telepathy. "I have given the command to Metal Sonic. Be careful, Celestia is not fooled easily."

Eggman bowed to the princess. "Right away, your doing the right thing, princess Celestia..." He turned and walked toward his loft. Upon entering he took a seat right away, he then snapped his fingers, the chair was then taken down a very fast moving elevator-like shaft, the entrance to which closed up after Eggman went down.

 

Finally, Eggman reached the bottom, the doors opened to reveal an entire lab, resting in the mountain that Canterlot was built on. "Ahh... If it isn't my home away from home..." He said walking up to a table, taking a few disc shaped objects from off the top of it. ~So tell me Discord? Do you think now would be a good time to give Celestia... A well deserved hiatus from her stressful position as ruler?~ he thought to Discord as he walked up next to a dark, horse-shaped, silhouetted display. "It's high time we got the ball rolling and implement phase 3... Total and undisputed control over the search and capture of Sonic and his little friends! OoooooooohHoHoHoHoHoHo!!!!" Eggman laughed to himself as he grabbed a headband shaped object, as well as a gun of some sort. "This is going to be my favorite part of the story when I write the book on dimensional acquisition." Eggman laughed to himself as he turned to head back to where he came.

Knuckles wasn't sure of where he was, the dimension that Metal traveled through didn't have Metal in it anymore, yet Knuckles was still traveling through it.

 

"What's going on here?! Usually chaos control is immediate... If Shadow version is anything to go by..." The thought soon doned on Knuckles that he didn't have the power to control Chaos Emeralds.

"Wait... I'm not gonna stuck here forever am I?!" Knuckles was soon in a panic as he started to try and punch the walls of the dimensional tunnel "Let me OUTTA HERE!!!!" He yelled as he traveled further and further down the tunnel.

Once they're out of the way and you have the emeralds, I can break out and help you take down Tia!" Discord conjured up a chess table, playing with a clone of himself he made when he was bored.

As Sonic was speeding toward the building in front of him, he stopped in front of it to check for an easy way in without destabilizing the crippled building. "Dash, try and get in from a higher level and be careful going through." Sonic said to Rainbow Dash. "I'm on it!" Rainbow said as she flew around the building looking for a higher entry point. "Manic, try and lead any of the survivors we get out of the rubble away from here. Counting on ya, bro!" Sonic said to Manic before running off to the nearest crack at the base of the destroyed building.

On her way she was passing by Sugarcube Corner spotting Twilight talking to a mysterious figure that looked like a bipedal cat and Fluttershy could never seen anything like it. "Umm.....Excuse me Twilight and whoever you are im not interuppting anything important am i?" She asked Shyly.

 

Scootaloo & Sweetie Belle

While on their search for their Applebloom Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo started looking for the various places they usually hung out at like Sweet Apple Acres or the School yard and even the CMC clubhouse. "She's not here either?" Sweetie asked Scootaloo from below the tree house. "Thats a negative Sweetie." Scootaloo answered back. "And im all out of places where she might be." She hovered back down to the ground by her scooter. "Wait!!!" Sweetie exclaimed. "What is is?" Scootaloo asked. "Remember that zebra 'Zacora' maybe Appleblooms with her." Sweetie proposed. "I guess its worth checking out but i don't know if i want to go that far into the Everfree forest again......Remember the last time we ventured in there and we saw that creepy chicken lizard thingy that can turn things into stone?" Scootaloo shuddered from the memory. "What are you scared chicken?' Sweetie teased. "I AM NOT A CHICKEN!" Scootaloo shouted. "And im 10 times more braver than you are Sweetie!!" Scootaloo exclaimed. "Alright alright" Sweetie motioned her hooves towards Scootaloo to calm her down. "You know how i like to tease you." She giggled. "Yeah how could i forget?" Scootaloo said sarcastically. "Now lets go." Scootaloo said as she propelled her wings on her scooter making a noise similar to that of a motorcycle revving up dragging Sweetie Belle sitting in the wagon behind Scootaloo,

 

*In the Everfree Forest*

 

Scootaloo was zooming the various flora and fauna unable to shake off whatever terrible creatures may be lurking in the forest. She and Sweetie belle had been in searching through the forest a good 10 minutes. Everything was quiet until Sweetie Belle asked a question "Uhh i think we already passed that tree." Sweetie said as they passed by a familiar tree. "I think were lost!" Sweetie said. "We are not lost." Scootaloo said. She turned her head around to see Sweetie taking her eyes off the road. "I know completely where we are and where we are going." She defended unaware of a strange glowing rock her scooter went over throwing her off balance and making her and Sweetie Belle wreck.

 

"Uhhh sorry about that." Scootaloo said as she picked herself up virtually unharmed from the small wreck. "Urgh" Sweetie Belle Said as she came out of the bush she crashed in. "Watch where you're going you do-do." She then saw the eerie stone they had ran over. "Woah, what is that?" Sweetie said amazed by its appearance as it glowed a light blue hue laying among a few patched of poision joke. "I dunno," Scootaloo said "but it looks awkward almost as if it doesn't belong here." She said. "You're telling me." "We should take it with us" Sweetie Proposed. "Yeah ,maybe we could sell it back in Ponyville for a fortune and we'd be rich!" Scootaloo said. "Ok ok." Sweetie said "but first things first we must find Zecora place" Sweetie said.

 

And they continued their way towards Zecora place.

Discord felt a surge of chaos energy. Someone, somewhere, had just found an emerald. He focused, and then saw Sweetie Bell and Scootaloo in the everfree, with... "The emerald?" He said to himself. This was getting interesting. The ones who had freed him when those 6 ponies were around might be able to free him again.

Metal Sonic flies over Ponyville in search of the Elements. "Hmm these so called Elements of Harmony are close. A strong power signal is coming from that building over there" he says looking at SugarCube Corner. "I can't go forward with my plan unless these...ponies are destroyed." he says planning his attack.
