Shadow decided now was a good time as any to intervene between all the fighting. She had finally recovered her lost strength from the spell she had cast and now stood in the center of the room. "How about we make a deal, you allow us to do what we want, and no other ponys get hurt. If you do, then I am sure that most of you standing in the room tonight will live, however if you don't, the suffering will be long, and most of you will die." She said. A shadow had formed around her feet, and small parts were poking out, stabbing any pony who got to close.

Celestia gathered her magic power and focused it into the tip of her horn. "You fell once before Nova," she said, "You shall fall again!"

She released the energy built up in her horn directly at Nova. After she released the energy she looked around, "Guards get everypony out now! Skullkin I need your help!"

"Nobody here is moving an inch!" Butajiri yelled. He intended to have the spotlight for himself. He twirled his sword over his head like a baton. The noise it produced sounded like shouts if anguish muffled by echoes. It was literally painful to listen to. "The Shrill call of the Reaper! Cover your ears all you want, the sound will still seap through your skulls! It can steal the souls of anyone too weak to resist its call, and the weaker you are, the louder it is. I can barely hear a thing. Take that however you'd like."

Celestia looked around and saw the source of the voice, she was not in the mood to deal with this, "Put that away and get out," she said to it, "Or I will return you to wherever your species comes from!" The demon had a very effective disguise it almost fooled Celestia, normally she would not care what species her subjects were, but right now she did not have the time to be lenient with anyone or anything. She fired a warning shot just over the imp/pony's head to show it that she meant business.

Nova easily deflected the attack that Celestia had thrown at her "I guess I have my answer from you Celestia and that means that I get to have my fun." She laughed evily her dark magic released and cut down some ponies in a small radius of where she was standing. She conjured up more magic and released it summoning more undead ponies but this time they were completely obedient and started attacking the guests. Some ponies fought back while others ran for their lives "Ah nothing like the sound of screaming innocence and loss of hope as it's cut down right before them." Nova charged a powerful bolt of dark magic and sent it screaming towards Celestia.

 

Storm used his fire to strike down as many of the zombie ponies that he could as he kicked two in the chin with his back hooves as he saw Dash flying around shattering the zombie ponies into pieces. "Everypony you have to fight to survive don't just run stand and fight for your right to live!" Dash flew through the air trying to protect anypony that she could, she could see Shining Armor and Cadance doing there best to strike down any zombies they could. "Yeah nopony can keep up with me now all I've got to do is provide an opening for everypony so that they could escape." The idea was easy enough she would just have to hope that her friends would help to especially Twilight.

Hank looks at all the zombie ponies as he looks at rarity "your going to have to help us defeat them ok." He grabbed one that was about to hurt Rarity and slams it into the ground. He looks around as he ran to help the other ponies that were fleeing. He pulls out a knife with rope on it as the zombie ponies start to surround him. He spun it around slicing them all and once he stopped the zombies drop to the ground. While Hank fight he still had the color changing aura as he threw his knife at Nova

Butajiri lowered The banshee Shriek. "If it was possible, I'd go back myself. There's nothing I hate more than this place, but its almost impossible to create a Demon World portal the size of a blade of grass. I'm trapped here." He tilted his sword sideways in front of his nose, exposing the face carving to celestia. "As for what Nova is doing at the moment, I think it lacks in taste, but that doesn't matter. Are you going to help them?"

Applejack sneered.Who was she to comment on earth ponies?

 

"Hah! Y'know, if you kill me, who is the main tie of the apple family, you'll be lef' with no food! Nothin' to live on! It's the apple family oath: I one of us dies, the family refuses to giv' others food untill the murderer dies! So as you like it, if ya' kill any of mah family, we'll get word of it, and nopony will get a smack of ou' food! We're the main food source of ponyville! Ponyville will die without us, Appleoosa will also die, and basiclly many ponie' will be left starvin' without us! So sugar, I can do wha' I like, since you' don't DARE hurt me!" Applejack snorted, standing in front of Celestia again.

 

Rarity shreiked, That pony is scary! She summoned all of her willpower, all of her strength...

 

She summoned the powers from the earth. Countless gems from the Canterlot Mines we're thrown up out of nowhere, creating a huge fissure out of the ground. Rarites magic was sore, but she had plenty of sharp gems. She shot t all of her gems at Nova, then collapsing, almost falling into the fissure. The fissure led down toward the canterlot mines, and spit the ballroom into two.

 

Rarity couldn't do magic now, that cost all of her willpower. She just wanted to relax...

Butajiri regained his balance and looked at Rarity. "Great job." He said. "You broke the floor."

 

"Wait!" Rotto yelled as he pointed to Rarity and Applejack. "Those are two of the ones I told you about."

 

"Well now, this has turned out perfectly. Hirue, now you can eat them." Butajiri ordered.

 

Hirue spread his fingers apart and opened the mouths on the palms of his hands as he slithered toward Rarity, the easier one.

Hank looks at Rarity and gulps seeing Hirue slither at her as he pulls his knife back before it reaches Nova. He threw it around Hirue hoping to slow him down as he runs to Rarity grabbing her hoof and ran into the crowd not wanting to get Rarity hurt. He lets her on his back sighing as he watches Hirue "rarity darling are you ok?" He seemed tired from the running and carrying.

Nova saw what Hirue was doing out of the corner of her eye "Let them go Hirue I have special plans for all of the ones who weild the Elemants of Harmony." Nova turned her attention back to Celestia and fired a flurry of dark magic shots at her. The zombie ponies she had brought back were doing the job quite well but it was the ponies that wielded the Elemants and a few others like the orange pony who were holding there own. "Shadow I want you to take care of that orange pony, Butajiri make sure to keep an eye on the other ponies that use the Elemants we don't want them running off to get them not that it would do them much good." Nova spoke in the minds of her to commrades.

 

Storm continued burning down the zombies as they came at him but it was like trying to climb up a massive hill without any wings. He could see Cadance and Shining Armor fighting there way through tryinig to protect as many ponies as they could. Suddenly and idea formed in his head "Dash create a tornado and I'll use my fire when the zombies are inside." Storm took to the air. Dash started making small tornado's pulling multiple zombies into them and thankfully no pony else. She watched as Storm used his magic to cause flames to engulf the twister making it a flaming vortex. "Yeah that's right nopony threatens us, the Princess, or Equestria while we are around." Dash bolstered wondering how the others were doing in this fight.

Rarity and Hank had run out of sight, and the center of the room was beginning to catch flame. Hirue turned toward Applejack and crawled to her instead. Hanks nife lodged in his back, but he seemed to not mind. His blood was purple and it ran down his slimey back.

 

"Start running, mud pony!" Hirue demanded to Applejack. "I've done this plenty of times. They always run!"

Applejack looked as Rarity, and her weakened magic. And then she looked at the fissure. Dang, if she wanted to survive, hopping down there wasn't the best idea. But the only ones she got. She ran a bit, looked at Hank, and whispered to him:

 

"Trust me, sugar, I have a plan. As I carry out my plan, we'll be safe. But unless you wanna follow us, just get the buck out of canterlot."

 

She grabbed Rarity, pulled her over to the fissure in the blink of an eye, and shot a menacing glare at Hirue.

 

"I don't think you'll be able to catch me, unless you can fly."

 

Applejack hopped down the fissure, grabbing vines and snapping them as she fell to slow her fell. She saw a huge, thick, log at the bottom, hopped in there, and propelled it away. Ironically the log was quite durable, and barely made a crack. As a bonus, it was very cold, and the log easily slid down. After many twists and turns, a couple of 'YEE-HAW!'s, she began to wonder if she could find the way out.

 

Rarity, on the meanwhile, woke up. After Applejack jumped into that ridiuously thick log. No seriously, it was made of iron or something. That wood was ridiculously hard. She screamed at Applejack for jumping in here, but it was the only way. She couldn't use magic for a bit though.

Shadow watched at Applejack jumped into the whole and smiled as she jumped to, freefalling unlike Applejack had and landing on a shadow that had formed under her. She then proppedled the shadow forward searching for the orange pony, and now the whtie one, that had jumped down. "Come out where ever you are. I just wish to speak to you." She shouted though the caves as she continued to move.

Celestia noticed the one known now as "shadow" going after the wielders of the Elements of Harmony. She dove down and landed in front of Shadow, "YOU WILL NOT HARM THEM!" She raised her hooves, and stomped down. As she did this, a claymore conjured in front of the princess and began to descend towards Shadow's head.

Hank gulps as he needs to save his new found friends. He threw his knife into the ground as he used the rope to swing down into the hole hoping he wont be to late. Once he reaches the ground he pulls the knife out of the wall and sighs getting tired. He walks as he noticed Celestia and Shadow smiling glad that she is there as he ran past them both to catch up with Rarity and Applejack. He finally caught up to her and sighs "im glad you two are ok..." He sounds tired "lets get you two out of here.."

Celestia looked over and saw Hank passing by, "Get the weilders to the Elements!!!!!!" She screamed, "Then summon the guard and my sister!" She looked back to Shadow, "I'll hold these two off for now." She brought up the sword and made a sweeping motion towards Shadow's legs.

Shadow jumps back. "I do not have time for this Celestia." She yelled, her own sword now rising from the ground. It was made of a pure black metal it seemed like, but on closer examination, it could be told that it was made of hardened shadows. "Now I do not wish to fight you right now, but if you are going to make me, then so be it." She swung her sword at Celestias head.

Celestia put up her sword and blocked Shadow's sword then leaned in towards her, "Then lower your blade, turn around and walk out that door," she told her, "do this, and I swear that you will be granted peace. You shall not be pursued, you shall not be bothered." She locked eyes with Shadow, "However," she warned, "I cannot guarantee that you will survive if you choose to continue this conflict...."

"I refuse to leave. My master Nova has more knowledge to teach me, and I doubt she wants a coward who runs from a fight to be on her side." She yelled, swinging the sword again. She didn't have much practice with any weapons so her swings were slow and easily blockable.

Celestia blocked, slid her blade down to the hilt of Shadow's, then lifted, wrenching the blade from Shadow's grip. She then pointed her blade to Shadow's throat, "Final chance little one! I will not give you this offer again! Walk away from this! I do not wish to kill you, but I will have no choice if you continue!" Celestia truly and honestly did not want to fight this mare and she could tell that Shadow didn't want to fight either.....

Butajiri hovered down the Fissure with his fake wings and drew his sword along side Shadow. "You've done enough for a pony." He said to Shadow. "Leave now. I've been wanting to kill this bitch for years."

 

Hirue tried to slither past them. He was able to get down there without harming himself by slithering along the walls like a slug. He tried to follow Applejack and Rarity by using his sense of smell.

"I extend the same offer to you as I did to her," Celestia said bearing her teeth, " leave now, cease your hostile efforts, and I shall forget that this ever happened." She did her best to ignore the choice of adjective he used to describe her....

She held her blade steady to show that she was still ready to fight if she had to.

"Bargaining is for the weak. Keep your offer for someone else, assuming there will be anyone left in a few days." The horns on the side of his head extended past his blue hair.

 

Hirue crept past them and continued searching for Applejack and Rarity. Guiding himself with his nose like a bloodhound.

"I DO NOT have time to listen to your threats and insults worm!" Celestia blared. She then picked the two up with her magic and threw them against the wall. She then turned towards Hirue and screamed, "WHERE ARE YOU GOING?! I WILL NOT ALLOW ANY HARM TO COME TO ANYPONY TONIGHT!!!!!" She threw the claymore, full strength, directly at Hirue's head.
