Not to mention trixie happens to be a magic user.  she should have known better.

I kinda fail to see the lesson

"next time five to six ponies hackle you at your show lump it."

 

she was orginally right techincally speaking.  when the amulet came off she still tried blasting rainbow dash.

 

It seems more like Bender from futurama learning his lesson cause "he lost the means to be a giant douche bag." for the time being.

I mean if she had the alicorn amulet again would she slap it back on?

 

you can't call someone reformed until you give them the chance to be make the right or wrong choice. 

Discord is choosing to be less chaotic.

Well, she isn't evil anymore. So there wouldn't be any point in having her be evil again, since there is nothing that can make her evil again.

Diamond Tiara is not a nice pony. She bullies best CMC (Sweetie Belle) so I don't like her much. However, I do hope her and Silver Spoons get their own episode in S4. They need way more character development.

She won't actually become Gilda, just no. She will come back from this when she is going to back to entertaining, then at least try to make something out of it.

The absolute WORST point of the show.

 

Friendship is Magic is filled with so many great characters of various archetypes. The less fleshed-out they are, the more evil they are. Which, for the most part, is fine. With villains who perform large-scale attacks and take tyrannical control of what doesn't belong to them, the main focus is that the villain is stopped and the day is saved.

 

... It's much different with the basic school bully. Characters like Tiara, due to being in such a restricted status as simply being ordinary characters in town, have to have their cruelty intensified greatly to act as fair antagonists you want to oppose.

 

... Which is why I absolutely despise the school bully archetype. Defined by having little redeemable traits in their personality, Tiara fits this to a T and it is NOT pleasant. There is nothing even slightly enjoyable about her character. It's fine to make a despicable character, but at the same time, there needs to be some effort into making her something other than the worst character in the show. Make her eccentric, make her funny, show her secret insecurities, for Luna's sake, give us SOMETHING.

 

But no, she just comes off as a terrible character, and I'm ashamed she is apart of such a great show. All she has going for her is looking cute, and even then, she's pretty low on the cuteness list, behind just about everypony else...

she's basically draco malfiod from harry potter.

I made the mistake early on thinking he'd ever grow into a series rival, a great villain.

I kinda didn't mind how they made his story about redemption but that took Several movies.

it took the whole damn series.

 

truth is with as much time as diamond tiara gets, who knows,

i'd like to see her earn her screen time.
