finishing up those items in my request shop!  i like this though it was difficult not to over study the reference piece, i really love it~whoever drew it. im a little upset that he looks more scared rather than frazzled and running late. suggestionson why that is and how to fix it would be loverly :/

i haaaate my voice; i lisp a little and its irksome to hear it--but i guess everyones like that about their voice?

 huzzah!! this one took me the longest to complete so far: i dont draw a lot of people much these days~ and even less of just guys-- i know bad SweetJeans!  but us ladies come in so many fun shapes lmao xD anyhoo, im proud to present  -- anthro/humanised. i goofed a bit though, and forgot to change the legs from my sketch  im proud of the hands, but they still look too claw like for my preference-- but i redrew them like 4 times and this is the best i got D:

oh flutters, i know your pain... this is why the guy i had a crush on my entire school career never noticed me: i would see him coming and panic--id flail madly and dive behind something (hopefully) before hed see me.  i have never been good with people irl. xD

i wanted her to be in leggings and flats and then last minute decided she was getting ballerina tie up things xD i forgot to colour them in, because shes in a sweater dress thing ermagherd...

apparently plushies got popular, so i have two more to show off xD

lightning Shine:

 

since the plushies are pretty static, i try to choose a fabric print that conveys something a little deeper about the character.  this one was "dads old workshirt"  i probabably put WAY too much thought into these, but i ran with it. the plushie will be cherished through the years because its made from a childhood memory, as well as creates some of its own.  also the pattern below used to be really popular for socks; i like hand me down toys made with love xD

i really love the argyle print i found for this one-- im a sucker for vintage fabric designs and wallpaper lmao.

 i love drawing faces and expressions! im pleased my sketches point was clear haha xD sometimes theyre really hit or miss :3

 

 

 

FIY:  Colouring hair and doing line art are my least favourite parts of colouring.  Theyre certainly worth the time you spend on them, but im rather impatient. :/

trawling through my hard drive, looking for old sketches..i found this! i never posted it :/  really old Sweetjeans, and Beau!  now yall have a pony face to go with (even though he cut his hair..T_T he still wears this hat)  He is Substandard Pirate

i dont have a human pinkie sketch!! i dunno what shes wearing.. i just wanted those colors... and a hat? if you recall the old chuck jones era looney tunes, theres always somebody rolling up their sleeves, and pushing their hat down--gonna knock someone flat.  i dont see Pinkie decking anybody, but i figured shed emulate some classic comedy when getting her "serious face" on haha

oh yes! cheers for coffee!  ( though october is my "binge on white chocolate and pumpkin spice Cocoa" month xD)  and as ive already said~ shes so festive and cute!

aye ya do!   I wanted to put in her in there since her and twilight have really similar hairstyles--to see if i could render them and tell them apart without color. im bad about relying on a unique hairstyle to define a character--but our hair changes (almost) as much as our clothes so its kind of unreliable for character creation....

ive spent ages figuring out profiles too--if you look on DA i have some old charcoal elves that seem off.  noses still throw me though, sometimes i bring em out too far and they look snout-ish :s  and dude faces LMAO im terrible at....  best advice i got really is loosen up?  i got a lot better when i got chris harts "how to draw animation" book.. learning to squash and stretch the faces was a big challenge for me, but worth it.  they have more weight to them i guess?   if i think about it too much i bungle em.

 

how i picture their body types....

 

hmm AJ is pretty run of the mill average. i dont see her particularly tall or short, but still athletically built.  youd see muscle lines in her limbs, but i dont think shed be RIPPED xD  not overly busty either a good B or C maybe if you want to accentuate her figure more.

 

Twilight...slightly taller, a little leggy--maybe with a shortened torso proportionally to make her legs seem longer.  not hippy though--maybe a slight flare/pear shape to her though.

 

Rainbow Dash:  a hard one for me to pin down.  obviously athletic, but more sinewy--like baseball players  or swimmers muscles--tone but not raging.  strong and corded i guess is what im saying....shed be bottom heavy though--a runner gets some tree trunk thighs and a toned butt lmao xD  a sports bra would hide whatever bust she had, but im not sure on a size for her.  Im inclined to say something a little bigger--heavy C maybe just to emphasize that although shes a bad@$$ shes still all woman?

 

Rarity:  a little shorter i think, not by much though, and i picture her wearing heels always to make up for it.  NIce hourglass figure, though not wasp-waisted. (unless cossetted xD)  i picture dita von teese honestly (but shes not always safe for work... so be careful googling haha)

 

Pinkie Pie:  some pics ive seen of her chunkier are really cute, but i kind of like a twiggy version of her myself--yeah she eats a lot of sweets but her hyperness is just her--not just a sugar buzz.  so i think she has a high metabolism.  also i think shed be the shortest of them.  built a lot like twilight, but less legs xD  cute bubble butt?

 

Fluttershy: warped a little by some other pics ive seen, but i still think a voluptuous but tragically late bloomer.  Average height,  nicely flared and wide hips, and poor thing might even be a G (and look up real bra sizes, Ds arent really that big--but bewbs look different on different body types too....and it helps that i have chick friends who are VERY--sometimes uncomfortably for me--confident in their own skin D: )

@,  your sweet OC !!  there just arent a lot of brown ponies around xD
