Dear Gameloft,

 

Please make the already finished part of the shard no longer appear in the tree of harmony.

 

So, Laughter and Honesty are finished, but they're still needed for the ToH. My Laughter shard is often ran out and now my Generosity shard is running out too.

 

But, my Canterlot/SAA/Ponyville now no longer have shaded area / all field opened, which got that going for me, which is nice.

Okay I'm considering uninstalling my game.

 

I'm done with this crap since I keep getting sent back to Level 55 3 times already. Cloud Storage my ass if Gameloft can't even do that. What the buck?! I'm not going to apologize for cussing because I'm literally fed up. I asked Gameloft to fix this progress and not even 50 free gems are worth if if I can't even use them without losing my bucking progress especially when I'm close to getting a new pony through the event forums. I'm just soooooo angry right now and I'm like this close to just chucking something out the window.

I'm not even sure if you did anything to adjust your save data. You weren't the only one who suffered this kind of rollback, but other people suffered this rollback before This update came in. I may suggest try the customer support and see if they can come up with the solution they can provide.

Dude, chill. It's the holidays. Nothing gets done right in this time of the year. Yes, it's a pain, and I'm going through the same problem (at least you didn't lose your iPad's password  :okiedokielokie:  ), but you'll survive and if you have patience you may not have to lose everything for something like that.

Besides, what would the ToH decor do? And would they give it to us for free? Or it would cost loads of bits or hearts, or worse, gems?

 

Btw this game has cloud storage? Does this mean if I play on a different device in the case the previous one broke I could get my progress back?

I have survived the small death of being in the level cap for the time and losing everything. Twice. Because of game crashes or because of changing to a new device. Both times, I had EVERYTHING there was to have in the game. I feel like I came back from the dead. 

 

I'm going through it right now: dumbass here forgot the password because I was using touch id and had to restore the device. Costumer care is is trying to restore my game with the backup in their side. I'll let you guys know if it works.

No. they told me that this specific case is still not possible. They can only restore the game to the same device. At least that is the case on the iOS.

I'm not sure if I should even bother playing until Gameloft responds because this never happened until the Everfree Forest Update was installed.

 

I aasked them to restore like a bit of my progress, then I went back to the beginning of the update for some unknonwn reason, next they apologized and gave me 50 gems, but that was completely unecessary because the same thing happened.

 

Either the game has a bug only for Androids or Gameloft is trolling me

You know, dealing with Gameloft's costumer care has reminded me why I hate these things to begin with. Specially when it's done via e-mail. You get thrown to different people that seem a little too prone to misunderstandings. And then there is the constant thanking you for reaching their costumer care and apologizing their game is giving you headache instead of entertainment like a real game is supposed to. Not to mention treating you like a moron.

 

Honestly I don't know why Gameloft has so much trouble with cloud saving. Other games like Storm Of Vengeance, Space Wolf, Hearthstone and freaking Xenonauts (indie game) have no problem with multiple devices and updating games to newer files on the server. I think they have some paranoia based security system in this game or something of the sort. Bottom line: in my experience, don't trust their cloud saving. You need to contact their support for them to send you a backup file for your game and is not a good sign. And in my case, it blows my mind, it just didn't work after about three to five tries.

 

I don't know if the people in the other side didn't understand the problem (even with pictures...) or if the game is just a faulty piece of horseapples. I think I'm just going to start a new account and start over from the beginning. Again. Maybe the problem is that I'm playing from Brazil and there is lag between me and the servers. I don't know... Doesn't make much sense anyway.

I wonder how much longer I have to wait for the totem. It says 9h to go but it has been almost a week. I think I am going to give up on that part until this bug gets fixed. I also noticed that a couple of new ponies have gone for sale for 100 gems but that is still too much for me in my opinion.

Yeah that's the reason why I stopped making totems because it couldn't be made at their designated time. All I noticed was the time changed for the totems to be created after their designated time was passed. Well At least we still have our shops to get some shards so that's the bright side for sure.

OMGOMGOMG GUYS GUESS WHAT.

 

So my kindle was acting strange while I was playing free fall, and by weird I mean the brightness kept adjusting to bright to dark and it was interfering with me playing me game. (And before you ask, no it was not an automatic brightness) Anyways, I exited out of my game and decided to check the mlp app to see if maybe, just maybe it would work. Now, before I go on, I'd like to inform you that ever since my game wouldn't open, once in awhilr I would check the app to see if it would work or if it would just close itself like always. Well, when I checked the app, IT STARTED TO DOWNLOAD THE GAME LIKE IT DID BEFORE I LOST THE INTERNET CONNECTION AND IT STOPPED.

 

Words cannot express how happy I am that its working again!! Right now I'm waiting for it to finish downloading the update, and then I'm gonna get back to my town. I know I missed a lot of great deals on ponies (including CHEESE SANDWHICH!! sadly) but I'm glad that the games working so I can at least see this everfree forest update and hopefully get some great deals on ponies.

My kindle just died when it was almost done downloading. It was at like 87%.

 

I'm balling my eyes out. WHY DID IT DIE WHEN I HAD IT FRICKING CHARGING. GAWD.

 

I'll keep you guys updated on the story, I'll let you guys know what happens when my kindle turns back on.

Well, I turned my kindle on and opened the app, scared of what was going to happen. The first time, it exited out like it used to along with the message "My Little Pony has stopped working" ....

The second time, it opened up, and it brought me straight to the mlp downloading screen, skipping the blue gameloft screen. Then, it closed itself again.

I sat there and thought "third times the charm" and I opened it one more time, and this time it went to the Gameloft screen, then to the downloading screen. It was when it just began to download the update again, when my kindle shut down and died. AGAIN. And may I mention, once again, it was plugged in charging. UGHG.

 

SO, I waited a little while, then started my kindle up. I opened the app, and its working and currently downloading the update (took a few tries). It's halfway done downloading, and I'm PRAYING that it won't shut down nor exit out. I'll let you know what happens when its done downloading. (I'm pretty sure most of you probably don't care about this, but I feel this I'd the only place I can talk about it and I'm accepted)

3RD UPDATE:

 

GUESS WHO'S BACK, BACK AGAIN, I AM BACK, TELL A FRIEND!!!

 

Yupp, that's right. My game is back on track and I couldn't be happier!! I just received King Sombra as well! And I also received all of the chests and hearts sent to me while I was unable to play. I just want to thank every pony out there for all the hearts, chests, genorousity, and support!! Thank you each and every one of you who sent me these hearts!! Its good to be back.

 

As for the update, WOW, what a difference. First off, I was not expecting the snow on the ground, and then I noticed all the vines all over my buildings. Exactly, what do the vines DO to the building?? Like does it lower the amount of time or bits we receive or have to wait? That's something K was just confused about. Another thing is The Everfree Forest. WOW JUST WOW. Instead of starting at the top and uncovering expansion zones, you start at the bottom. Was not expecting that. And then when I entered zecoras hut, all I have to say is COOL GRAPHICS.

 

Well, I'm going to catch up on my game now!! Once again, thanks for all your support and kindness (and hearts). Be expecting some chests and hearts from me soon!!

Yeah, I don't blame you for thinking that. This time it was definitely my kindle's fault for dying and shutting off.

 

4TH UPDATE:

 

Ok, yes, I know, whew, a lot of updates. But I had to update it to mention something I have noticed ever since I got back to my town.

 

So, let me start from the beginning.

 

Before the update, I had wondered how many bits, gems, and hearts I would have to spend on all ponies in total. So, I made a chart (I know, fancy) On this chart, I had 3 sections of rows: Ponyville, Sweet Apple Acres, and Canterlot. And in each section, I had 3 columns: Ponies that cost bits, hearts, and gems. I put every pony's name and price in the correct spot, then added up the total of how many gems, bits, or hearts I would need to get all the ponies. Every time I bought a new pony, I would delete them and their price off my chart, and automatically it would change the total current amount.

 

Now, you may be wondering 'what does this have to do with anything??' Well SHuT uP aND Let mE TeLL YoU.

 

When I got back to my game, I was so excited and surprised with all the changes they did to the game, that I had barely noticed the actual changes that mattered: My game progress. After exploring a bit, I decided to buy some ponies that cost hearts since I had so many of them (thanks to you guys)

I knew that I only had one or two ponies left that I could buy with hearts, but when I got to the store, I realized that I must've missed some. BUT, as I was placing their houses, I noticed that it felt familiar, like I already had houses here and there. SO I decided to check my chart to see if I still had them on my chart. If I did, that meant that I hadn't bought them, but if they weren't on the chart, that meant that at one point I bought them. Well you can guess what the answer was.

They weren't on the chart, which meant I HAD BOUGHT THEM.

 

(NOTE: I also remember looking at my level and noticing it was at 44, which I remember that I was around level 51.)

 

SO that means that some of the ponies I had bought, were taken away from me. So I went back in progress/levels, and lost ponies along the way. I'm so mad right now. Gameloft better get their shit together and find a way to have people keep and save their game progress rather than to lose!! I'm not the type that complains and whines about everything, but if its something worth talking about, then I do. I've read a lot of people losing their game progress on here (including me, which happened once upon a time ago...except I got sent back to level 1 and had to restart the whole game)

 

So yeah, just thought I'd put that out there. I'm going to go and check if they are any other ponies I have lost.

So it seems that a lot of my ponies were sent back a few stars, which makes me mad because EW. Cheerilee was done and had 5 stars, and now she's back to 4 stars which ticks me off. I also lost Twist, and went back on the mine cart game.Some of my ponies were unassigned from shops as well, which took me a while to figure out. I'm just very mad right now.

 

But other than me, I wanna here about you guys since I've been talking so much and probably been pissing you off.

 

How are you guys and the game going so far?? And to the new folks to the game or to the bring fandom, how are you liking it so far??

I got all the Mane 6 except Rainbow Dash, and all the Crusaders, and Octavia, and Vinyl Scratch. All I need now is Sunset Shimmer to be officially squeeing
