Cherry Blossom woke up with a yawn, nearly touching the sharp end of a spear, she shrieked. She looked up and saw two unicorns pointing their weapons at her. Her face was filled with shock and terror, but she was also feeling cold on every part of her body. She remembered giving the unconscious her sweater and beanie, but all that was left was the black sneaking suit keeping her faintly warm.

 

Cherry Blossom got up as a male unicorn ordered her to do so. "E-Excuse me, but y-you have no j-jurisdiction to point th-that weapon at me." her voice was trembling in fear as she knew she could be instantly killed by these unicorns. "Oh what am I saying? They could just kill me if they wanted to... Please help me..." she thought as she put her wings around herself to keep warm.

"I-I was only helping that mare! She looked l-like she was going to freeze to d-death and I gave her my sweater and beanie! Please, don't hurt me!" Cherry Blossom was still shivering in fear and the cold. She was thinking of flying away, but it seemed that the unicorn could stab her with the spear instantly.

"That may be why you were next to her but why were you here, in Unicorn territory? With that suit you look like you're a spy. It doesn't matter. We're going to take you back to the castle where you will be questioned and if need be killed. If I even think you're going to try to fly away or attack me I will kill you on the spot. Now start walking." Snowy Fields growled as he motioned for her to walk in front of him.

 

"Commander, if you want to you should go on ahead and get Lemon some medical treatment. I'll take care of the prisoner."

"O-Okay I'll talk! I only came here in Unicorn airspace to help that mare! I was heading for the Earth Ponies' kingdom, but I saw that unicorn unconscious so I had to help her!" Cherry Blossom spoke quickly to let it all out and out of extreme tension she was feeling.

"No worries, Martin. I'll be standing by in case there is an emergency mission needed."

She laughed at her joke, then started walking after Martin, locking all the doors that needed to be locked.

 

Martin kept pace ahead of Greylight using his mental map of the cave to guide him since the candle was still with her. He kept looking back to make sure she was behind him and couldn't help but notice how beautifully the candle illuminated her features "What are you thinking Martin?!" he thought to himself "That's your new boss, practically!"

 

"You've never felt this way about another mare before, what makes her different?"

 

"You can't just put logic to these kinds of things, Martin"

 

"I know, Martin, but it's not as simple as that. If things go wrong with her then thing's could go really wrong for me!"

 

Martin's mental argument with himself ended when he reached the end of the cave which ended in a cliff with the clouds high above. He needed to be flown up. He looked back into the cave at Greylight, blushed a bit, and looked back down at his hooves.

"I really have no reason to trust you. If you are telling the truth our interrogators will know and we will release you after some questions. If you're lying well...I'm sure the Pegasi punishment for espionage isn't much different from our own. Now I'm only going to be kind once more...start walking."

((OOC: Lemon Scarlet was heading towards the direction of the Earth Pony kingdom, but I guess it would be around the borderline and we intersected paths?...))

 

Cherry Blossom sighed and did as she was told she started walking towards the direction of the Unicorns' territory. It was very tempting for her to try and fly away from the stallion, but she was also starting to regret going ahead of Splinter and Windscar.

Snowy Fields walked behind the mare with his spear pointed towards her. "I have some questions to ask you. What is your name, what city are you from? How old are you and what is your occupation?"

Cherry Blossom panicked a little as she tried to reply back to the Unicorn, "M-My name is Cherry Blossom and I'm from P-Pegalopolis. I'm 17 a-and I work as a m-mailmare." she spoke shyly.

She tried not to think about what they would do to her, but they might also make her go through torture for all she knows.

Snowy Fields sighed to himself. She seems genuinely scared. Maybe she isn't a soldier...it doesn't matter, she is still a pegasus. The scum should die. Snowy Fields cleared his throat. "Why were you chosen to be a spy if you're a civilian? Are the Pegasi so weak and unprepared that they draft a seventeen year old mailmare to spy on the enemy?"

"T-This was a special assignment and they specially h-hoofpicked me out of other p-ponies." Cherry Blossom frowned from Snowy Fields' insult to her species. Now it was extremely tempting for her to fly away, but she had the wings to do it. "M-Maybe I could just fly away. I mean Unicorns can't really fly." she thought as she looked back.

Snowy Fields raised an eyebrow. "Why? Are you a particularly strong or fast flyer?" He caught her looking back at him or her wings, he couldn't really tell. She looked rather annoyed. He wasn't sure but he could take a guess at what she was wanting to do, it's what he would want to do in her situation. "I wonder how much you know about the Unicorns military. Did you know that some of us specialized in training to fight certain enemies? Some specialize in fighting Earth Ponies, while others specialize in anti-pegasi tactics...guess which I specialized in?"

"Too bad you're n-not specialized in helping other Ponies instead of hurting them. It's a sh-shame that you Unicorns say th-that were are warmongers, but you're the one pointing a spear at me..." she said, not in an insulting tone, but a rather upset one to be exact. Cherry Blossom had done it, she flew off...in her mind, thinking about flying off.

Uh, she thought head pulsing, body not accepting the movement that she was receiving. She groaned, and tried to open her eyes, and what she saw was a pegasus, a white one, too. What the hay, I couldn't have ventured that far! She look at the stallion who carried her, and realized that it was a unicorn, as were the other ponies trotting cantering toward the castle. She felt...warm, but not in the emotional way. She'd never been soft, why would that start now? But she wasn't wearing any clothing, as far as she knew.

 

Wherever the energy she came from, the yelp that escaped from her mouth was abnormally loud, at least for her throbbing head and ears. She was wearing a sweater and a beanie, with holes at the side of the sweater. Clearly the pegasus' sweater, and she was already warm, meaning that the pegasus had freely given it to her. What a strange thing to do. Maybe not all pegasi and earth ponies are evil. She shook her head, trying to get the snow out of her mane as well as trying to alert the unicorns that she was finally awake.

 

"Need medicine," she hoarsely said, her throat clearly dry. "Need water," she added to the list of things she needed in her mind, noting how raspy her voice sounded. We must be nearing the castle, I can almost feel the presence of more and more unicornswel She set her head back down, welcoming the cushion like feeling as she closed her eyes, breathing at the minimal.

Oh Syline, she's a pacifist. Well isn't that just great. "Yes, because the Pegasi aren't preparing to go to war with the Earth Ponies over a lack of food and instead are planning to share their limited food and resources with the rest of us. Very honorable of you."

"A lot of ponies in Pegalopolis are s-starving to death and we c-can't allow that to happen! W-We deserve our fair share of provisions when we supply water to the Earth Ponies. I'm only here to g-gather evidence of food they've been h-holding to themselves, not for the purpose of war." Cherry Blossom let out a sigh and continued to walk, deep into Unicorn territory. Snowy Fields briefly looked over his shoulder at Lemon, at least she was alive. "You'll be fine Lemon, we'll get you to a medic soon. We're nearing the city now."

Letrix began to roam the streets in search of something to do he had been hired to protect Vinyl Blade but she seemed to have walked straight past him after the meeting was over and he lost her. "I make a terrible guard." Letrix sighed to himself quietly as he walked into a small cafe and sat down on one of the vacant seats.

She hesitated, then retracted the hoof that the bag was secured around.

"Only if you say so, Velnir. However, if I ever feel like I've cheated you, I'll pay this back, ok?"

 

Martin kept pace ahead of Greylight using his mental map of the cave to guide him since the candle was still with her. Star Flower wakes up in her house. She's a rookie soldier and not entirely sure what's going on. She casually eats cereal and puts her uniform on(if they do wear uniforms)

Surge made it back to town with Windscar on his back. As he makes his way to town hall other ponies come out of their homes to what Surge had. They whisper to each other as they fallow Surge through the streets. As he passes Trench......Trench walk with me. We have work to do.

As they reach town hall the one pony shouts out. That what you get you rat with wings! The crowd gets loud and fallows his lead. Yea thats what happens when you mess with the earth ponies. No so strong now are ya? Welcome to the grid iron you flying freak. The crowd gets louder and louder. Some even throw spoiled food at her. Heres the food you wanted! As Surge makes it inside he puts WS down and walks back out to the people. In a loud voice taking over the mob. SILENCE ALL OF YOU!!! This is no way to ack in front of our "enemy". Yes she was spying on our village and will be brought to justus.....He was cut off....HANG HER!! cUT HER WINGS OFF!! LET HER ROT IN A CELL!! i SAID BE QUIT!!!! Now i know you all want her to suffer for what her breed has done to our people. And i can understand that. But what i see is a means of trade. With her we can now make a deal with the PP's with out having to sacrifice any more of our crop and labor. This way...We can get our leader Martin back. This way we wont have to go to war. But if they dont want to make a deal.......THEN ITS OFF WITH HER HEAD! The crowd gets hype and loud at what Surge said. It gave them hope for retribution. For all the things the pagasus have done to them. He walks back into the hall looking at WS. She had a look of anger in her eyes. Surge gives a smirk and gets eye to eye with her. And in a calm but curl voice. Do you hear that? They are calling for your blood. They want to see your head roll. And ya know what.....I dont blame them. But im not looking for a fight right now. Im looking to make peace for my people. But if it is a war your people want.....they will get one. Now your going to tell me everything i want to know. Understood? Windscar tuns her head and looks away from him. Shaking his head. Oh...So unwise. Trench. Take our "guest" to the holding cell. The special one for our flyer types.

 

(In the EP pegasus holding cell they are shackled to the wall in an upright possession. Their wings are cuffed to their bodies. And if extra force is needed wings have cuffs on them that are pinned into the bone of the wing. WS is to be placed in a standard pegasus holding cell.)

Greylight caught up with Martin. She noticed his blush, but barely.

"Well, what are you waiting for? ... Oh, wait, I see it now."

She laughed, and crouched down.

"Get on. I'll get you up there."

 

"Thanks" Martin climbed onto Greylight and put his hooves around her neck (perhaps too closely) "Alright, I'm ready when you are" he looked outside the cave to the seemingly endless abyss of thin, wispy clouds too thin to stand on; waiting for her to take off.
