Now Surge,you've been making battle-plans all week; how do we deal with this?" he asked, turning his bacckina manner that implied disrespect to Fatigue.

Vinyl handed hoofed her the coffee and walked back to her chair. She sighed and said, "Well... There's this mare that's been on my mind recently. I've been dreaming about her and thinking about her all day. There's just one problem... She's a pegasus that would probably never be into me."

"So, you fell in love with Cherry Blossom. That could be slightly problematic towards your reputation; Not only do you want a pegasus, but she's younger and of the same gender. I wondered why you let her go so easily," Aelicine says, shrugging. She drinks her drink and says, "All are equal under the moon. Thou shalt not underestimate thine enemies and such."

Fatigue go sit down till im ready to deal with you. And yes i do have battle plans just for such a time as this. But...Im going to need more proof than just your word Fatigue. I need proof. Where are the bodies? Just then the two guards walked in with the two dead guards bodies. Sir. We found their bodies near the path to the unicorn kingdom. Fatigue puts on a smug grin. That the bodies you wanted Surge? Well...There you go. If you plan on attacking ill be in my room...If its still here. Walks to the back. Surge is shocked and outraged. Velnir ....i need you to come with me on this one. I am going to deal with this myself.

Sigh.....He is coming with us. As much as i dont want him to he has to. Hes the only one who saw who killed the guards. But i need someone who have a leveled head as well. You are that guy. And if i just take him hes bound to start something stupid. Also i trust you. Plus the only other thing i can ask you to do is watch over the town while im gone. I would take Fatigue with me to keep him out of your main. But if you dont want to go i will not make you. I just ask that you keep the town in check while me and Tigue are gone. So....what do you wish to do?

He groaned, "I'll go.With luck, no pony else has to die. Maybe we can be the bigger stallions and turn their flanks back home." He loosens the sheath on his dagger, thinking about Shelby. Is it sin to kill in self-defense? Should I stay here? What would happen to them though? Would I be able to live with myself if they died?

Vinyl looked back up at her. "So... So what do I do? I mean, I can't just... You know, come out and say it. Even if I did say it, what would be the chances of her having the same feelings for me? You saw her when she was here." She rested her head on her hooves and chuckled quietly to herself. "Here I am, the most powerful mare in Unicornia, asking you for love advice. I'm so pathetic."

Aelicine pats her on the back, "Who else are you going to tell it to? And as far as love advice, well, wouldn't you feel better knowing you tried? I mean, at least knowing your tried, you won't beat yourself up for never getting the answer, right? Although, I wouldn't know. (In this RP) I've never had a relationship."

Vinyl looked up at her. "I would, but then there are the repercussions of a unicorn leader saying she likes a pegasus. Isn't there some sort of way to tell her that I love her without anypony else knowing and without any negative consequences? A letter maybe? A prayer?"

A letter might work, she is a mail mare, after all. However, I doubt a prayer would, seeing as neither of you are actually believers. Wits, by the way, was weird last night. It was almost as if he had seen something while I was preparing my ritual. No matter, that is off topic."

Velnir nods and glares at General Fatigue, as if to say, "Touch my girl and I'll kill you." He walks up to Shelby and puts his head against her chest, lovingly applying pressure, "I have to go with Surge tomorrow. I'll tell you about it on the way home. When his head connected with her chest, the sad, dominated, introverted Velnir disappeared, revealing a gentle, happy, slightly reserved figure.

"Don't worry, Wits is always weird. That's why he doesn't appear before crowds. That and he's one of the lower ranking officials." Vinyl sighed and looked out of the window. "Do you really think this'll work? Doesn't matter, right? I have to try anyway. I think I'll write that letter today." She turned back to Aelicine. "Now back to why you're here. Those berries."

She passes Vinyl the berries, thinking, "You would think Wits would have been more polite... No matter; he helped where it counted. These berries, other than they're edible, I don't know much about them." She eats one, looking thoughtful, "They taste... A little bit sweet... With a spicy kick at the end." She felt less tired.

[Cherry Blossom 864]

"I-I understand, but I'm going to report that the Earth Ponies have the food, but want Martin back in return." Cherry Blossom gave a nod and started to trot out of the area and out of town, but it would only take her around 6 minutes to get out of town, if she doesn't encounter anypony.

Letrix looked around at the group and began to get rather impatient on the fact that everypony weren't moving towards the village. "Right, lets go to the destination then because I have a feeling if we and by we I mean you guys stand here any longer you are going to be seen." Letrix said impatiently.

Greylight arrived at her office and sat down. (Update me on the pegasi.)

 

"Fine. If we move on, we better do it now."

Fire Blade still sounded a bit pissed.

Star Rain wondered why Fire Blade was still this annoyed, but decided it would pass. As long as it doesn't result in us captured or dead! "Hey, you think we should stop by the river to see if we could clear some more evidence?" asked Star Rain. She wasn't aware that the Earth Ponies had gotten there first.

(To me it feels like the situation is rather tense here...or maybe I'm remembering wrong.)

 

Snowy Fields sighed as he walked over to Sapphire and stood silently by her side. He watched as the other ponies seem to almost have a standoff and waited for the ponies to make the decision to continue on with the mission or to fall back.

Velnir sighed, "A patrol of unicorns came in and killed two of our guards. I've been selected to go with Surge and," he grimaced, "Fatigue to negotiate. It shouldn't involve to much fighting. That's why Surge wants me to come, actually, because Fatigue is a jerk who likes fighting. I don't even know how he GOT to be a General, or what got him out of banishment. We leave tomorrow; please don't hate me for this. I know we haven't had much time, but..." he looked away, blushing.

She walked in silence, leaning into him.

"You must do what the general's told you to, Velnir... I can't hate you for obeying orders... Just one promise from you..."

She looked at him, then kissed him softly, pulling away after only a few moments.

"Don't die..."

Velnir felt her lean into him and smiled. When she kissed him, he relished every moment, trying to absorb the feeling. So when she told him to promise, he almost missed it, however, he was completely sincere when he said, "I would not be going if I did not feel I would come back alive."

"They are right, we should get going. Everypony stay together and keep quiet. Be ready, we might be attacked at any moment. No time to move the bodies, let's go." Sapphire said to the group as they headed towards a bushy area to move hidden.
