Star Keeper gave an awkward smile at Purplepower and showed he was ready to go. 'Smooth...'

Star Keeper nuzzled her side, which made her mind explode. It's ok, Purplepower, just pretend its no big deal. Maybe he's just joking around or something. But her brain wouldn't let it go. Come on, brain, it isn't funny any more, leave it alone! She started trotting. "I suggest we stick close. After all, we don't want to get separated when the city shifts."

"A-A-Amputation?!" Cherry Blossom started to panic and looked around the room extremely quickly. "I-I don't want to have my leg amputated! I-I want to keep my leg!" she exclaimed as she started to shake and fidget in fear. But Cherry Blossom passed out from the thought of it.

 

((OOC: I said 2nd to 3rd degree, but I should have it mostly around 2nd degree.))

 

"Well I didn't find any gauze but we can-" Star Rain stopped abruptly. "Woah! What happened to Cherry Blossom?!" she exclaimed when she saw her passed out on the floor. "Silver Heart, what happened here while I was in the kitchen looking for gauze and a drink?" Star Rain asked.

Buck Hill was already gone from the room when Cherry Blossom passed out. All farmers had a special medicine that most of the world didn't know of, but he was both away from home and the festival, so there was none to be found. Sometimes I wish that the early generation of ponies had told other people of the treatment, he tried to say before he remembered he couldn't speak. "For Celestia's sake, why can't I speak!" He jumped back in surprise, before testing his voice. "That's weird," he said, before racing downstairs. "Where are the carrots!"

Silver Heart sighed, this mare was apparently very fragile. "How did she even get out of Las Pegasus by herself?" She muttered.

Silver Heart heard both ponies speak at the same time. Since Star Rain was closer she spoke to her first. "It appears she fainted. I told her that if we couldn't get her to a hospital, then we may need to amputate her leg."

She turned to Buck Hill as he cane downstairs. "I don't have any."

Also this goes for both of you, don't go wandering through some ponies house without permission. its really quite rude."

"Oh, sorry about that," she said. "But seriously? We gotta get to a hospital quickly!" Star Rain said. She pictured the hospital's lobby in her mind and attempted to teleport there. At first it failed, but she tried again. They almost turned cyan in an attempt to teleport there, but she failed a second time.

This is the critical point where everything seemed to fall apart for Star Keeper. A unique situation where all he could get out was a bunch of irrelevant words put together in something resembling a sentence.

 

"Right... yes, we should definatley stick together. No, wait... um, not stick together together, just together And not that type together... just together. We should, um... go now. Yes, now seems good. Is it hot today because I'm hot. Not that hot, just hot as in temperature. You know, Degrees...? Um, I should... stop... talking now."

 

He bet to himself that the expression on his face would have been priceless. Purplepower didn't seem to react for a few seconds.

Upon hearing him, Star Rain became shocked. She wanted to shout at him but she kept her mouth shut. She stopped her attempts to teleport and simply stood there. Star Rain really hated it whenever somepony called her "lady". Do...not...call...me...a...lady...again! She simply sat down on the sofa and waited.

Star Keeper started babbling a bit. He seemed nervous. "What?" She chuckled a bit. So this is what it's like when I'm all weird. I really shouldn't do that. It must make ponies uncomfortable. "I think the castle is in that direction. At least last time she looked it was.

"Yes, right. Let's get going then." Star Keeper bit his tongue and was silent for some time before daring to speak again. He had made things bad as it was, speaking again would only make it worse. His head hung low and he couldn't bring himself to face the purple mare, not yet. His mind was still a mess as it was.

 

'And that dream did not help.' He thought to himself.

Wow, my mane must be really bad today. He won't even look at me! No, stupid brain, that's not it! It must have been something I said! Uuuuggg! Why do I always mess up on things like this! She tried not to look irritated at herself. She readjusted her saddlebag. Man I really need to do something about this bag! It's so annoying!

"So...what direction should we try now to get to the castle?," said Scintillant to Map Maker. The dog itself was odd to be seeing as well and he really wondered if the dog knew what direction to even go from here. This place was in a constant flux and what would seem to be the right way one moment was wrong the next.

Star Keeper could tell she was struggling to comfortably carry her saddle bag. He was trying to avoid anything that may result in humiliation, but he could make an exception here.

 

"Want me to take your bag? Mine is light enough and it doesn't bother me to much."

Oh crap. What should I say? Yes or no? I've got to think. Come on brain! Think think think! She spat out what came to her mind. "Oh no, I'm fine. It's not heavy or anything, it's just the stupid buckle. It's too big for the bag or something. Well that went well. Should I have said yes? Ug I don't know any more. "Thanks though." Nopony had ever acted like this around her. She wasn't sure what it was. Did he dislike her? Was he angry? She was getting confused.

Right in the dignity. Star Keeper took like a proper gentlecolt and ignored her for most of the walk. It was at this point again that he looked around, realizing something he had not before.

 

"How long have we been walking for? We don't seem to be getting any closer?"

"I don't know how long we've been walking, but its been long enough that we should be half way there by now!" She was getting worried now. "I don't know what's going on, but something's definately wrong here. I think maybe we should pick up the pace a bit, just in case."

"We follow the dog to the owner, and then we go from there. Anything to get out of this ditzy maze," he grumbles, turning to the dog. "Umm, dog, uhh, can you please find, umm, your master?" It barked once and ran off, to which, Mapmaker followed.

Scintillant soon started to follow both the dog and Mapmaker. It was apparently trying to take them to its master but even in this maze, it was becoming a slight issue. However, it seemed that the dog did indeed know and they were soon out of the maze. It seems that they were near the Hospital and they were not alone. It looked like several others had found their way to the area as well. Turning to the dog Scintillant asked "So, where is your master?"

Star Rain went into the kitchen and stuck a thermometer into the water. After that, she used her magic to heat it up until it got up to about 100 degrees. She accidently touched the container the water was in and it burned her hoof a little bit. "AAAHHHHH!!! HOT HOT HOT!!!!" she yelled out.

Mapmaker pointed as the dog started happily barking. He trotted to follow the dog, and turned to make sure the other pony was following. What he saw was, yes, the other pony, but also that the purple maze and the hospital were gone. "... We're not in Ponyville anymore, Ditzy..." he mumbled.

Silver Heart heard Star Rain yelp in the kitchen, She turned around and quickly walked over to Star Rain. "Um...is everything alright in here? I heard you from the other room." Silver Heart asked as she looked around the kitchen. I hope she didn't hurt herself.

Silver Heart walked out of the kitchen, levitating the pan of warm water behind her over to Cherry Blossom. She leaned down and soaked a towel in the water and carefully placed it over one of Cherries legs.

"So is there any idea of what's going on around here? I-I mean it's cold and freezing around, but I thought it wasn't going to be this cold." she frowned, staring out the window. Cherry Blossom laid her back down and just looked around the house. The room they were in was well taken care of and clean.

Canterlot has never gotten this cold before.You shouldn't worry about that for now...just try to relax...you'll need your strength if we're going to get you to the hospital. Now you said that you had been out by yourself for a few days...when was the last time you ate? "
