Canadian bronies, where do you watch the show?

I just stream it on Youtube. Surprisingly enough there isn't too much of a wait time for it to be uploaded on Youtube. So I'm not missing out~

Whaaaaa-

The animation/music/voice acting is done in Canada, yet they don't show it there?!? That's like the WORST. POSSIBLE. THING. D:

Someone should start a Livestream channel just for the new episodes of MLP. In fact, I may try that sometime...I hope you're able to find a solution!

I think we have it on Tree House. Which is a children's channel intended for toddlers. It has shows like Blue Clues, and other cartoons they feed toddlers

I usually go on youtube. its the only place ive viewed them on so far.

I found out it was on treehouse while crossing the cabot strait to newfoundland on a ferry boat LOL

I looked at the tv in the lounge and sure enough, theres an ad for it right in front of me.

i had to stifle my laughter cause there was 50+ people who probably would have thrown me overboard if i had a fanboy moment then and there.

still.

i smiled.

think i got some looks too..... :P

generally i don't watch tv shows on tv at all - just wait untill it's out on dvd to purchase a season. gotten pretty good at guessing which shows i'll enjoy over the years, even without watching any of them.

Back when i used to live in Canada I would watch it on YouTube. But know that i live in Texas i have the hub! This is one of the only things that make this place worth it.

MLP Forums streams each new episode live as it comes out as part of our long-running Synchtube Fridays tradition. It's a weekly social event in which you chat with your fellow community members (yes, chat!) while enjoying pony fan music, videos, and et al, capping off with a livestream of the episode on Saturday morning. ;)

The tragic irony of your situation is that My Little Pony is for the most part a Canadian production. It's ridiculous that you can't just watch it on TV.

You CAN watch it on TV, on Treehouse. The thing is all of their shows aside from MLP (Dora, Max and Ruby, Barney, the Backyardigans, Calliou and the like,) are centered towards a slightly younger target audience than MLP. It's frequently called "that baby/toddler channel" if I were to bring it up in a conversation. It's completely humiliating to be caught watching it unless you have little kids or brothers and sisters. Maybe I'm over-exaggerating for point, but unlike the Hub I feel completely embarrassed watching it.

Not only that, but I'm pretty sure Treehouse hates the show. They only air it maybe 2-3 times a week, and they prefer episodes over others it seems. They've censored out the word loser at least four times, and they finally started airing season 2 a couple months after season 2 was finished. I'm not even sure that they've aired all of season 2 as of now. They consistently aired episodes until Baby Cakes and I think they went straight to Canterlot Wedding after the break. http://mlpforums.com/public/style_emoticons/default/dry.png Also, they air these awful Manon shorts right before and after them with abysmal voice acting and animation, but I guess I can't blame them for filling the space that would typically be used for commercials.

They seem to be treating it a bit better now that they have more than 26 episodes to work with, but they still are TREEHOUSE. I have this feeling that Teletoon, YTV or Family (Family airs Strawberry Shortcake, so why not? I believe YTV airs Transformers and Pound Puppies ) would treat it somewhat better. Besides, MLP would fit with the other programming on those channels rather than Dora the Explorer.

Youtube and livestreams are the best things ever.

I have American satelite so I watch it on the Hub. Sometimes on Treehouse. IDT it's suited for Treehouse, I think they censored some words out when I watched 'Party of One.' Like, why would you air a kids show on your network if you have to censor things?

I read that in France Manon is called "the little queen of animals" which I find rather creepy.

That aside, I do watch the show on Treehouse but they usually show S1 reruns, although they have shown some S2 eps including the royal wedding. I doubt they'll have the S3 premiere when it comes out so I expect to be watching that on YouTube.

I just use Youtube.

Sadly the only two television shows that I watch (ponies and Game of Thrones) are aired in the US and not Canada.

But apparently there's a HBO Canada so I'll get that. Then I only have to worry about ponies! *laughs*

Shame on you canadians not getting the Hub and Youtubing all the time, it supports the show more if you actually watch it on television! :P

but to be fair I use Youtube sometimes too.

so the hub, what sort of tier of cable package is it on down there?

could probably just google this, but i'm throwing it out there.

Just above basic really(for Comcast), which is not really that much more in price. It's in with everything else that isn't on basic(except HBO and Showtime and whatnot).

This thread... confuses me. You speak to all of Canadians because they don't have The Hub but there's no European countries (AFAIK) that have it either - or any other country in the world besides the US. You could have just asked the whole rest of the world.

Anywaaaaays... enough of my rambling.

YouTube is your friend. There's almost always a 1080p HD version of literally all the episodes so there is really no problem for non-Americans. If you really want to support the show and give money to it or whatever then I think you can buy it on iTunes (or maybe even Netflix?) or just buy some merchandise.
