Mango Soup doubted that anypony knew where to go, but if somepony shouted for them to follow them, that's what she would do. She ran to Krystal, who was now at the edge of the campsite. "Where do you plan to go? It's all forest around here! Right?" She added the last question just to see if Krystal would say no and knew where to go.

Night Song followed Krystal, dragging Usaf along. She pressed on, struggling to fly. She started to tear up a little bit from exhaustion, but she quickly wiped her tears and the rainwater away from her eyes. Determined to get some place safe, she ignored the pain from the splinter and the exhaustion from flying against the wind.

Sky followed the group of ponies while he casted an extremely bright light spell to help them see the way. "Some camping trip." Sky said sarcasticly as he tried to wipe the mud out of his dark coat. "I hope we find shelter soon." Sky said to no pony in particular.

Cherry Blossom followed and looked back, making sure that Bio was following. Though it was hard to see since her wet mane was all over her face and it was getting pretty cold. "W-Where are we going?" she asked, gently sneezing a few seconds later, showing that she has caught a cold.

"I don't know where I'm going but we can't stay here. Come on!" she trudged into the forest, the rest of the group in tow.

 

The group of ponies walked for 10 minutes in the storm and by now the rain had turned into sleet and hail. Every drop stung like a needle. Luckily they came up to a clearing in the forest and in the middle of the clearing stood a massive run-down old mansion. "Quick everypony inside." Krystal said to the group as she ran inside the mansion.

Sky ran inside the mansion and found himself in a very creepy old lobby. With a grand staircase right infront of him. "Hello?" Sky shouted he waited a couple of seconds before saying. "I guess nobodys home." Sky then waited for the rest of the group to enter to see if they were all alright.

[Marathon 562]

As he woke, marathon took in his surroundings. The room was dark but dimly lit by a torch. His vision was blurry and his hearing sensitive. He heard somepony or something call out hello. "Hello." He said quietly to himself. "Hello, a informal greeting. Usualy used with a friend or...when..." Marathon quickly got up and made his way to the door and checked to see if it was unlocked. He slowly opened the door to find a group of ponys entering this, place. Where ever this was. How did he get here anyways. For a while he studied the group. The leader he thought was most intresting, they were all wet. "Hey! Over here!" He called out to the group.

Cherry Blossom got inside the mansion and started to catch her breath. After that she looked around the main hall while shaking off to dry herself. "W-What is this place? I-I've never known there was a place like this, here," said Cherry Blossom. Her attention transitioned to the pony that called out to them.

Krystal moved her mane out of her face and looked around at her surroundings. There was dust everywhere and it was almost pitch dark inside, you could barely see if it wan't for the lightning that would strike every few seconds with a sharp crack and momentarily illuminate the room. Then she heard a pony's voice from on the balcony above them "Hello" she said to the mystery pony "Umm... who are you?"

Without hesitation, Night Song flew into the mansion. She was about five feet off the ground when she flew in, but then she fell down onto the foyer of the mansion as if she was slammed down by an invisible force. When she tried to fly back up into the air, she felt as if she was carrying twenty textbooks on her back. "Ugh, what's that about?! Is there some gravity change in this place?" she said, flopping down on the floor. "Krystal, are you sure we should stay here? This place is...creepy. And no matter how hard I try, I can't fly off the ground very high," she huffed. The light from her charm went out the moment she came in there.

"Me? I...im Marathon. But i think the better question is why are you guys here?" He said this taking careful notes on body language and tone to build a profile on each pony. He could already tell that the group was stressed and might act abnormaly, so he was carefull not to act agressive.

"G-guys? I don't think we should go in there," Mango Soup stuttered, taking a step back from the ominous looking mansion. However, it didn't look like she had a choice. With the others racing inside like...like excited foals on Halloween, the outside looked even more dangerous. She joined the others inside and asked, "Why are we doing this?"

Usaf flew in and landed in the hall way he hit the ground same as Night Song. After seeing that Night had hit the ground hard and that she had a nasty splinter in her side he trotted over to her "Hey are you all right, that splinter dosen't look good we should get it out" then upon hearing the voice of a pony he did not know Usaf turned toward Marathon and assumed a ready stance, not too agresave but enough to show that he was willing to defend himself and the others should there be conflict. "Im Usaf and why are you here" he said talking to Marathon

Sky looked at Marathon and then pointed towards the window. "And if that wasn't a big enough clue for you then it's because it's extremely dangerous to be out there in the middle of that storm." Sky said as he wipped the mud off of his coat. "So do you own this place?" Sky asked curiously.

 

But just then as the last pony of the group entered the room, the door slammed behind him and a creepy distraught voice echoed "There is no escape. You will all DIE HERE."

Diamond was the last into the mansion. "Oh great... now my mane looks horrible... I wonder if whoever lives here has a mane curler... I left my bag at the." she was cut off by the door slamming and a dark evil voice. "I am no longer worried about my mane." She said in a scared voice and staring up at an old dusty chandelier.

"Usaf? Honestly you're not that big of threat to me, though i can tell you're probably trained by military...possibly. As for me i have no idea how i got here, i just woke up. I dont really remember anything." He then heard the voice of something saying they would die in this place. "Yeah? Well you could atleast put me six feet under when you're done bluffing. Some ponys these days. And you would think after you guys had enough stress you'd get to rest." He said as alot of the ponies watched him.

Cherry Blossom had her eyes widened and she held the teddy bear close. "W-Who was that?! I-I don't want to die! Let's go back outside!" she exclaimed. She went to the door and tried to open it, but it seemed to be closed shut. "Princess Celestia, please bless is with your kind soul..."

"Yeah we should-" Night Song began, but upon hearing the mysterious voice, she screamed. "OH MY GOSH, WHAT IS THAT?!" she shouted after she screamed. She then just stood there shivering, looking blankly at Marathon. "Wh-who are you? Do you own this place? I-is anypony e-else living h-here?!" she said shakily.

"No i dont, i dont even understand why im here in the first place." He said, he turned to Usaf,"you should probably comfurt her, i can tell shes not going to handle this very easily." He said with a slightly commanding voice, only because he knew the situation wasnt very good and they need a good leader. And right now he needed to step up if he was going to find ou what happened to him.

Usaf continued to look at the stranger for a little bit longer after the voice, brushing off the insult he replied "I don't trust you yet but you seem to not be the main threat at the moment." after that Usaf turned back to Song "Ok that splinter needs to come out or it will be infected." Usaf dug through the small amount of supplies that he still had with him in his saddle bag, a small med pack with some bandages, some forcipes, some pain pills and some disinfectant, a small hunting knife, and and a small lighter. Buck i packed my e-kit for a camping trip not deadly hide and seek. he pulled out the forcipes. "Ok this wont hurt a bit. just look some where else and it will be over before you know it" and with that he used the forcipes to pull out the splinter.

The voice echoed again and magical glow surrounded Marathon. "How dare you think nothing of the threats from a god YOU WILL DIE NOOOW." Marathon was then levitated underneath the chandelier. "MWAHAHAHAH" The voice echoed as the cord holding the chandelier up snapped and crushed Marathon killing him instantly.

 

Sky just stared in disbelief. "Oh my Celestia. He's d...d...dead." Sky said shaking.

Night Song did as he instructed and turned to look up at the stairs. She felt a tiny bit of pain, but it didn't bother her at all. When the voice came again and Marathon got crushed, she screamed again. "Oh my gosh! H-he's dead!" she shouted, staring at Marathon in shock and grief. Her eyes started to fill with tears and she struggled to keep them back.

Krystal stared in horror at the splattered pile of flesh and bone that was once Marathon, that now sit underneath the chandelier "Did... did he just..." Krystal's usual confident self turned into a frantic and paranoid one "Omigoshomigoshomigoshomigosh! He's dead! What are we going to do? We have to get out of here! She tried flying but she felt like she was made of lead. She tried opening the door but it wouldn't budge, she tried busing through the window but it wouldn't break even as she continued to hopelessly pound at the glass.

"Buck!" Shouted Usaf after the death of Marathon. Usaf was quick to move between Night Song and the body "Don't look at it, go to a happy place just don't look at it." Usaf had been in combat enough to know that ponies could go crazy very quickly by staring at a the remains of a pony that was living no more then seconds ago.

Cherry Blossom almost threw up when Marathon was killed brutally by the chandelier. She decided to keep quiet and stay close to all of the others. Her first thought, was not to anger the evil voice. The mare even started to tear up a little bit, because of the thought of dying in the terrible place.
