movies/tv Should I watch Gravity Falls?

Well, i'm a big fan of MLP (you know that, rhye?), Adventure Time and not much else, but I've seen a buttload of Gravity Falls previews and I don't know whether to watch it or not. Some say it's great but others say it's just stereotypical kids in Oregon.

What makes it addicting, which show is it similar to?

The clips I've seen are similar to AT in a way.

I wasn't really interested in the show either, but watched the first three episodes just to see what it's like. It's actually pretty good: funny and high-quality. You should give it a try, since you're already interested enough to consider watching it.

IMO I really like it, if you like Adventure time then you'll have to like Gravity Falls! It's an amazing show with a good story I can't say much without spoilers but the characters hilarious and each episode mostly about mysteries and mythical monsters x)

The creator of the show, Alex Hersch, is college buds with Pendleton Ward (Adventure Time), J.G. Quintel (Regular Show), and Thurop Van Orman (The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack). Their humor is extremely similar and they often like to cameo in each others' stuff, use the same voice actors, etc.

 

So yeah, if you like any of those shows, you'll like Gravity Falls.

It isn't worth watching, its just another Disney channel show, boring, unoriginal, all with a lack of humor. The animation is great, but the story isn't.

I don't really like it but and my friends don't either but you should watch it just incase you might like it, since there are parts that might make you laugh and also there are some mysteries in gravity falls. It may not be your thing but give it a chance.

I didn't like Adventure Time, Regular Show, Flapjack, or any other weird cartoons like Gravity Falls that I've seen...

 

...But I actually enjoy Gravity Falls.

 

And that's saying something.

 

It's still got that weirdness too it though, just a weirdness I like. I'd recommend you have to try it yourself, or else you'll never know if you'd like it because you've only heard other people's opinions of it.

Yes, definitely. I like Gravity Falls more than Friendship is Magic. I mean, I think that's more of just my preference in television, but it's a dang good show.

Gravity Falls to me is absolutely amazing, and you should at least try it. 

 

Though it has one big downfall... it's on bloody Disney channel, and the commercials are painful to listen to.
