While looking through the What are You Thankful For thread, @Silverhoof had made a reference to this fantastic show.

 

Anypony else here a fan?

 

The concept of the show, which aired from the late 80's to the late 90's, was a man and his robots on a bone shaped satellite in space making fun of/riffing bad movies. They frankly turned sh*t into gold!

 

What is your favorite episode?

 

Mine? If I had to choose I would say their riffing of The Beast of Yucca Flats and proceeding shorts.

He tampered in God's domain... LOVE MST3K. In fact, I love MST3K more than I love MLP (I know, shocking right). I've been a fan since the late 90s and remember taping as many episodes as I could when it was on the Sci Fi channel.

 

I actually have a top three favorite episodes.

1.) Space Mutiny; they stole all the original Battle Star Galactica footage and made the corniest 80s sci fi movie imaginable, and the names that Mike and the Bots thought up for the beefy but dim main character are just gold... names like Smoke Man Muscle! Stump Beef Log! Big McLarge Huge!

 

2.) Squirm; Mike and the Bots can make fun of just about anything or anyone, but making fun of redneck hics seems to put them on at the top of their game. "I made you a coat out of old boxer shorts!"

 

3.) Boggy Creek II the Legend Continues; and again, more redneck hics. "Crenshaw's using his bathroom rug as an airfreshner."

oh man I loved watching this show when I was a kid. My favorite episode would have to be The Final Sacrifice. I just loved how they portrayed Rowsdower and his alcoholism. Seriously I freaking lost it when crow said, "I wonder if there's beer on the sun?" lol love it. My 2nd favorite would be The Girl in Gold boots.

Final Sacrafice would probably be my forth favorite episode! I don't know, the movie was corny sure, but the plot was actually semi interesting, and that combined with the Rowsdower jokes make it an awesome ep.
