Was there any episodes that you skipped out on or disliked your first watch?

The Show Stoppers. The CMC annoyed me so much in Stare Masters that I didn't bother with it. I still haven't watched it, but I guess I will when I get the DVD set.

I have to agree that Stare master while I like because of a few reasons and because It does have some good moments, I also kinda find the CMC to be the most annoying in that episode.

Still I like the CMC pretty well, and especially after you get past that episode I think they're alot better.

 

You should watch show stoppers though , might as well. I think its a pretty good episode, but that might just be me since i'm pretty easy to please I guess.

I actually liked the song in it, I don't wanna spoil it if you haven't seen it, but you'll understand why its strange if/ when you watch it

I actually skipped Boast Busters the first run through of the series.  This is mainly due to the fact that I didn't even know it existed.  Totally missed it for some reason.  When I saw videos from it, I thought it was fan made or something.  I thought I watched all the episodes up to that point. 

Of course, I've watched it now and I enjoyed it.

 I hated The Return of Harmony 1 & 2 the first time I saw them. I couldn't stand Discord, his voice was annoying to me. But I was rewatching all the episodes and had seen all the rest about 5 times each and wanted something new. Season three hadn't started yet so I watched the episodes again and found I liked them more the second time around.

Feeling Pinkie Keen is a good episode, but I always had problems with it because of the way the message was handled at the end. First watch through I really disliked that episode just because of that, but appreciated it more after reading this:

 

Oh, and I accidentally skipped Hearth's Warming Eve my first watch through too, realized it like 6 episodes later.

Hahaha. I actually had a similar but worse problem, somehow I ended up only watching up to like episode 20 of S1 then skiping to S2, I eventually found the last 6 episodes of S1 randomly before finishing S2. (stupid youtube and there recommended videos not showing episodes .)

 

No idea how I never noticed there was nothing that felt like a finale ever. Maybe I just didn't expect it who knows.

For season 1, I only skipped over Show Stoppers and Over a Barrel. I re-watched the later (though skipped over the song). For the former, it got to the point where the 3 were figuring out what they would do for the show and I just went "That's it. I'm out." I don't think I'd be able to watch the ensuing train wreck (I don't know how bad it was still.)

 

For season 2, it was Secret of my excess (re-watched including Twilight's horribad TOTALLY AWESOME dance) and Dragon Quest. I simply lost interest when they showed the dragons.

 

Season 3 was One Bad Apple (Bronystate got hacked by /v/ (WTF was that thing? Was that their mascot?) and EQTV wasn't working so I went studying) and Sleepless in Ponyville (I still have many things to work on.)

I actually liked pinkies song in over a barrel(I'm weird sorry XD) And I didn't think show stopper was bad in my opinion, but your entitled to your opinion(Theres a song in that one I like to for another weird reason i'll never understand...?)

 

Oh and One bad apple is a wonderful episode in my opinion, some people didn't like it as much depends on how much you like the CMC i guess.

 

And sleepless in Ponyville is amazing! You should get around to watching it ASAP! It was highly loved by many almost everyone. It was a wonderful episode in my opinion. You may even enjoy it if you don't really like the CMC or Scootaloo.

Back then, I've had enough songs stuck in my head (WWU, cupcakes (Dear God the sandvitches...) and At the Gala) and figured it'd be safe to not add anymore songs in my head... Especially one that started a war.

I dunno it probably won't catch in your head, but who knows i guess it depends on if your anything like me.

The one with Gilda is probably my least favorite one. I feel like it could have been better. Also the one where Twilight meets Owlicious. Because it just seems like a pointless episode. I mean, it does teach a good lesson, which is kind of the whole point of the show, but Owlicious is never referenced again, except for May the Best Pet Win.

Actually, the reason why I wanted to purge the cupcake song from my head dates back from my hating days. I stumbled upon that TF2 video with Engy asking Heavy how to makes a Sandvich. Everything was fine and I actually enjoyed it...

Actually, it wasn't what people said... It was what the comments was ABOUT! As I said, it was back when I hated/avoided the show and everything related. When I saw the comments, that's when I made that (then) horrific discovery:

to this day I have been unable to watch 'Read it and weep' in it's entirety. I always get too bored half way through (it's just awful) and my husband won't watch it with me either since he hates it as well. ~

Although there have been one or two episodes that dissaspointed me such as Griffon the Brush Off because I felt Pinkie Pie acted just as bad as Gilda yet Gilda still ended up getting all the blame really rubbed me the wrong way. And the Crystal Empire two parter because of the lackluster way Sombra's character was handled I have watched all episodes at least once and occasionally watch re runs.

Yeah i've watched every episode in its entirety atleast once. And I've rewatched the episodes alot of times, although sometimes I'll end up skipping some episodes. just because I don't feel like watching them, I normally come back to watch them though.
