He was damn right, after all the tales from back then were in the past, and gone with the disgrace his kin fall onto. "Hope you can do it"

 

Suddenly his expression change his ears flapped and he rushed to get on Iron Wing’s side, “we have to make haste, @@Iron Wing, night is almost here”.

"hmm," Draco thought slightly " well since we can't fly because Iron Wing here," Draco's eyes widen "I know where we are  follow me allons-y," Draco said walking towards a cave quickly. He looked back at the two "You two coming. I know a shortcut back to Ponyville,"

Sky made his way out from hospital without being spotted by any nurse or doctor. He guessed that there were not many ponies on the hospital because of the storm. He sighed when he saw the clear blue sky and walked home.

He was walking near the townhall when he saw a light brown mare dragged her cart towards the townhall. He knew that mare. Her green mane was so familiar for him.

"And that smile...could it be...She's...". He didn't know what to do. The fact that he forgot his fillyhood best friends name was just too...what a shame.

A wild idea sprang on his mind as the mare walked closer to him. He knew what to do. He started humming the song he sang at the library yesterday. The part when the wise adored the sky.

Saphina finally arrived at the townhall, but she saw nopony there. "Maybe because of the storm" she thought as she spotted a light blue stallion stood just a few yards in front of her.

She heard that the stallion sang something. she knew that song. a smile sprouted on her face as she dragged her cart closer to the stallion.

"Sky! Sky Warden is that you? Remember me? It's me Saphie. Earth Saphina"

"Earth Saphina...Call of the Earth...I remember" Sky thought as he watched the mare walked towards him in awe. "My waitings...ends here".

He needed about three seconds before he could answered the mares question. "A-aye...It's me...W-what are you doing here?" He stuttered with a ridiculous look on his face.

Sky didn't want Saphie to worry about him and he didn't want to lie as well. "Oh, I...fell. Yes, I fell this morning" He said as he put his foreleg on his nose to check if it was still bleeding or not, it wasn't. "Oh good, she's going to stay here".

"An apothecary 'eh? That's good. By the way, have you found a place to spend the night? I think the mayor couldn't find you a place today. You know...that storm" .

Saphina gave Sky a dirty look as if she was talking to a child who did something wrong, "You're still as careless as always. you have to be more careful Sky". she looked at the pegasus with a friendlier look on her face and said "Well, I guess you're right. I think the mayor couldn't find me a place today. it's late in the afternoon already" she looked back and sighed when she saw her cart which was full of her plants and stuffs.

Sky glanced around panicky, averting the mares gaze. If there's something that could make him so nervous, it's that kind of gaze from the mare. "T-that was an accident. S-sorry. I-I will be more careful from now on...Say, I have a free room in my house and...Since ye can't find a place today, how bout that?".

He rose his eyebrow as he saw the cart, "Ye need help with that?".

"Why? that's a very kind of you, thanks. we can talk and tell stories tonight. I can show you some new concoction I invented in Canterlot during my studies" Saphina said happily and gave the carts collar to Sky. "You sure you're okay? I can drag this cart by myself if you're too tired. you looks a little dazed" she worried about his condition. he didn't looks so good.

Sky smiled when he heard those words from Saphina, "I'm fine...really" he said as he wore the collar on his back. "This way" He tilted his head and walked to his house.

They arrived in his house ten minutes later. He parked the cart in front of his house and helped Saphina to put her plants inside his house. Saphina did the job faster because she could lifted the pots with her magic. He prepared a seat for Saphina in the living room and asked "What would ye like to drink? Tea?".

"Yes please. tea would be nice" Saphina said and Sky walked to the kitchen. she looked around the room. there was no any pictures or photos on the wall. there was just a round table with two chairs where she was sitting and a square table on the corner of the room, in his living room. she saw a cauldron in the fireplace, which looked empty. Sky entered the living room a moment later with two glasses he carried on a tray with his mouth. he gave Saphina a glass of tea and took his glass of coffee.

"Why do you have no picture or photo on your wall?" she asked as she sipped her tea.

Sky chuckled "Photo of who? I have nopony to take a photo of". He wanted to snort, but he remembered that his nose was hurt, so he sighed "You're the only pony I know as a friend and I don't even have yer photo", "And I even forgot your name" He thought as he took another sip of his coffee.

Angel's head shot up as she heard the knocking.  She hurried over and opened the door.  As soon as she saw Indigo's face, she felt a rush of relief.  "Oh, indigo.  You're back," Angel looked back and looked around for the bunny.  Darn that animal.  Where has it gone to?

Charmer watched Sky go, feeling lonesome. She walked out of the building, watching Sky talk to another filly. She had nopony. Her head lowered, and her hooves scuffed against the road. Back home, to be by herself. Hunter and Rain had seemed intimate. And she sensed something between Angel and Indigo.

Iron Wing looked at Draco. "You know a shortcut? Well then, show us how much faster we can be with this shortcut." she replied, following Draco. She was always very careful if it was a new way she didn´t know, so she kept an eye on the environment. "I hope this shortcut won´t lead into any dangers and stuff like that. I can move, but i don´t think that i could fight any monsters or animals..." she said, hoping that they could be in Ponyville in no time. "You may take the lead Draco..." Iron said, following the red pegasus.

Colt followed the lead of Draco, hoping the shortcut would take them to Ponyville before the moon would show her silver face, as the three of them walked he sporadically went towards to the foliage around them looking to stay ahead on any threat and other things.

 

After some time he came back close to the ponies he went walking side by side with Iron Wing.

 

“How’s that wing doing?” he whispered close to her ear.

 

“I know how those wounds hurt, and Im not saying you cant deal with them but I’m here, just in case you want to ” … he paused looking for the right words “give it some rest, ok?” he looked into her eyes as he friendly pat her shoulder.  

 

This was hard for him he was not used to be this close over new met ponies he didn’t even knew if he could call her friend without being weird or stupid, he felt off for that second “You say all of that but don’t even know if she trusts you”  were his thoughts.

"Oh," Angel looked around the house.  "Well...not really some pony.  Just...uhm..." Angel blushed.  "I saw this one bunny...I have no idea where it went.  I think I heard it before...I don't really know," Angel said.  She looked up towards the kitchen as she heard a plastic hitting tile noise coming from it as something fell over.

"It's quick trust me," Draco said as he entered the cave with them "Plus it's safer than going through the whole forrest," Draco said as thy walked. "How are you Iron?" Draco asked as he walked slowly. He flicked his ears around slowly. Of course he knew afew diamond dogs that were nice and often needed help. So Draco often volenteered with them. So he knew where the safest route would be.

Sky stared at his coffee to avoid the mares gaze. He moved his head too much and his sight got blurer. He chuckeld "Wait for ye, what else? Ten years and finally you're here. It's not a big deal anymore". He tried to lift his head, but it felt so heavy. He took another sip of his coffe "I'm used to wait for you in the Unicorn Range. The same place where we were used to play. I worked at the Cloud Factory for two years and kept waiting for ye until...until..." He paused for a while. He wasn't sure if he wanted to continue or not.  "I started to forget...I'm sorry...I forgot about you, I forgot about my promises...", He sobbed. His gaze was totally blurred. He put his foreleg on his face and he closed his eyes, but he continued "And yer name...I'm an idiot...I-I'm sorry. I-I..." His words faded out as his consciousness went away "Love you...".

Iron Wing walked behind Draco, not sure about this "shortcut". She was a bit nervous not knowing where this cave would lead to. Her hoove steps were constant but heavy and she didn´t know if she would make it like that to Ponyville without rest. She didn´t want to rest like a little girl who can´t defend herself. She was proud and strong and she wanted to prove that. Colt asked how her wing was doing and padded her on her shoulder. His paw felt heavy in her condition but she managed to deal with the additional weight. "I think it´s fine if it is folded in. Can´t move it right now..." she answered. She knew that Colt had a very friendly nature but something seemed to bother him. "Hey Colt... is there something on your mind that disturbs you? You can tell me, i will always be honest with you..." she said quietly to him.

 

Then Draco said something about that the shortcut will be safer than going to the forrest and he asked if she was feeling alright. "That would be fine Draco if this shortcut keeps us safe from everything. I am not feeling that good, and to be specific, i feel a bit exhausted. But i don´t want to stop now, just lead the way further into this cave..." she replied to the red pegasus. Indeed she had lost a bit stamina within the time getting here, and one of her wounds under her armor kept penetrating her body. But she would not tell them now, she didn´t want them to worry more than they already did.

Well, at least she's safe.  "A bunny?  Well at least you helped."  He smiled at her.  "I hardly did anything...  All the weather ponies must've come from a different direction than I was looking, or I am not very observent when flying, I don't really know.  We should find the owner of that bunny first though.  It's owner probably can keep it from breaking anything here better than us."
