"You're telling me." Descant sighed. "Musico assures me otherwise, but I'm still pretty convinced it was my fault. Did you even see Rockshire's face when she walked in to see me with String Strung? I'm not sure, but I think there was a spark of revenge in there, at least on her part." Descant then turns to String, and smiles wistfully. "I'm not blaming you, no, not at all. In fact, I agree with Rockshire. I think I may have enjoyed our turn a bit too much."

"It's ok. I mean, it isn't okay,but I understand. Life does get confusing." Cloud tried to sound as understanding as possible. She then thought back to how confused she had been at Sky's house party a few months ago... Between Star Keeper, and Sky... And then the Wonderbolts flight camp, last year.. Between Yavolin and Ace and Star Keeper, again. Life definitely got confusing.

"At least you have a reason to why Rockshire might of done it. I didn't do anything against Krystal. What she did was unprovoked and to be honest if you watched the whole thing you could kinda tell that Krystal was the more dominant mare." Sky replied with a sigh. "Maybe I am not good enough for her?"

"Well, I guess. But Musico seems to be more of your opinion, that Rockshire did it for the same reasons you think Krystal did." Descant said doubtfully. "I wish I knew, just so I wouldn't be sitting here wondering. Picturing things that are probably worse." Descant laughed nervously.

[Krystal 1,468]

Rockshire went over to sit next to Krystal.

 

"No, I should be the one who was sorry... I only joined that stupid game because I got jealous from Descant... I wanted to show him my little revenge.... And I went way too far... I'm sure he hates me even more now. I shouldn't have came here..."

"Don't say that. I'm sure Descant will come back to you eventually. At least you have an explanation for why you did it, I don't even know anymore. Now Sky's probably furious with me and he'll want an answer that I can't give. Oh, what do I do?" she cried into her hooves some more. After a few moments she got up and moped her way to the punch fountain. She got herself a glass and downed it in one huge swig. Staring at the empty glass she thought "This won't help me..." she turned around and threw the glass at the wall, shattering it. She broke down and cried even more.

As Rockshire dodged the broken glass going her way, she looked back to Krystal. She couldn't help but feel sorry for her. A lot.

 

Rockshire walked over to her, hugging her, and whispering into her ear, trying to calm her down.

 

"Shhh.... It's OK.... Let it all out... Shhhh.."

Descant patted String on the back gently. "It doesn't matter if you can't think what to say. What matters is that you're standing by us. It shows you care, and I appreciate that." He genuinely meant it. 

 

"But I'm sure we'll have just as hard a time accepting them back as they will coming back to us..." He adds softly.

"I know it could of been a lot worse with me, but I'm pretty sure that Krystal and Rockshire will come back to you both, respectively..." she said to both of them, She also began to wonder where Krystal and Rockshire were. "I just don't really have much more to say..."

"I know Krystal will come back to me... I just don't know if she loves me as much as I had hoped. I thought that I was making her happy but I guess not considering she just went and did what she did without hesitation. I guess I feel like I might just be being used by her.." Sky sighed.

As Rockshire dodged the broken glass going her way, she looked back to Krystal. She couldn't help but feel sorry for her. A lot.

 

Rockshire walked over to her, hugging her, and whispering into her ear, trying to calm her down.

She hugged back and cried into Rockshire's shoulder. She kept thinking about how horrible of a pony she was and how Sky would be so much better off without her. She wanted to apologize to him so bad but she had no idea where to start. He treated her like a princess and this is what she does in return? Eventually the tears receded and her sadness turned into depression. It felt comforting to have Rockshire there with her. That she wasn't mad at her even though she was at least 49% responsible for whatever troubles she'd get from all this too. She looked up from her shoulder to face Rockshire and said "Thanks..."

Unaware that he had suddenly fallen asleep, El Músico snapped into reality and noticed more ponies had come to the roof, including Sky. "Aye, amigo, you two? Did the show downstairs end, or is it just becoming sick down there?" He sat up, surprised that he had allowed himself to fall asleep, but it was justified by the weights drawing his eyes down, only to notice his glasses were pushing his lids. No wonder, he thought to himself, and he removed the sunglasses, which, as far as he knew, he hadn't put there. Noticing Rockshire and Krystal weren't among the other ponies, he realized that Descant and Sky hadn't really taken any apologies yet. Especially Sky, he suddenly noticed, who for once tonight didn't have Krystal crawling over him.

"Any time..."

 

That was all that Rockshire could say to her. Inside, she wanted to cry too, but she held it back. This night was very lopsided for her... She meets a nice stallion, ends up with a bad leg, kissing mares, and ruining relationships. Sounds like something that these creatures called "humans" would watch on "TV"... Whatever that was. 

 

"Feeling better?"

[Krystal 1,468]

"Yeah..." she sniffled and sat down on the couch. "I just feel horrible... And I still have to face Sky. He must be as confused as I am. Oh, Sky I'm sorry" she planted her face in her hooves again and was about to cry once more when she stopped herself. She looked up at Rockshire "Should we go talk to them?" it gathered all of her courage just to ask. She felt like she couldn't face Sky, not after what she did, but she knew she had to.

Rockshire takes a deep breath, and nods. "Yeah... That seems like the best thing to do right now."

 

She walked over to Krystal, extending her hoof to help Krystal off the couch. At the same moment, Rockshire was trying to win a battle of not bawling herself... And it looked like she was losing.

Krystal took Rockshire's hoof and got off the couch. She saw the tears forming at her eyes "It'll be okay. We'll straighten this out" Her unintentional pun within her statement went past her head as she put a hoof around her back to comfort her and started to walk towards the stairs.

El músico trotted down the stairs and gently pulled the door open, heading to the kitchen for a drink. He eyed Rockshire and Krystal, who hadn't gotten over the shock of what they've done, but seemed to be recovering and on the way up. "Oh, there you two are. Those two are upstairs. Word of advise, don't overdo it on the apologies and ask for their forgiveness, ¿comprenden?" He headed past them, into the kitchen, and poured himself a cup of apple juice fresh from Sweet Apple Acres, before leaving and making his way to the stairs himself.

As they were about to head back upstairs, the odd, Spanish-speaking pony came down, warning them of their others.

 

"Don't worry... We'll be fine. Thanks...", Rockshire simply said to him, as they both walked all the way upstairs, a fair distance from where Sky and Descant were sitting at.

[Krystal 1,468]

They reached the top and Krystal stopped when she saw Sky. Before, all she wanted to do we be close to him and now she was nothing short of terrified to move an inch closer. She looked back at Rockshire and said "Good luck". Krystal took a deep breath and walked across the roof to Sky. She came up behind him and just stood there for a few seconds, looking at her hooves. Finally, she spoke up "Sky... I'm sorry... I screwed up. It started with it all just being part of the game and- and then things snowballed and- and I couldn't think straight and... and... I'm sorry." her voice cracked when she said the last part as she choked back her tears yet one managed to slip out her eyelids and land on her hoof.

Sky slowly turned around to look at Krystal. "But, I just thought we meant something. I thought you genuinely loved me... But then you did this to me." Sky said without showing a single emotion. "Did you just forget that I existed? Or do I mean so little to you that you would jump at the chance to kiss some mare?... I loved you Krystal...but...I just don't know anymore."

[Krystal 1,468]

"I do love you" she said, now looking up from her hooves to face him. She looked into his eyes and could feel the pain she caused him as she began to tear up some more "I just wanted her to kiss me with a little passion, those pecks she was giving out just weren't going to cut it. Then it just sort of turned into a competition and we took it too far and I'm sorry. I love you Sky. From the bottom of my heart. When I kissed her, I didn't feel anything. But us... those moments we had on the couch and in the Jacuzzi  those were real." She continued to stare into his eyes, begging for forgiveness " And if you still don't believe me then I can go downstairs and get Martin's lie detector. I think it might still work..."

Now it was Rockshire's turn. She trotted over to Descant, sighing.

 

"Descant.... I'm sorry. I only did that for revenge when I saw that you were kissing that other mare.... My feelings were everywhere at that point... I didn't know what I was doing when I kissed Krystal."

 

She started to tear.

 

"If you want to dump me for that, then go ahead."

[Sky 746]

"...That really doesn't make anything better." Sky replied. "You wanted her to kiss you passionately..." Sky closed his eyes and rubbed them with irritation. "And if I wanted Cloud Puff to kiss me passionately how would you feel? If I just went into the street and kissed a mare because I felt like it I bet you would feel used wouldn't you?" Sky now had a hint of anger in his voice.

Star soon found himself remarkable alone, well, except for String, but she didn't seem to want a part in the drama. Hopefully there was no tension between them, he hated tension. Star Keeper decided to take a seat on the coach, resting his head up against one of the pillows. Maybe he should just fall asleep here? Sounds like a plan.

"Well... I can't say I blame you..." Descant looked uncomfortable. "But that doesn't mean I know what to think. I gave you plenty of reason to, but..." Descant just didn't know. "But I think you took it just a little too far. I need some time to think. I'm sure you understand..." 

 

 

He thought about seeking Musico out for advice again later. The Spaniard certainly seemed to know what he was talking about when it came to mares.

Krystal was now full blown crying again "I didn't so much want her to kiss me I just wanted her to put her back into it that's all... to see how far she would go... I wasn't going to go all the way but we went too far anyway. It was a game and it didn't mean anything so can we just leave it at that?... No... no I suppose we can't just leave it at that..." she looked back at her hooves "I'm a horrible pony and don't deserve you. Get revenge, go kiss somepony so we can be even, pay me back for what I did, leave me, do whatever you're going to do. I get what I deserve." her last sentence was almost drowned out by her tears.
