Twilight Sparkle drawing

Hey, everyone. When it comes to art, I really don't draw things traditionally, I usually have those light-tracing thingies if I wanna do something specific.

 

But today, I went to school tablet-less so I had to do something else for art class. Well, I thought, since I'm very much into ponies, but not very fond of my art skills, I decided to grin and bear it. I picked a vector of Twilight (because despite Dash being my favorite, I thought she'd be pretty hard to draw), and this is how it turned out.

 

 

(I know some things are off like her eyes and limbs, really wish I went over those more. >.

Better than anything I could make :3 Pretty good. Her back leg looks kinda small, horn could be a tad longer and more wide, but all around it's a decent job.

Well, Idunno. See, I pretty much only use my iPad in art class, but I'm currently working on a vector of my own at the moment. I'm not totally sure what I'll do tomorrow, I will definitely think about it. If so, I'll definitely move on to some other mane 6 pony.Like I said previously, I would draw Dash, but I think she'd be rather complex. I'm thinking maybe Fluttershy or Applejack next. Pinkie might be the hardest because of her curly mane tail, it would be near impossible to get a decent accuracy, I would think.

Pretty swell, Its more solid then my drawings, your so called not being fond of your art skills still prevails over mine .

 

Anyways good job! Only thing I can say is I kinda feel like her front hoof is a bit to stright or something? It looks a bit off Idk maybe its just me. (I'm horrible at critique .)

Not bad at all. This kind of makes me want to try to draw one of the ponies. I'm not the greatest artist either, so I don't know how well could draw them.

 

On a side note: 8 years ago I drew a really good Timmy Turner and years before that Spongebob, Tommy Pickles, and Arnold (from Hey Arnold!). Maybe I can get lucky and draw some of the ponies as well as I drew those other characters.

All of her limbs, as well as her horn are too small, her eyes look derped, the end of her mane isn't curved enough, which makes it look like it's attached to her back instead of her head, and the mane on top of her head looks squished.

 

What am I talking about? It's still a great drawing!

Try drawing a plan of the pony you're doing with very thin lines, it'll help you pick out proportion mistakes before you make bolder lines and add detail.
