Somber was pretty scared on what to do next. He was able to keep in time with the music, but his hooves were tangling with each other, to which he had to rely on his wings to free them. Even though he wasn't a dancer, he could say that he was doing OK for a beginner... Let's just hope Eve thought the same of it.

Eve couldn't help being amused at Somber's nervousness. He was dancing just fine, she thought. Not everypony was raised in Manehattan, she thought. Some ponies have four left hooves. Somber seems convinced he's one of them. She laughed, and smiled at him reassuringly, as if telling him, 'You're doing just fine'.

Ragnar took a seat next to Marisa.  Marisa's last remark threw Ragnar slightly off guard, but nonetheless, he knew that there was some sort of mutual attraction between them.  He was happy that she had an interest in him; it was something had never happened to him before.  

 

Ragnar said, "Marisa, I really do love your mane.  It's color is simply exquisite."

Somber's dancing had greatly been reduced of mistakes, near flawless this time. He stared into Eve's eyes, mesmerized by them... Her stature was beautiful, and it made him feel weird inside... Like he wanted to kiss her or something. Her lavender ((my colors are off, I bet?)) eyes were too hypnotic for him to back away from the stare.

"Silver Mane, You dont get it...I really do love you, But I...I couldn't bare watching you get older when I stay young...I just dont know what to do." She put her head back in her hooves. *Why did I have to come to this party...I should have just stayed home with my plants.* She thought.

Evergreen held his gaze as they slowly rotated on the spot. She thought she saw something soften in the back of his eyes, and wondered what he was thinking. The Star Rose, perched on her ear, fluctuated excitedly, as if sensing something that was about to happen, or perhaps encouraging it.

Silver mane put his hoof on her shoulder " they would be the greatest years of my life even if you would be young at my funeral, but your right we can't be together" he then sat down next to her on the bench " come on cheer up , so what do we do now we can't be together but we obviously have feeling for each other ".

And at that moment, Somber leaned closer to Eve, having his lips make contact with hers.

Cloud watched Sky with a wide grin. "Wow... I wish I could dance..." She mumbled. Kind of just bobbing to the beat, she became extremely embarrassed. She bobbed left to grab a brownie, and lightly nibbled on that, still bobbing.

Cello Opal bobbed her head around near the music, rocking her jam, as some ponies called it. Her mane flung about, and she was unaware of a cup that somepony had probably recently just drunk from on the ground. She took a step forward and slipped on it, flipping and landing in an awkward position against the wall. Righting herself, she shook her head and silently laughed, looking absently to the left, where Krystal sat, frowning with her mane frizzled. Cello Opal, now conscious of her own mane, combed it with her hoof as best she could and moved a bit closer to Krystal. "Not the best party for you, aye?"

"No" she grumbled, glaring over at Sky dancing with Cloud Puff. Doing so made her blood boil so she looked away and took another drink from her depleting cup of punch. She gazed into it, searching for the answers to her problems, not finding any "Opal, what's wrong with me?"

Luminescent Prism straightened his bowtie, once more looking over his invitation to confirm that he went to the right address for the party. "Yup, this is the place!" she said to himself, before continuing to walk down the street and reaching the house. He stepped a single hoof into the doorway, then another, then another, and another, scanning the room for mares as he finished entering and summarily stepped to the side of the doorway. ~Hmmmm... Who should I make a move for first?~ He thought to himself, as if meticulously inspecting the number of beautiful mares in the building.

After a brief moment of surprise, Eve responded enthusiastically. Forget any consequences, it's a party! She was going to enjoy herself.

Somber didn't expect Eve to actually ENJOY the kiss. If she wanted more, then he'll give more. He lowered her down in a embrace, putting a massive amount of passion into that kiss.

Then, When Silver Mane looked into her eyes she thought. *Oh...I really hope i'm not making a mistake.* She closed her eyes and reached her arms around his shoulders, Then leaned towards him, bought her lips close to his, And kissed him.

Arrow Leaf leaned back and smiled. "I dont care about the age difference...I want to be with you." She said, Hugging him and putting her head on his chest. "I mean...I did spend most of my life under an apple tree so if we would be talking about how old I act...I think I would be somewhere in the twenties." She hugged him tighter and smiled.

Then he heard the music and woke up again, " no matter what anypony says, I love you".
