Motion Spark 7,807 December 19, 2012 Share December 19, 2012 "Twilight Sparkle is hitting the road to visit her family in the Twilight Sparkle Wedding RC Car! Where are you planning to travel this holiday season?" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm very sure that at this point Hasbro is well aware of bronies, and that we are making them VERY RICH, I stopped believed that thing of the "intended audience", we buy more ponies than little girls! The concept of the RC car is pretty sweet, and they ruined it, why do they have to make girly unatractive toys for MLP? I mean, why they cannot be more neutral? and on top of that the toys don't resemble the characters at all, and the car's controller has only 2 buttons? they have experience making RC cars before... JesusCrist I hate Hasbro toys, I prefer the fake ones. 20 My OC's: Motion Spark || Beat Spark || Rosebelle Sorry, I don't take REQUESTS!
Just some guy 1,070 December 19, 2012 Share December 19, 2012 I hope you do realize they still have to cater to little girls. It's not like every single person who watches this show is a brony. That being said...man,that is one HORRIBLE RC car if it only has two buttons.I remember buying cheap RC cars that had, like, two analog sticks and a ton of buttons that did cool stuff. Two buttons just makes me sad.Probably can't do a wheelie on that RC if you wanted to...
~Master~ Button Mash 2,307 December 19, 2012 Share December 19, 2012 Hasbro should just go all-out and make a completely separate line of MLP stuff geared directly toward bronies. They know by now it would sell. 18 Follow me on Tumblr! http://stratosthestallion.tumblr.com
angels_gal 204 December 19, 2012 Share December 19, 2012 (edited) Hasbro is already making a gender nuetral easy bake oven. *facehoof* UHHHHHHHH they really should also work on ponies a little bit more. lol. that's all i'm saying. I disagree with their toy line. however blind bags seem pretty good even though i don't have any. They really should make a seperate line for the bronies! khaine21x3 789 December 19, 2012 Share December 19, 2012 I don't think that they can be neutral when it comes to toys, they should just have an entirely new production line for making toys that caters to bronies. What bronies probably perceive as a cool car
Jammo 986 December 19, 2012 Share December 19, 2012 (edited) Would you call Hasbro fanboys HasBros? Just throwing that concept out and seeing if it sticks. As for the toys, the show inaccurate manes are my biggest beef with the dolls. All of the ponies manes functionally work as brushables, so there's no reason for them to not make Twilight's straight and smooth, Pinkie's wispy and Rainbows short and shaggy. I know their logic is "Girls like long hair on dolls and want them to be just AS brushable." but with this fandom throwing money left and right they have no excuse for no show-accurate toys. Vicke 3,189 December 19, 2012 Share December 19, 2012 Well, the show is intended for little girls, and specially the toys. You are a 22 year old male who are complaining about toys that are meant for 3+ year old girls. Just because a few older males are watching the show does not mean the toys should be changed just to suit your needs. And if you ask me, a male over 15 years old brushing a pony toy is a little creepy. 2 Signature made by Kyoshi
SrFrog 927 December 19, 2012 Share December 19, 2012 I actually didn't realize they had a variation of their Pinkie Pie RC. Seriously, when did this happen? ugly thing, but I'm not really shocked or anything. After all, we're still talking MLP here. 2 "Never give no manipulative bitch the benefit of the doubt" - Compa's grandpa...
PonyEcho 1,610 December 19, 2012 Share December 19, 2012 O_o it just rushed in my head what if those cars ended up in an episode meh it doesn't matter the toy line has and always will be focused around the intended audience (little girls.....not bronies never bronies..... ever!) don't see the point of harping on hasbro for such things. my DA http://heavyecho.deviantart.com/ check my stuff out the Anime Club http://mlpforums.com/topic/48196-the-anime-club/ plz join us
khaine21x3 789 December 19, 2012 Share December 19, 2012 Maybe you should try out devianart for custom mlp toys or your local toymaker for badass custom rc controlled car but custom made rc cars tend to be very expensive.

khaine21x3 789 December 19, 2012 Share December 19, 2012 It's pretty risky to jump on the brony anomaly and start mass producing complex show quality toys that could cost over $200 each. There'll always be people willing to make them if you offer em enough $ to make one so you don't really need hasbro to do it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UpSZ6kCl7Ic
Spring Storm 276 December 19, 2012 Share December 19, 2012 Ponies in cars seems weird to me... They take a train to travel long distances, and nopony appears to have a vehicle. One way they could incorporate the toy cars into the show is to have some sort of amusement park with bumper cars. Would make the RC's feel less out-of-place. 1 Together since October 19th, 2011
Wingnut 6,989 December 19, 2012 Share December 19, 2012 I agree with Spring Storm. It's not the style of the car that disturbs me as much as the idea of cars in Equestria. They live in a pre-automotive society where vehicles are either pony drawn or steam locomotive drawn. They have all the basics to start an automotive industry as seemingly evidenced by self propelled parade floats. But Equestria's equivalent of Henry Ford has yet to take this from a novelty to mass production. FWIW, almost everything in Equestria is girly looking by our standards, but they are used by both genders there. Different world, folks.
Vicke 3,189 December 19, 2012 Share December 19, 2012 (edited) @Motion Spark I don't believe the they should make "brony" toys if they don't want to. If they wanted to they would have made it by now. The toy makers focuses on girls and they won't change their direction just because a small part of the fanbase happens to like it and want something completely different. Crispy 5,563 December 19, 2012 Share December 19, 2012 Just to be contrary, I think it being the way it is makes it that much more hilarious. Besides, target audiences, blah blah. Just talk with your wallet and don't buy it if you don't like it. 5 GET IN THE PIT On 8/23/2012 at 1:54 AM, Djenty said: ON MLP 4UMS ERRYTHIN IS SRS

Still with the toys they are currently making they are not respecting the escence of the characters, not a single character resemble their counterpart of the show, and they accesories they put on them are completely out of place. Why would they make even more toys when the ones they have now sell so well anyway? Its meant for girls and i don't think they mind the random accessories. Not to mention, there are fan made accessories all over the Internet. Signature made by Kyoshi
