As Chamois fell backward, Dusk rushed to catch her. "Are you okay?" he asked before commenting, "You gotta watch your step in crowds like this," with an awkward little chuckle. He then realized he was still holding her, which caused him to immediately blush a little and help her to her feet, awkwardly laughing some more.

Chamois was caught by Dusk.  Her heart beat quickened.  "I...I'm f-fine," she said, quickly.  After Dusk had helped her to stand she was blushing.  She hastily laughed a little nervously.  "Sorry!" she said with a shrug, trying to sound casual.  Her heart beat didn't slow.

"It' s...It' s okay," he said hesitantly. "Come on. I know a place where we can watch the fireworks and get away from this crowd." He led her through the crowd safely, and then brought her up on a grassy hill, where he had parked his trailer. He jumped up on top of the trailer, and then he reached back down to help her up. "We'll have a great view from up here," he said.

"Oh...okay..." Chamois said slowly.  Away from the crowd, hmm?  Sounds awfully suspicious to me.  But I don't like this crowd.  And I don't really want to watch them alone.  Chamois followed him.  She watched him jump onto the trailer and looked up at him.  I have magic, she reassured herself.  She reached out her hoof towards him.

Dusk pulled up Chamois and pointed off into the night sky. Three massive firecrackers of red, white, and blue exploded simultaneously in the distance, leaving behind sparkling shimmers in their wake. Dusk looked back at Chamois to see her reaction, noticing the reflections of those colorful little pools of light in her even more beautiful eyes. He smiled.

Chamois nodded at him.  She followed his pointing hoof to the sky.  She let out an adoring gasp and leaned towards the fireworks.  "Wow," she breathed.  "Its...so pretty," she said softly.  She reached out a hoof as if to catch the falling sparks.  Her mouth curled up into a smile.

"You certainly are," he thought, but he resigned himself to looking back to the fireworks and enjoying the show. It was truly an incredible show; better than he had ever seen since joining the circus. But perhaps it was because who he was with. When he saw her reach out towards the fireworks in amazement, he held back a chuckle. She was adorable. She may try to seem distant at first, but she was a wonderful pony once you got to know her.

"Its...just something I could never catch!" she said suddenly.  She smiled at him.  "The fireworks, I mean.  I could never draw them right.  It must be because its something that has to be seen with your own eyes," she said, turning back to watch the fireworks.  "This if fun.  This is a fun day," she said excitedly, before she could stop herself.  She blushed.

"I had a lot of fun too, Chamois," he said with equal enthusiasm. "Look! It' s the big finish!" he said, pointing yet again. Tons of fireworks  lit up the night sky in a ponderous pool of color, being in the Equestrian flag appearing in the sky, seeming to wave in the breeze. As the lights dissolved, they could hear a massive round of applause and cheers coming from all around the circus.

Flame Stood up. "Why are we on the couch." He said, picking her up and flying into his room, Closing the door behind them.

 

 

Diamond nodded. "Tag...I'm always right." She chuckled.

The pony in the tent held out their food. Diamond took the food and thanked the pony, Then she walked over to a nearby picnic table and sat down.

Rag squealed softly when Flame carried her into his room. She had to wonder how far he was going to take this... Because she would want to go with him...

 

Tag grinned. "I don't understand how I could have forgotten that little detail," he laughed. The Mango Delight smelled delicious... But he restrained himself, waiting patiently and politely for Diamond to take a bite of her meal first.

The show had finished, and everypony was leaving through the main entrance. Electro Dash left with Descant. She had enjoyed what she had actually watched. The main event always succeeded.

"so, what did you think?"

Descant smiled softly. "The show? The show was wonderful, as always." He looked around, and saw the line for the Tunnel of Love was short. Maybe now, she wouldn't be too opposed to riding it. Even though it was probably just a boring water ride with cheesy lighting, he reminded himself.

Rag squealed softly when Flame carried her into his room. She had to wonder how far he was going to take this... Because she would want to go with him...   Tag grinned. "I don't understand how I could have forgotten that little detail," he laughed. The Mango Delight smelled delicious... But he restrained himself, waiting patiently and politely for Diamond to take a bite of her meal first.

 

 

Flame gently placed Rag onto his bed, He lay down next to her and looked into her eyes. Then he Kissed her.

 

 

Diamond gave Tag a funny look. "You dont need to wait for me to take a bite you know." She giggled and picked up one of the rolls, then she took a bite.

"Oh my sweet Celestia this is delicious." She said, taking another bite.

Chamois leaned forward again, clapping her hooves together in awe.  "Oh my Celestia!  How do they do that stuff?!" she said, grinning.  "It can't not be magic," she said.  And then as the last sparks disappeared, it was darker out.  Chamois composed herself quickly and sat up straight.

Rag rather enjoyed kissing Flame more when he took the initiative for it. She didn't even beat around the bush this time; her tongue was in his mouth almost the instant their lips touched.

 

"Oh, thank Celestia." He dug into his Mango Delight, but choked slightly, grinning. "This is the best carnival food I've ever had," he proclaimed, once he'd finally figured out how to swallow.

 

Electro Dash saw Descant looking at the line for the tunnel of love.

Descant shrugged, and admitted, "It was more the thought of riding it with you, rather than the thought of the ride, on my mind."

Electro Dash blushed slightly. "sweet, really. Well if you think it's a good idea then why don't we go on and try it? I mean It can't hurt and with all the ponies going to it then it must be half good at least right?" she leaned her hood to the right, as if she was about to turn towards the ride.

Airs stretched out his fore legs to completely wake up, then he nodded as a reply to Scamps' question. "I guess I will. I don't know how long I've been asleep, but it felt like weeks. As long as I haven't forgotten how to play, I guess I will."

He climbed out of his bed into his wheelchair and opened the shutters. "Well, it's nice to be back into things, and especially to see you again, Scamps."

Scamps hopped down with him. "We shoud probably tell Dusk that you're back. Then we can get ready for tonight's show. I won't let you anything happen to you this time." She said with a determined look on her face. She was so glad Airy was back now; they would finally be able to enjoy the carnival.

Flame put his arm's around Rag and stroked her mane. He kissed her neck and slowly kissed his way down her arm. (I am reverting to the blanket thing) He grabbed the blankets and pulled them over him and Rag.

 

 

Diamond smiled. "It is very tasty isn't it." She smiled at how much Tag was enjoying the food. "If you eat any faster...I dunno, I felt like this was going somewhere but I guess it didn't." She laughed and took a few more bite's of the Mango Delight.

Dusk laughed whimsically at Chamois' little outburst. "Maybe I'll introduce you to the pyrotechnicians one day and you can ask them yourself. Either way though, there is a certain kind of magic in those lights."

 

Dusk climbed down from the trailer, and reached up his foreclosed to help Chamois down.

Chamois grinned.  "Omigosh, really?  I'd love to know how!" she said, excitedly.  She then blushed.  My Celestia, Chamois.  What happened to you?  You're always so...negative...  Chamois collected herself again.  She went to the end of the trailer and got down with Dusk's help.

"Definitely," he replied coolly. As they walked off into the night, Dusk said, "Today was a lot of fun, Chamois. Maybe...Maybe we could do this again sometime...doing things like this together, I mean," he suggested, practically begging her to say yes on the inside. It wasn't like him to feel this bashful.

What have I gotten myself into? Chamois thought miserably as she walked with him.  "Oh...I don't know..." she said slowly.  "Maybe if I had the time..." she said.  But I liked tonight and I had fun.  Who could it possibly hurt really?  Me.  Of course.  "I mean...I have to do my caricatures and all."  Stupid Chamois.  You do that for only, like, two hours.  "But after that I'm all bored and stuff so...yeah...maybe," she said quickly.

I'm doomed.

"Maybe?" he thought, disappointed, "Well, at least there' s hope."

 

They soon reached the glimmering lights of the circus. He figured he' d walk her all the way back to her tent to savor his time with her. He tried to keep the conversation going.

 

"So, if we do go out together, what would you want to do? Is there anything that' s caught your fancy around here?" he asked.

Airy nodded. "I'll get ready as soon as possible and contact Dust. I just hope he won't be too angry because I missed out all those rehersals..."

He looked after his instruments. Even though he hadn't been able to take care of them himself, someone had neatly placed them in one corner of the room. Airy had one idea who could have been that, as only one person was able to enter his room except for him.

"Good thing someone picked up my instruments while I was knocked out, otherwise I'd have to get new ones..."

Scamps chuckled. "I couldn't just leave them. I know how important they are to you." She looked a the clock; the show didn't start for another hour or so. They had some time to kill. "Do you want to go check out the fairgrounds?" Scamps asked. "Apparently there's a lot offun rided down there that operate while the show is going on. A lot of the other preformers are probably down there."
