Well I know prety much anything about "vector" but if it was supose to be Granny Smith (if it's not please change the topic's title) well it's great This *was* Granny Smith. Her young version was shown in last week's episode through quite a number of flashbacks that she recounted with Applejack. But yeah, she *was* quite the looker in the past I suppose. Signature to come soon. I think. Yeah. Once I think up a nice one. Or when someone makes one for me. Damn it. I need more time to draw and animate poni. >_<
Obsidian_Winter 1,159 December 29, 2012 Share December 29, 2012 Some people don't have anything more to say other then a Brohoof. A Brohoof on a drawing to me means they liked it and found no reason to crtique it. Remember, there is Character minimums now so sometimes its a pain in the ass to figure out how many ways to say you like something and still meet the minimum needed to post. 1 My past does not define me 'cause My past is not Today
PonyEcho 1,610 December 29, 2012 Share December 29, 2012 not bad but you just need to use the clip feature on the eyes so the don't seem so bumpy like, but i've made that mistake before. good job my DA http://heavyecho.deviantart.com/ check my stuff out the Anime Club http://mlpforums.com/topic/48196-the-anime-club/ plz join us
Batbrony 16,056 December 29, 2012 Share December 29, 2012 (edited) Very nice, very nice indeed! I like Young Granny Smith's design, and it was very cool last week getting to see her at another period of her life (just like in "Family Appreciation Day"); thanks for putting this together Marco!!! Reani 176 December 30, 2012 Share December 30, 2012 Nothing gives me more of an eye ecstasy than seeing a perfectly orchestrated vector drawing. I absolutely love the results of your work. The colors are all right and the lines look very smooth. Coo-dos to you. No matter how much you try.... you can never hit that f***ing dog from Duck Hunt. Jokuc 8,174 December 31, 2012 Share December 31, 2012 I decided to create a vector for granny smith, this was taken from last weeks episode "Apple Family Reunion", how did I do? faves/brohoofs are appropriated, but comment first It looks good, and it's a great vector. The only things I could see was that the ear was a little bit too pointy at the outline. There was also one very small filling error at her elbow but it's so small so it is not noticable. Also I wonder, why does the outlines have different thickness on some places in your vector? Did you make it in Photoshop or what? Some people don't have anything more to say other then a Brohoof. A Brohoof on a drawing to me means they liked it and found no reason to crtique it. Remember, there is Character minimums now so sometimes its a pain in the ass to figure out how many ways to say you like something and still meet the minimum needed to post. Yeah but I see Marco is like me. I don't like when people just leave a brohoof I want them to comment on my stuff so the thread will get on the top of the page and more people will see it. not bad but you just need to use the clip feature on the eyes so the don't seem so bumpy like, but i've made that mistake before. good job I have no idea what you are talking about x_x The eyes arent bumpy from what I can tell, unless you are referring to something else. I wonder if he's even using Inkscape at all.. From the look of this vector it seems like you're using illustrator or photoshop or something? Maybe I am wrong. Anyways, there is a feature called "Clip" which is very usefull especially when making pony eyes. I had to teach PonyEcho this, hehe But for example with just a click I can turn this to this Which is very useful when making eyes. Maybe you know how to do this but message me if you're interested, it's very easy to learn
