Yeah I noticed that with Lion King when I re-watched it when I was older for the first time, So i am working my way down the list of Disney movies to reflect back on what I thought, and what I would feel now. It is all very interesting, personally to me at least.

Oh lord, watch every disney movie over again.

 

There are so many small jokes a kid would never notice.

That makes sense, I can see Scar or any talking animal "Human enough" to give me those feelings, as they have human qualities and traits.

Fun Fact

 

Everypony at Disney though Pocahontas would be their biggest movie, and the Lion King would just be an average title. Due to this, a lot of ponies wanted to be in Pocahontas's production thinking it would be more worthwhile then the Lion King's.
