Anyway, I do quite like this little comic, but I've never used flash seriously to actually get some feels out of this.

Two things I'm horrible with:

Procrastination and saving my work

I've just started working with Flash on a serious level, so those are two things I really need to improve on ;-;

Thats why I use Dropbox and Autosave, nothing hurts more than taking a punch to the productivity when your programs decide to get tempermental

Can I critique this? Okay.

 

The Bad: 

• The pony looks like she's sitting on the edge of her chair and seems like she's going to slip off any second.
• Her coffee looks like it's next to the desk, somehow
• The keyboard is very flat.
• Her elbow is not leaning on the desk, but next to it
• The trash can looks like it's connected to the desk, maybe drawn on it? You also colored out of the lines in the trashcan. If you learn anything in kindergarten, you should at least learn to STAY INSIDE THE LINES, MAN!
• There's no windowsill...?

The Good:

• I love her mane. It's so detailed and pretty!
• You've got her expression right.
• Her wings are beautiful, the anatomy and the way they have "moved" in panel 3 is anatomically correct. 
• The shading is perfect, especially when the day passes by, I like the way you changed the lighting. 
• I like the fact that you actually took the time to put some image on the laptop screen. Details.

Hahaha! I wasn't expecting that - it's a good bit of "slice of life" humor that I'm sure most of us can relate to (in some form or another ).

Thanks so much for the critique! And yeah, I noticed while I was [lazily] coloring that I kind of screwed up the layers, and couldn't be bothered to go back and re-draw everything. Also, I just hate drawing inanimate objects [tables, chairs, coffee cups etc]

Ugh that's like using Adobe aftereffects, You get part way through a project (usually hours of work) then it will crash.  "FUUUUuUUuuU-"
